  1. For my money, Bill was a piece of work, too. He said he was devoted to Lonnie because when he was in the hospital, he didn't care for how they were treating him and Lonnie came down there and threatened to sue the hospital and the doctors and that got them in line. Right then, I'm like okay both these guys seem like assholes. Then Bill and his partner helped Lonnie transfer all his assets to Micki and divorce her, so Lonnie would not have to pay out anything when he was gonna be sued for his bad business practices or whatever it was (I forget). And that essentially got Micki killed, cuz once Micki had the assets she wasn't too keen on giving them back. Lonnie wanted to be with his new woman but had to get his money back first.
  2. Why did you not kick that early FG, Colts?! I'm glad Bills went through, but they need to step it up, if they are going to go further. Wow, the Rams D came to play. Bummer about Wolford, hope he gets a chance to play next game, cuz I think he brings more than Goff. Boo on the announcers implying that Wolford should have stayed in the game despite the helmet hit and neck injury. Yes, cuz if he was a real man he would put football over a possibly life-changing injury. Whatevs. WFT/Bucs was a better game than I thought it would be. All in all, an enjoyable day of football!
  3. My group of friends have a weekly online poker tournament, and I took my old tennis trophy and glued a poker chip where the little gold guy was holding up a raquet. It's brilliant and has been the source of a lot of laughs. Everybody wants their name on that trophy. Anuerysm guy's cry was dry, but he did look devastated as he realized all the Sharks were going out. That couple is making one bad decision after another and seem to be in some kind of magical thinking place. Kevin is always the one to interrupt the sob stories.... "Okay look, you are not ready for an investor."
  4. Of course, Superhero Sonny, after being drenched in freezing water and suffering the bridge collapse, then laying out in the elements for a week with no shelter or water, will heroically make his way back to Carly. And all the town shall rejoice and sing his praises. Right Sam, you are gonna step up as Leo's big sister. What a fucking joke! You don't even see your own kids! Leo would not know Sam from a hole in the ground. And furthermore, a hole in the ground has more personality than Sam! .
  5. My DVR is set for the weekend! I think for the most part, the right teams are in. I'm from AZ and am almost glad the Cards didn't make it. They don't deserve it. I would rather watch Goff's spunky backup than Kyler Murray's lame pouty face. He seems so detached when things are going to shit. And the press conferences, OMG, "we just need to do better" after ever single bad beat. ....ya think? Ugh. The press here was scathing after that display. I'll be rooting for some spoilers this weekend. Since it might be Alex Smith's last game, I do hope the Bucs don't trounce WFT ...but it seems pretty likely.
  6. It seemed to me like both of them were on some kind of drug. Just the way they grinned like cheshire cats while Dr. Now was explaining how Thederick would be dead soon, and other strange times. Same when the nutritionist was there.
  7. Loving the scenes of Brit and Liesl. Hope they stay on the scene as a legit family. They bring much needed energy and humor. Last episode Sam says (in front of Franco) that she has some of Jason's things to give him, and goes upstairs. I'm expecting her to come back with a box of guns or something, but then she comes back and announces that sorry, but she could not find his favorite gray sweater. WTF?! And have we ever seen Jason in a gray sweater?!
  8. The acting was good, but I DO NOT need Ava and Nik angst already. We JUST endured months and months or that. Let them build into a good solid couple or even super couple first.
  9. The intoxicated way Marcus was looking at Ollie after eating his meal. I live for those moments. His food was sublime. The others were great too. Initially I thought Olivia would be the winner. Well those two episodes were a delight. Until next time...
  10. I'm surprised they chose this episode as the first of the new season. You would think they would choose one that was a bit more uplifting. I wish they had showed some of Sam's therapy, because I couldn't wrap my head her complete lack of will power and self determination, even though she had a good understanding of her situation. She just seemed like a totally out of control addict. Unfortunately, there is no rehab for food addicts. Drug addicts can go into a facility where they are physically barred from their drug and often medicated to make it easier. That is essentially what the hospital became for Sam. Bella seemed to be gaining rapidly toward the end. I hope there is some kind of intervention by her Grandma or aunt. Bella and her boyfriend are probably reaping some rewards from Sam's food porn earnings, cuz they seemed to put up with a lot. And Bella actually said she thought the youtube stuff was good for her mom's confidence.
