  1. My BFF named her last kid Ezra like 6-7 years ago (I can't remember how old he is now - she has a lot of kids). Lots of "there's nothing Better Than Ezra" jokes on her socials - though I doubt Josiah and Lauren are doing that. Lots of old-timey names are coming back into vogue, so I didn't bump on that. The alphabetical theme is kinda hilarious though.
  2. They are also taking up that entire giant crosswalk, instead of walking as a group to get inside easier. Why do I feel like Jill is holding up traffic to get this perfectly "candid" family photo of walking into Walmart?
  3. This just came on my FYP and I thought y’all would enjoy watching it too! https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZTLjsBYYS/
  4. This is said by one of the non-Paul members of the pub trio to Mae after he says he's going to burn the pub to the ground if Richmond actually wins a game. (I don't know which one is Jeremy and which one is Baz, sorry!) 2x06 - The Signal: "I swear, if we actually win this match, I will burn this pub to the ground." (off Mae's look) "I will... knock over a chair." (Mae continues to stare) "I will channel my raging enthusiasm into ways to help my community."
  5. Is the shelf crooked or the wall (or both)? The gap between the right side and the edge of the wall is not the same at the top and bottom of the shelf.
  6. I know this isn't the point of her post, but it always bugs me with the mom dresses and gets the kids dressed up and everyone matches, but then the dad is also there. Like even his shoes are dirty. Was there no white shirt he could wear to match her dress? No burgundy tie? Like they found tiny burgundy onesies for their newborn, but that was his best outfit choice? C'mon Jeremiah! Try at least as hard as your wife who had a kid a week ago!
  7. Found this in Site Business (which feels like it should be part of this traffic light announcement, but whatever): Not sure it's very helpful in understanding what they want from us (also apparently there's going to be Badging if your a GoodPosterTM?), but it's got more info than anything I'd seen so far.
  8. Given the koombaya speak in the "red light" message it's only a matter of time before all the threads get closed because this is NOT a fan board for this show or the people portrayed on it (and never has been). Perhaps if the new leadership had ever seen the show, they'd know that the SHOW and it's participants don't adhere to the DEI principles claimed. Look, if the new leadership wants: then I don't know what we're doing here. That's not what this forum has ever been about because the people this forum is about aren't like that. "Global Citizenship?" What debates have we even been having? If they want new titles for the threads, fine. We changed David Rod's nickname after the last DEI talk. But just giving us traffic light colors like elementary school and telling us we all need to practice kindness is a little ridiculous. We're kind to EACH OTHER, but not the subjects of the cancelled show. If that's what they want, I'm out.
  9. Given that my snark meter is pretty high (and been around since the TWOP days), I'm not sure I've ever seen whatever issues they're talking about. If they want us to stop talking about something or someone, they better come out and say it. I see that Josh & Anna topic is locked, so perhaps it was getting "ugly" in there. Being treated like a toddler does NOT make me want to read or post here (which is maybe their point).
  10. It was lovely to see the cast together (in public) for the last time. After the lack of awards at the delayed Emmys and Golden Globes, it would have been a big surprise for them to win last night. It's not surprising that the voters saw the same problems we saw with season three, but it still must be hard to be an awards favorite the first two years and be totally shut out during the final season. Very excited to see what the cast does next and hope we get some little reunions in the years to come!
  11. It's also interesting that you don't *have* to click the banner to read or post. I didn't even notice it until I saw y'all talking about it and decided to read it. You'd think if they were serious about wanting to make whatever changes, the post would be compulsory to read and agree to or whatever before you can post.
  12. Yeah, I was grossed out that of all the places in that barn, she chose her sister’s bed to change a dirty diaper, but I guess that’s the better option than she just left a wiggly, rolling baby on a bunk bed to nap. Shouldn’t that place be teeming with cribs and baby stuff given how freaking kids they have?!
  13. I mean isn’t this the sort of thing that had the cheerleaders removed from the TD decks after the first couple of seasons in AT&T Stadium? They only moved back there because of the pandemic restrictions keeping them off the field. It’s disappointing but unfortunately not surprising when you see how close the fans come to these women.
