This is in the running to become my favorite Farmer's Insurance commercial of all time:
  2. That has an incredible cast! River Phoenix when he was 11? Wow.

    Chernobyl

...it seems safe... I believe I'll pass on that.

    In Memoriam: Celebrity Deaths

    Suicide, yeah, that's the ticket.

    Autopsy: The Last Hours Of...

Did anyone else watch the Davy Jones episode? My first childhood crush. So sad.

    Dr. Pimple Popper

That's true, to a point. All the years of training aren't so much about when everything goes exactly to plan, and things work the way they're supposed to work. The years of education are more about being able to realize when the unexpected happens, and knowing what to do when they go wrong. Dr. Lee has often said that while she thinks she has a good idea about what something might be from the appearance and feel, until she opens it up she can't be sure. And even then will still send samples out for pathology to get a definitive diagnosis.

I think they meant that the cows associated the person with bringing them either grain or hay
  8. I took a Viking cruise along the Danube to see the Christmas markets and loved it. Yes, a lot of people are elderly (I'm no spring chicken) but they're all very active and friendly. The food/wine was amazing and going through the locks was mostly done at night. The benefit of being on a river is that most of the cities are right on the river so you can walk to them within a few minutes. It was only one cruise but I'd go again in a heartbeat.

    In Memoriam: Celebrity Deaths

The closer I get to 75, the younger it looks. These days people are living way longer than that, and are both active and healthy.
  10. Point taken, but to be fair, those river cruises are da bomb.

True, but this is a congenital nevus, not a port wine stain. And I agree with you, that kid was fabulous!

Believe it or not, millennials are in that age range now. They're all about calling mommy and daddy for help.

No, furries are a different sort of weird. Cosplay is more about fandoms. Then again who am I to judge if they're happy?!
  15. I heard vocal fry on the other one you posted too, although not nearly as bad as it is in this one. This is like fingers on a chalkboard. The link in the first post you made was mildly annoying but certainly bearable.
  16. I heard it. Ugh.

    S07:E21 The Assanti Brothers

That pretty much sums it up in a nutshell.
  18. Something popped into my head that I haven't seen in a long time--The Paper Chase. I wonder if that would be way too dated or if it would stand up to time.

    Bob's Burgers

I so love when Bob talks to objects like food, and his plants. It might be my favorite thing about this show.

    S07.E27: June, Chad & Pauline

It's been so long since I've seen Pauline's 'journey' that when the episode started I was thinking "why did I think Pauline was so bad? Considering some of the people we've seen lately, I bet the bar has changed and she is tame in comparison". Then about 2 minutes into her story I remembered. Vile and manipulative. Dillon looks like a dead man walking. He's messed up and probably needs serious therapy.

    They knew.
  22. I'm with you on this. I wanted the spiral staircase.

    S07.E26 Milla

Milla got rehab because she had both knees replaced. If you weighed 100 lbs you'd still get that. It's not quite the same as going to rehab so that you can learn to eat right With that logic, Sean had 10 times the resources and look what happened.

    S07.E26 Milla

As I recall, I liked Milla the first time too. It was horrible how her kids needed to bathe her everywere. But her kids were really decent and kind, and weren't most of them adopted from foster homes because they were in terrible situations? They've sure turned out great. She's a kind person with a wonderful attitude. I really enjoyed watching her transformation.
