  1. Perfect! Those shoulders are everything. Thank you Spiderpig!
  2. I really don't have anything against the woman, but if anyone is more skilled than me regarding the internet, could you post a picture of Giarda with a curtain a la Gone with the Wind/Carol Burnett? I think that's what has really always been in the back of my mind regarding her. Thanks.
  3. (Haven't watched Grey's Anatomy.) I just find Deacon too passive (not even passive-aggressive), and his sad puppy dog eyes don't do it for me any more. Without Rayna as an alpha antidote he's become boring to me. And he's really losing points in terms of his relationship with Daphne.
  4. Is anyone else done with Deacon? Just me? What was with that fake tan Scarlett was sporting in her first scene? Avery is "literally" worried about Juliette. As opposed to "theoretically" worried? (From an old discussion, I too failed to recognize the staircase!)
  5. Thanks for posting this - the level of training is amazing (have you seen One Man and his Dog? British sheep trials, amazing).
  6. Thanks for the explanation Saber.
  7. Totally agree that the opera guy seemed like a great person, but his singing was not great. But I also felt that about Johnny Mandel - great potential, but way too much vibrato, especially in the first half. Simon needs to learn to say "One of the best ever", not "The best. , ever." I found the act with Heidi in the white leotard incredibly boring after the first twenty seconds and would never pay to see her in a set. I enjoyed the woman with the dog, mainly because he was incredibly well trained, and didn't require a treat every few seconds, unlike the dogs at shows like Westminster, Crufts etc, (and the earlier dog act on AGT who were allowed to behave obnoxiously in the holding area) who could learn a few things from watching old Barbara "Walkies" Woodhouse videos.
  8. If David is so allergic so allergic to peanuts he should ALWAYS carry an epi pen. I can't stand Rusty, he reminds me of Lenny without the sleaze.
  9. Tyra's contribution? Telling a Frenchman how to pronounce champagne.
  10. I just watched too. Did my ears deceive me or did the final male candidate call Irvine out as a bully? And Emily agreed with him. Good for them for standing up to that prick and to FN for airing it. Or was it all wishful thinking?
  11. Thanks for that. Those things go by so fast I can barely keep up, never mind form an opinion or remember anything!
  12. Did some people get a two-hour show? I didn't see several of the performers mentioned by posters - frog man? Ballroom couple? Jazz girl? Plastic suit? Anyone else notice this?
  13. Why did Nancy even peel those thin-skinned potatoes? It was totally unnecessary. Sandra Lee - bits and bobbles? Seriously? I've been advocating since I first heard it for "ooey gooey" to be banned from the mouths of anyone over the age of two. Matthew has now proved my point.
  14. I dislike the woman who ranted on about the tour group. Plenty of those today; she may well have been on one herself in northern Thailand or western Africa. She also yammered on about lack of government support and the government's acting with impunity. Doesn't she read the papers in her "real life"? (Thank you to the poster above about the realities of being a single parent today.)
  15. I think she eats fish because I believe in an earlier scene she told Celia she didn't think she could take any more fish. So, even though there were kippers, Celia kindly made her an egg. (I think it was Celia not Trixie, but could well be wrong.
  16. Best thing about this episode? Only a couple of brief shots of Gabby.
  17. Laura was robbed, and worse, we have to watch more of Ann's stupid antics and obnoxious talking heads. Speaking of which, I'm so grateful Mandy has finally gone. (Did anyone else hear Anne call her Bambi at the beginning or was it just me?) This is Daniel's to take, so obviously Ann will win. Rachael's teaching style has always bothered me. How are you going to learn if someone else always takes over? I far prefer Anne - she may yell but it seems it's because her recruits are not listening and she wants to teach them, not do it for them.
  18. This reminded me way too much of The Affair, which was boring and irritating by minute 5 of the second episode. I'll try the next episode of this one, but don't hold high hopes.
  19. Did anyone else notice Tesar said he made it to the top three? No you didn't, asshole, you made it to the final four.
  20. Regarding the bottom two, my thought is that the judges felt they couldn't send Izzy home because that would have made that poor woman in red feel worse than she must have felt already. I can't believe any of the judges actually thought Allie's was worse. It would have been awesome if the client had said "I look hideous, please send Izzy home". I wanted to rip Izzie's antlers off every time I saw them. I've no idea which designer it was but there was a hilarious moment when she (paraphrasing) asked "do you like cleavage or something more covered?" while staring directly at her wonderful cleavage.
  21. Both teams had to filet a fish, I believe (remember the guy who'was totally obnoxious about getting a date?). Anne's contained the shrimp as well. I hate the whole kid thing. Those girls added nothing in terms of knowledge or skills, they just repeated what Anne and Rachel said.
  22. That meatloaf was as unappetizing looking as all get go.
  23. Is this a living nightmare or just the most unconvincing and irritating voiceover ever?
  24. This may have come up before, but Lettie's fingerprints must be in the system, but she never takes any precautions not to leave them at the crime scene. Also, it's inconceivable that there weren't security cameras in the jewelery shop. And the salesman would certainly have noticed immediately that stuff was missing (plus I know he was smitten, but he would never have been so lax about leaving jewelery out like that and turning his back)..
  25. Not sure why it's taken me so long to realize this, but he's obviously the Saddest Little Boy in the Whole World because he can see into the future and that future is Gabby.
