  1. I also hope that by the time Israel gets to that point Derrick hasn't indoctrinated Izzy to be THAT kid in class (who constantly argues with the teacher over the Bible) and/or is the kind of lawyer that can't wait to take up for his kid's "civil rights" to challenge the school. They are entitled to their (dumb) beliefs at home but I really hope they don't mess up the good progress he's made in school so far.
  2. And it appears that Israel is wearing a mask (pulled down for photo purposes), even while riding his bike outdoors! He's modeling good pandemic behavior for his family. I've been worried about all the kids in in-person school right now, but this looks good!
  3. I definitely thought it was a members' club tag as well (it was my first search) that he was "casually" showing off too, but didn't turn up anything. It does seem like a weird keychain for a church coffee house, but maybe students at the Masters' Seminary get free coffee with it or something? I'm also not saying my search turned up the right thing, but the MacArthur angle is too on the nose for it to be anything else IMO.
  4. Searching "The Steeple los angeles," I found a link to a coffee house inside Grace Church in Sun Valley, CA, whose pastor is John MacArthur. The coffee shop is listed as closed on Google and the link I found on Eater LA goes to an unknown page on the Grace website.
  5. I was assuming that photo was from the Before Times (since Jana is at Magnolia SO MUCH) and she just posted it now because it features a nonsensical platitude. Most people I know are posting stuff like that on Insta (though they are usually noting that it's from the Before Times), but since everyone in that photo has no mask, I was giving her the benefit of the doubt.
  6. I see that reading comprehension is not her strong suit, but I'll try anyway. I'm not wishing evil on anyone. I'm wishing those who won't wear a mask will WEAR A MASK so the rest of us who aren't careless can get our lives back. If you find that evil, you should look at yourself, not a me. Something about a mote in someone's eye versus the branch in yours?
  7. I'm not going to watch the video and give her views, so perhaps this is covered, but we really needed a driving video, a hotel video and three photos of the porch of wherever they're staying, which doesn't seem to have a view of anything? What am I missing?
  8. I love that in a post about a hike that's supposedly for Hannah's birthday, the only girl featured in a photo (I'm not watching any of the videos) is a NotNurie. Happy birthday, Hannah!
  9. I often feel back for the large-chested women as it appears the top is a S/M/L situation and not a cup size thing. I remember watching poor Amy from Illinois and her boobs were just squashed in that practice top. I cannot imagine dancing in that for four or more hours a night! I love the season 3 or 4 outfits with the black shorts and the stripe on the side. I don't like the top with it, but I'd wear those shorts.
  10. Yeah same. The pandemic has definitely reactivated some of my worst OCD and germophobe tendencies, so I kept having to mute it. I definitely won't be watching this one again any time soon. I did feel for Louise, trapped in the house with all those "diseased" people. I do usually enjoy when they have a "bottle" episode that's just the family (though I did really enjoy Bob's trip to the pharmacy!).
  11. I believe they started by using their last names for the first few seasons, but once Google and social media started taking off, the cheerleaders had stalkers, so they stopped. The show also stopped showing the big complexes where the cheerleaders (especially rookie candidates) used to live during training camp.
  12. It looks like mini cupcakes baked in ice cream cones. Unfortunately the pandemic has brought out my inner germaphobe, so seeing him leaning across all those cupcakes to (presumably) blow out the candles in the middle gives me the heebie jeebies, but I'm sure the dessert was delicious anyway.
  13. Anna using her hashtag #littleduggars on this has never been more appropriate!
  14. I figured it must be a brand name, but to me that photo only works if he's got a Claire hat or she's the only one wearing the hat. Both of them wearing Justin hats just makes me think that they think he's the only important one in the relationship (which might be true, but UGH). I spent the weekend going through and scanning some of my photos from high school (20 years ago) and a lot of his photos from his first Insta remind me a lot of that. And none of that seems ready for marriage. Or marriage plus immediate children to raise. They both looks happy in the photos (which is more than I can say for some of these announcements), but they both look about 14 and I won't be able to get past that any time soon.
  15. Yes, I agree that Danielle is being too optimistic for TEXAS in two months, but I love her to be right. I have friends who were getting married in New York that had to postpone their wedding from May to October to next May (and we're still not sure if it'll happen). They got Zoom married last month, so it's legal, which to me, is the important part. But a lot of these past DCCs and current DCCs are acting differently than I would (at least on social media) during this pandemic, so I supposed I have to live and let live (and hope they don't spread COVID to others).
  16. And they're on the highest shelf, so the littles who could play with them cannot even see them or get to them if they wanted to. UGH.
  17. Yeah, that's where I am. I mean, I binged this show at the beginning of quarantine, back when we thought this was going to be quick thing to get through. But now six months into it, and I'm tired of being tired and anxious and angry and I'm not there yet in terms of finding the toilet paper shortage or mask outrage funny. I have no doubt that this show could do that well as they've done other "disaster" storylines well, but I'm personally not in a place to laugh yet.
  18. To me, it looks like something I'd see on my feed from that person's partner as an example of their effortless beauty or whatever. Like the partner can't stop looking at how lovely their partner is, just before the partner turns and catches them and laughs. Basically part of a romcom.
  19. To be fair, it looks like one of those city souvenir mugs you buy at Starbucks (I know some people - okay their parents - who makes sure they get one from every city they visit). So, it is a carefully curated thing, but also dumb.
  20. I was loving Donald the whole night through, but I can't be mad at Ashley for hitting a hole-in-one (after telling herself to do so and stay dry!). AMAZING! The finale is going to be AWESOME!
  21. Also, great job getting the stroller's logo in the photo twice. Aiming for a free upgrade to a two-kid version? 🙄
  22. That last photo made me sad, if only because I'm scared for all the kids (and teachers and staff) in in-person school right now. But perhaps their part of AR is in the green zone and it'll be fine. But happy to see them all in masks (even if just for the photo) and praying that they stay safe because this is going to be SO GOOD for that child (and the whole family).
  23. Yes, I would definitely think they were planning to murder me if I stopped too long at a traffic light...
  24. You do not have to have any particular cable company or package to watch Pluto. It is owned by CBS/Viacom, but I've been able to watch it anywhere.