  11. I wasn't even going to watch those "Critical Moments" episodes cuz I thought it would be just clips, but they were actually pretty good. Just featuring a couple cases each. I believe Sgt. Walker did retire, cuz they showed it. I think any new episodes featuring him at this point were filmed earlier.
  12. I would prefer Sonny go missing long enough to either put Jason/Carly together OR have Carly actually become the superior mob boss due to her brazen moves. Just anything besides Sonny just turning back up and everything goes back to samey samey. I laughed when NLG booped Finn on the nose with her finger as he clearly was not expecting it.
  13. Just saw something called "Masterchef The Professionals A Festive Knockout" come through! Haven't watchedit yet, but it says Episode 1, so hopefully there will me more!
  14. After Christmas sale on QB's: Haskins, Wentz, Minshew, Foles, Newton... Jeez, there are so many games on Sunday that I want to watch I will have to go into a media blackout for the whole week!
  15. Just chiming in to say how gutted I was by that "100 Years of US Figure Skating" special. I did not record a NFL game I wanted to see because I REALLY wanted to see all the great skates of the past. I was shocked when most of them I remember seeing in recent years or even this year! I held out hope I would at least get a gorgeous Jeremy Abbot program or even just Evan's Firebird since those are not THAT long ago, but no. I enjoyed the Shib Sibs "Fix You" and the other older numbers, but I ended up FF a lot of it. : (
  16. Chase: We pulled Julian out of the river, dead with two bullets in him, and we know Sonny was after him. Don't know if Sonny's dead or alive yet. Oh, and Jason we know you shot up the bus station, killing somebody. Willow: I just love spending time with your family, Michael!
  17. I seriously don't know if I can stomach what is surely to be an OTT display of heroic Sonny punching death in the face and against all odds making his way back to his family in time for Christmas ...cuz he is JUST THAT FUCKING AMAZING. And the show will play it like some Jesus rising from the dead miracle moment. PUKE!!!!!
  18. Good job, Carly! Joss was almost about admit she found mob life weird and uncomfortable, but you manipulated her her right back into believing it's all love and roses. Keep up the grooming and she will end up just like you. I'm sure you would have it no other way!
  19. WOW. This will forever and always be my favorite cookery show. The boys brought me to tears this week with their stories of mom's and grandpa's. So is it boo ya base, boo ee ah base, or boo ee yah base, cuz between the chefs, the narrator and the judges, I heard all three! What a delightful season! Happy holidays to you all and hope to see you for the next MC UK!
  20. Thursday's Eastlake Conspiracy... Not much to say, except boy was that guy ready for his 15 minutes of fame. And, Andrea Canning's upspeak at the end of almost every question was unrelenting!!
  21. The topless scene between Michael and Chase almost had a homoerotic undercurrent. Before Chase even said "I thought you were gonna kiss me," I was thinking, can you two just kiss and make up already! Of course Mikey is not really mad at Chase and Sasha's ruse. He is mad that the lie is out and he knows he pales in comparison to Chase and could never win Willow's heart on his own merits.
  22. I didn't even know about the program until I saw these posts! Bummed we are not getting a full season, as I was enthralled by the last one. Was kind of sad that they ended on a hopeful note with things getting better in NYC and starting to open up, knowing that things quickly got worse again. The actress was exhausting and emasculating. I can see why the husband would go elsewhere for emotional support. Don't condone affairs, but geesh! One minute he's weak, but then when things start to go his way, she tears him down for that. She is an alpha for sure. Hope we will get a longer series at some point. Seems like it could have worked to just film it over the internet.
  23. Anyone watching the current season. I am furious they keep putting the scribble guy through!
  24. Cramming a couple ounces of veg into a high fat, high sugar ice cream does not make it a health food. You are still better off NOT eating it. Thus, if you are going to indulge, you might as well enjoy your favorite ice cream and have a small portion.
  25. I think I might like how they are doing the semi-finals this year even more than when the chef's go out to a restaurant to cook. I enjoy watching the guest chef's work and then we get to see two rounds of two-dishes of the contestants cooking. That's a delicious amount of cookery! Though I am sure it is really exciting for the contestants to get to go into famous restaurants and cook, so I would not want to take that away from them.