  14. Isn’t Monat the brand that causes hair loss? I remember seeing videos on TikTok about that after a bunch of influencers were posting about it. Yikes!
  15. I can't believe I spent three weeks in Alaska this summer and didn't learn any of these facts! Wolf sneaking in the shirtless hunk volleyball scene into each story was my favorite part!
  16. If you love Hannah’s singing, don’t forget Hannah’s Apple TV holiday special coming out next week! https://tv.apple.com/us/movie/hannah-waddingham-home-for-christmas/ https://www.instagram.com/reel/CzdHIrmI2Kt/?igshid=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==
  17. I could not figure out why they didn't take her into training camp. She was tall, had long limbs, and those kicks! They only thing I can figure is that SOMEONE (of the LSU girls) said some shit that kept her out. Because that should have been a help - like Keyra - but they were like just like, we don't like her hair! They made Loren from highlighter blonde to dark brunette when they didn't like her hair, so why not even try?
  18. I wonder if they are saving it as a mid-season replacement because I'm not seeing it on my DVR at all in the coming weeks. I actually thought I must have forgotten to set up recording for it, but it's just not there right now.
  19. Apparently, it's been four years since it all started. Nicky Austin shared these on Insta.
  20. And no disrespect to Scream (1996), but The X-Files used it in 1995, so this is where I heard it first. I definitely saw Scream, but have no memory of the song being used (to be fair, I also barely remember the movie because it was nearly 30 years ago). So we'll have to agree to disagree about to which previous media belongs to this song!
  21. This. Like Oregon Trail, the jokes are a little too hackneyed (oh no, the married people need to spice up their sex life; oh no, the main character is getting older and can't party anymore; etc), but there are little moments (and guest stars) that will keep me coming back because I like this cast and they are having fun. Plus DanRad may show his ass again and I don't want to miss that.
  22. But that's not what happens in that scene. Jamie starts to share his trauma relating to his first visit to Amsterdam and Roy replies with sympathy, "That must have been traumatizing." Jamie replies glibly, "Nah, she loved it" and you can feel his dad coming through in that moment. It's such a quick response that you can tell it's a trained response to telling that story. But Roy didn't respond initially the way most men Jamie (or James) told that story to and he doesn't respond to Jamie's glib remark, just lets the moment sit. Then Jamie shares "Oh for me? I don't...I don't really remember it." He's blocked it out because it WAS traumatizing and he is starting to feel safe enough with Roy to talk about it and maybe start processing that experience. He goes on to talk about his mum and their trip, but how his dad was always there. And we see that his dad is STILL there from the earlier response and things like Jamie doing that little fake punching thing (on the Skinny Bridge) that his dad does in Man City. James Tartt is in Jamie Tartt and Jamie has to figure out what to do with that.
  23. And they finally got to meet recently
  24. I really appreciate Nick's thoughts and motivations on this and it gives me a better understanding of the character and where the show was trying to go. I guess my problem is...I didn't get it. I didn't see the pauses in Rupert's office in the beginning as Nate not being comfortable with what he's done, but simply that Nate isn't a confident guy in general or that he's in over his head, but he still feels he deserves it. As someone in the episode threads summed up brilliantly, the show really "showed their work" with the layering of Nate's insecurities with his rise in AFC Richmond in season 1 and the full heel turn in season 2. I guess, they tried to walk it back in one season what they walked forward in two and it didn't work for me. Jade being part of all of it didn't work for me either because Nate's such a walking red flag about women (even as the "catharsis" is coming to an end, it's all about "my girlfriend" and never "Jade") that I can't imagined changed just because he met the right one. Maybe I'll rewatch season 3 straight through with this bits in mind to see how it all fits together, but when your actor has to write a three page letter to fans to explain how it works, the storytelling failed a bit IMO. But obviously, Nick did a brilliant job in layering all of these things and working on this character to really make us believe in the first two seasons and I wanted more to bring us back if this is where it was going to end up.
  25. I definitely thought it might have been a dream as well since we flash right back to the plane and Ted getting home. But someone on Tumblr pointed out that Ted can't dream about people he never met (like Rebecca's Dutch guy, etc), so perhaps it is a flashforward in the midst of Ted's present?
