  1. I still cannot believe that Robin Williams is no longer living. It still feels like a punch in the gut.
  2. Man this is painful to watch. A good comedian needs to host this show not an actor. The Tonys are one thing that group doesn't have a stick up his ass this group does. Still pissed that Lego Movie didn't get nominated.
  3. This episode was fantastic. I loved the girls falling for the old mans routine(it was nice seeing Garry Marshall). Terry dancing and destroying the sliver guy outside. Jake and Gina work well together. The line of the night: "I was lightly stabbed". Man Andre Braugher just keeps bringing it each episode.
  4. Last night was a mixed bag. The beginning was good but after Jerrys Q&A with the audience it went downhill. I loved the new Jeopardy sketch, The Weekend Update segment was great. I wish Jane, Tina and Amy would always be the anchors. The Californians was good but went on WAY too long. There were too many musical numbers in the show last night. It should have been just the two Pauls and that's it. I'm disappointed that they chose Kanye and Miley as the "singers" to represent the music of today. When I saw Walken come out I was super stoked and then was let down immediately when I realized he was just introducing Dbag West. Eddie Murphy being there was a waste of time. Talk about an egomaniac! I loved seeing some of the audition tapes(although I wish that had been longer). Mya as Beyonce as always was great and Martin Short blowing away while the wind machine was on was hilarious! I was so happy to see Bobby and Marty Culp(I've missed them), What's up with that including Sudekis was awesome! I would have liked to have seen more King Tut. I was disappointed that Cheri Oteri didn't get to be apart of anything. Norm Macdonald continues to crack my shit up and I loved his OJ jokes. I wish that someone other than Robert DeNiro had done the Ny segment. I get that he's a New Yorker and that he's a great actor but he can't do live t.v for shit and it was painful. Seeing Catherine Zeta Jones in the audience surprised me and then it made me miss the opening we got at the 25th anniversary with Bill Murray singing "Me and Mrs. Jones". The in memoriam segment had me in tears. I always get so choked up seeing Hartman with Farley, then Gilda, seeing Jan Hooks was tough. I did love the end though with Jon Lovitz. His reaction was brilliant! The segment for Tracy Morgan was sweet and it's too bad that he wasn't well enough to be there. I was super disappointed that we didn't get to see more of Tim Meadows I always really liked him. It was super cool to see Ellen Cleghorn and I'm glad she got to do a little something. I will never not love Waynes World. I wish that it had been on earlier though because I think a lot of people missed out on seeing it and it's a sketch that to me deserves more time than The Californians. I loved the "digital short" with Samberg and Sandler. I'm one of the few people that laughs when the people break and I don't get annoyed by it. Super happy that Kate McKinnon got to do her Bieber impression. Overall the show was actually good.
  5. Hunter is easily better than a handful of the girls on that list. It's so obvious that the show learned a major lesson from last year because a lot of the female talent are either belters or sweet pop singers. There aren't a lot of "unique" voices this year. I'm glad to see the two guys from "Team Dimples" made it.
  6. I think it's funny that people still find the Grammys to be legitimate. It's a joke and it's pretty much a night where the everyone in the industry kisses each others asses. I mean Milli Vanilli won a freaking award for crying out loud. Also if you ever read the list of people who had never won a Grammy you would understand how much of a joke this shit is(Journey to name one). With that being said I had to laugh at the whole Grammys talks seriously about domestic abuse bit. When you allow Chris Brown to be part of the ceremonies then you null and void any good thing you may try to do when talking about domestic abuse. Annie Lennox and Mary J Blige were the highlights of the show. I'm not going to even bother with Kanye because we all know what an egotistical douche he is. I ended up spending the however many hours the show was watching old grammy clips on youtube.
  7. This episode was just ok. I hate how the Sopia/Jake breakup went down. If they had made it that she just broke up with him in the park then I could deal with the possibility of her coming back but because she was so damn immature I don't want to see her come back and make the show hard to watch. The show didn't do a great job with that story unfortunately. Terry and Jakes fake smiles were hilarious! Holt and Rosa's conversations were hilarious and those two should be paired up more. Amy's conflict resolution binder was freaking hilarious! I loved the interrogation scene with Boyles dad. I'm not a huge Gina fan but she had some funny moments in this episode. Holt vs Wuntch is still funny and I loved him mentioning how her autocorrect changes Wuntch to Butt. I also loved how he suggested that Jake do the same to Sophia.
