  1. Wow. That's actually a very logical question, but it feels so wrong 😉
  2. Making a bread baby was bad enough. Having it come from a German with a very strong accent took it to a whole different level of creepiness for me.
  3. Are you thinking of the hyperhidrosis case--the woman who sweats? I was talking about the woman with the boils.
  4. Agreed. I'm also not ready to give up because these cases just fascinate me, however it's not quite clicking yet. Maybe it's way too much backstory and too little interaction with the patients, so they don't get a good rapport going? Something that bothered me about the hidradenitis suppurativa case is that everyone was talking about how she was no longer in pain, and everything was rosy. But, but, the lidocaine hadn't worn off yet, had it? Unless the procedure took significantly longer than about an hour, it would still have some effect, right? Please correct me if I'm mistaken.
  5. That's one helluva read. The Post article, not her book, that is.
  6. I like Jürgen and think he's positively adorable. That being said, my 2 favorites are Crystelle and Giuseppe. Crystelle does some amazing flavors and I'd like to see how that plays out.
  7. I would hazard a guess that they're not allowed to say she died until a doctor makes that official. Agree, it's incredibly confusing and frustrating.
  8. I'm pretty sure she, and most if not all dermatologists, know what all the rashes from vegetation look like unless they present in a completely non-traditional way. That's kind of basic stuff. As @auntjess said, she did biopsies and I believe it was necrobiosis lipoidica? Not 100% sure though.
  9. Barbie's body is out of proportion, but at least her face is relatively normal. I think [insert name] Kardashian looks more like a Bratz doll. As I googled this image, I found out that I'm FAR from alone in thinking this.
  10. Excellent point. There are 2 other shows , Dr. Emma and Save My Skin, and another one (I haven't seen in awhile) called When Skin Goes Wrong. I'll never get enough pilar cyst pops!
  11. When transgender bride put on that second dress and had that complete epiphany about her body, I teared up with her. This show is leaps and bounds over the original flavor, even when it was in it's early years. Gok puts brides in dresses to get them out of their comfort zone, and explains why he chose a specific dress for them. (e.g. straps to reduce appearance of large shoulders). Often, I think he knows it's probably not THE dress, but wants to point out features that are flattering and show the bride that she is truly beautiful when she has confidence in herself. Gok is very kind. Randy is like that too, when he is concentrating on being a consultant and not distracted by his bridal collection.
  12. Thanks for the intel everyone.! I like this show, but evidently not enough to google it 😉
  13. I was trying to figure out if she's pregnant again. I don't think I've ever seen her with her shirt untucked and no apron before.
  14. In my personal experience, when I get it I feel like I've had about 2 martinis. Since fear and stress cause pain to be amplified, it probably helps by that route, not to mention even if it hurts, you don't really give a shit because you're so buzzed. And the best part? No hangover!
  15. I don't know if she said what it was but a quick google search pointed me to periungual fibromas (click link at your own risk) It was really interesting to hear Dr. Ebony say that we don't need toenails because they aren't as important now that we all wear shoes. The more you know!
  16. I think the only Filenes that did the running of the brides was the original in Boston. Because...they're crazy up there!😉
  17. This season was definitely not as good as #1 and #2, but I'm not checked out of the whole show and am curious what they would do with a 4th season. The Oregon Trail had moments of being funny, but they were widely scattered throughout the otherwise cliché stuff. Todd as Caligula was ho-hum. I am willing to give a pass because this was made during the initial world of Covid, when the world was in chaos and they may have had to make do with what they had. However, if the show continues, I would hope they have that figured out.
  18. The Reelz channel has a great series called "Breaking the Band" and they did one on Fleetwood Mac. That particular episode is shown continuously on the Roku channel if you have that. It seems many bands break up because of internal fighting and the toxic person isn't always who you might expect.
  19. Religious bride's face was the definition of a RBF. I couldn't get past how she constantly appeared as if she had smelled something nasty. I'm in agreement with the rest of you, I don't think she loved that dress. Didn't Randy comment that the appointment had gone on for 4 HOURS? Peter is trying too hard to be the next big "star" on this show. He definitely seems to believe he is something special, and has the attention focused on him, rather than the bride. At the end of the appointment, didn't he sort of congratulate himself on how good he was at helping her rather than simply being pleased that the bride was really happy?
  20. I didn't go more than one link deep in Google and found a peer reviewed retrospective study in PubMed where it's used for IBS in children. The difference is that it is CONTRAINDICATED in those under 6 years, but it can help other diseases in children >6 yrs if used with caution. The wording makes sense to doctors, it's just not language that consumers understand. This makes no sense to me, because the fair balance is intended for the general public, not doctors.
  21. Agree! Now that you say that, I wonder if this show is basically adults playing virtual Barbie through watching real people try on lots of different dresses? Or else it's a ridiculous thought I just need more coffee. Could be both.
  22. I think that Gok has a plan in the way he chooses dresses. It could be that he wants to see how they react to specific features. Ultimately, it seems like a funnel that starts with 'anything goes' down to the perfect dress.