  8. I thought last nights show was good. I noticed that Blake didn't have a ton of lines during the prisoner sketch and the Bachelor spoof sketch. I think that was smart because it kept him from flubbing a shit ton of lines(which happens to a lot of first time hosts). The only spot on impression from the American Idol side during the Family Feud sketch was Kates version of Keith Urban other than that it was horrible! I have to say though I did laugh at Keenans descriptions of each celebrity and the Blake/Adam bit was funny to me as well. Wishing Boot was spot on not only in the lyrics but the video as well. I thought Kate was Martina McBride, Aidy was Winona and Blake was just some random country guy. The deflategate opening was funny and I particularly liked the guy playing Bellicheck stating that he had "dressed up" for the conference yet was still wearing his same attire. I also loved Kate and Bobby re-enacting the "Few Good Men" scene. The faces after he admitted to it were priceless. I'm really going to miss Keenan because his reaction faces save sketches half the time. Leslie was hilarious during the Bachelor spoof. I wasn't sure what was going to happen during the Topeka Today/Joans song sketch. At first I thought the pics were going to be graphic or it was going to be scary but then the song changed and it was really funny. The magic show sketch cracked my shit up and that's thanks to Blake for going all out and also the different things he wished for. Riblet needs to replace Michael Che because he was SO much better at being funny and at delivering the jokes. I enjoyed the Hug Day joke Colin actually did well with the timing on that joke. Michael Che is a mega douche and last night didn't help get rid of that label. Once again Kate is a freaking treasure and I have to say Taran is also doing a bang up job. All in all a good show.
  9. So thanks to my insomnia I happened to catch part of the movie. I probably shouldn't even call it a movie because it was a joke. Also it should have been titled the Bobby Brown Story or Bobby + a lil bit of Whitney. Not only was the casting horrible(the mother looked like an older Mary J Blige and so much so that I joked that during the miscarriage scene she was going to sing "Not Gon' Cry" to Whitney.) Why did we need to know that Bobbys friend Steve got shot? What does that have to do with Whitney? If your doing a Bobby bio pic that would make sense because that's supposed to be his "turning point". This movie made her look ridiculous and glossed over the fact that she worked her ass off for everything and everyone. Where do you think Bobby got his child support money from? The lip syncing was horrible and Yaya was in no way like Whitney. I loved Whitney but she had no rhythm and Yaya clearly looked like she had rhythm. Yaya did a few little things that Whitney did but in no way mirrored her when onstage. Also Yaya may have looked like Whitney in the 80s but she didn't resemble her at all in the 90's. I think its funny that we are supposed to feel sorry for Bobby because hes being called Mr. Houston or people are asking her what it's like to kiss Kevin Costner. The guy was a douche plain and simple and no matter what Angela tells me she can stuff it. I really don't think Angela and Whitney were close and I don't think this was an accurate portrayal of Whitney. I think Angela took whatever Whitey told her at times (whether she was high or not) and just pieced it together. To me the only viable source when it comes to Whitney is Robyn. She knew Whitney before the modeling contract and she was by her side til her death. This movie reduced Whitney to a whiny, drug addled, competent performer when in real life she was a phenom who worked her ass off to keep her fans happy and those around her happy. There was a sadness to Whitneys life that this film missed entirely, there was a sass to Whitney that this movie missed entirely, there was a sens of humor to Whitney that this movie missed entirely. I can see the family not being ok with the film(although I think it has more to do with money I'm looking at you Pat Houston) because it isn't about Whitney. In the end it is all about making the viewer feel bad for Bobby and saying "this is a REAL biopic because we didn't gloss over her drug use". Basically this movie showed Whitney as a horrible drug user wrapped in a pretty package and that wasn't all Whitney was. Angela did a horrible job and really needs to take a step back and realized that she did her "friend" a disservice.
  10. When Dandy shot Amazon Eve my heart broke. I really wanted her to be one of the freaks to make it out alive. I'm pissed that Dandy didn't get a brutal sendoff or a sendoff that he really, really would have despised. Elsa not getting her comeuppance was frustrating to watch. Amazon Eve would have had no problem knocking Dandy out cold there is no way that he had that much power over her. Also unless he can reload a gun with his mind he would have run out of bullets halfway through his massacre. I'm guessing the doc was nobody special because they never did reveal his face. I do have to say I did smile at the end seeing how Desiree got her family and seeing Ma Petite with Amazon Eve and Ethel in a "heaven" of sorts. This season had good moments and bad moments. This season also showed that RM needs to stop adding a ton of characters on top of what is already a sizable cast because either the new characters stories don't get resolved or they serve no purpose and take away from another characters story. It still isn't as good as the first season and I think RM needs to take a hard look at his current formula and do a major overhaul. ETA: Desiree(Angela) had some fantastic lines tonight. She was a hoot to watch.
  11. Vanessa Hudgens as Rizzo? What a horrible fucking choice. I probably won't watch this anyways because Julianne and Vanessa are in no way strong enough singers for this musical. I have heard them both sing and they are horrible. It's too bad that the casting sucks because I would have really liked to see this.
  12. I hate that the show insists on having a female judge on the panel. To me I would rather it be 3 judges of whatever sex who know their shit. J. Lo offers nothing to the panel and I hate that the show fucking pans to her instead of the contestants for half the time. I also don't buy into the idea that she is needed because she knows how to entertain a crowd and has that star quality. Keith Urban can most certainly get a crowd going and Harry has definite star quality. Seeing Adam judge last night made me wish that he wasn't so invested in another album and would come aboard. I wouldn't mind him replacing J.Lo. I think if they were to seek out a different female artist they may be able to up the viewership. People don't want to watch a stuck up bitch who can't sing judge people who can sing.
  13. The girl with the blue hair and accordion was not good and not unique at all. I'm disappointed they let her through. I really hope that we don't end up with another season of super weak(in judge speak "unique") singers in order to fulfill the "see not everyone on AI is a pop/r&b diva singer". They did that last year and the show was fucking horrendous and the winner was a douche.
  14. The guy whose father was in Stomp was good but he won't last long. He's only there because he's fun, seems nice and his mom would be tv gold. The black guy that Adam and Harry thought was super handsome(also had on leather pants) was good but if he doesn't stop with the runs and tries to sing any higher and he will be done. I 100% agreed with Adam when he said the handsome guy was perfect for AI and that the show is made for singers like him. I think the guy who sang Show must go on got through because he was such a nice guy and Adam kind of felt a connection to him. Some of the others that were iffy who Adam said yes to were all just to please the viewers and keep them from hating Adam. The girl who sang Valerie was horrible and will not make it any farther than hollywood. The three blonde girls were good but the last one who sang lady gaga I believe should not have gone on. She was screaming. Also the two other blonde girls in that lineup will be duking it out for a spot because they both sound the same and have the same type of look. It continues to crack me up when they tell contestants like the girl who sang Valerie that her voice was unique and out there because she sounds like every other damn Amy Winehouse wannabe out there. These girls who are singing with the breathy voices and the breaks and almost yodeling type qualities are not unique.. Look at Megan Trainor, Sia, Clean Bandit, Jess Glynn, Ellie Goulding, etc. All I have seen so far is a lot of wannabes and imitation artists. J.Lo and her whole "I'm from the bronx" shit crack me up because we all know she wouldn't go there unless you paid her to. Even then she wouldn't stay there or take a stroll around the old neighborhood. Harry cracked me up when he said he wanted to be called Shayenne(sp?). He is so hilarious and I could watch just him for hours. ETA: The guy who sang Sam Smith was good but his falsetto wasn't strong enough to sing Sam Smith. Also he seems bland so I don't know if we will be seeing him again.
  15. So glad to see Maggie and Stanley get their comeuppance. Elsa is a stone cold bitch for leaving the freaks with Dandy. I'm super glad that they killed the bitch who ran the museum. It was good to see the bad guys(at least most of them) get what they deserved. I'm hoping that Dandy soon meets his maker. I really want to see Amazon Eve, Desiree and the rest of the freaks have a happy ending. ETA: I knew the freaks plan wasn't going to take place because we already know that else ends up on the cover of Time Magazine.
  16. I'm super happy Keaton won tonight. I've always liked him and thought he hasn't always gotten the credit he deserves. Also his speech was just so damn sweet.
  17. Seeing Julianne present the award to George turned me into a fangirl again. I loved Doug and Carol. They were my first OTP and my first ship. I would love to be friends with George because he seems like a blasty blast.
  18. I'm so disappointed in Catherine Zeta Jones for screwing up her face. She didn't need anything done she was gorgeous! Kevin Spacy is amazing on HOC and definitely deserved the award.
  19. AAAAhhh! Lily Tomlin I just adore her!! So happy for Jeffrey Tambor. I can't believe this is his first win.
  20. I love the crap out of Hader/Wigg together. That was freaking hilarious. I would love to see them host the show next year.
  21. How did Lego movie not win?! That film was so much better than Dragon 2.
  22. I forgot to mention how much I loved the Meryl selfie bit with Margaret Cho. Meryl Streep is a gem.
  23. Matt Bomer is freaking gorgeous! I'm so happy for him. I wish the actors in the film were getting more love. I miss Tina and Amy.
  24. Tina and Amy are killing it so far. I wish they would host the Oscars.
  25. Last nights episode was ok. NPH did a good job but I don't think we needed yet another character added to the mix. I loved seeing Amazon Eve kick some butt. Glad to see Dell get his comeuppance. I have a feeling Maggie is going to get away scott free and that pisses me off to no end. She is not an innocent bystander. The whole puppet deal made me laugh. Normally when a show is on holiday hiatus I'm dying for the next new episode but I didn't feel that way about the show. I think the show is losing it's momentum a bit for me.
