I felt bad for Emma in the semis. There was really only one to choose from. I cannot believe they put Lorena through. They can't possibly think Jane would want a portrait distorted like that, in such unflattering ways. Not sure I've ever seen a semi-final with so few successful portraits.

Is this the end of the show? I've enjoyed this little gem. I was unclear why Sabi wanted to go to Berlin. I think they were supposed to go with 7ven before but didn't, but I couldn't remember why they were going. So glad Wolf did not show up on the plane. ...That only happens on TV!

I figured it would be a battle of the Toms. Tommy had been kind of sneaking up on everyone. When he said he had been cooking something for months for his dish 😱🤣, I thought he just might steal this one. But I agree, it was always Tom's to lose and he came through brilliantly. His food was GORGEOUS and apparently flawless. What a lovely guy. He is probably too busy to date, but it's nice to see he has a trusty dog to go down to the lake with! A word about Alchemist in Denmark. I mean, I enjoy a planetarium-based restaurant as much as the next girl 🤷‍♀️, but is that guy really helping the planet as much as he effused was his mission by using all that tech and wait/cook/performance staff and space and resources to make food that might make rich people think about their consumption. 🤔I looked it up online, and it's $707 USD to eat there, $2,151 with wine. And finally, please, for the love of God, can Greg retire his "woah" face and come up with a new reaction when interacting with the chefs. 🙄😖

Agreed. I don't get it. Because of a strong family history of ovarian cancer, I am supposed to have an ultrasound every 6 months. Often they find a little growth or something and the doctor (of course) says to come back for another scan or biopsy or whatever. But sometimes I don't. (I choose to see if it will just resolve.) What is the doctor supposed to do, call all of his patients who are not following up as directed and convince them to come in? Not his job, and it would be impossible time-wise to track hundreds of patients. ...having said that, if my doctor looked like ME and talked like Batman, I'd probably go in more often.

Ahhh, I really liked Josh. Such a sunny attitude. As other's pointed out, Ashlie totally has resting "I am so over being judged by these people" face. 😒 I mean, I probably would too, but girlfriend, you got to disguise that sour puss if you want to stand a chance of winning.

Was rooting for Jason. Have to admit I was underwhelmed with Pasha's free-style choreo, and with Val's. I enjoyed Mark's dance with Charlie more. It is a shame last season was on streaming, because some of the dances Mark created were downright amazing. The Simpsons dance was was nothing short of brilliant. Anyhoo, the show was WAY better out from under the godawful oppressive ego of Tyra, so I am just grateful it was back to being enjoyable. If they would trade out Bruno and Carrie Ann for some fresh judges, I would be thrilled. Those two have become cartoon caricatures of themselves, and I only listen to Derek.

Really hope Chase and BLQ don't make it to the alter. I see no sparkle there, and I do not want Chase to be stuck with Q drama and BLQ shennanigans for much of his storyline. Chase hasn't really seemed vibrant since he was ripped away from Willow, who also lost her identity in the breakup. Should Kristina be going from offering to be a surrogate to starting a new relationship? Maybe give Blaze a head's up. I know I would not be up for getting newly involved with someone who just signed on for something like that. ...yeah, I'm selfish like that! 🤣

They really want Jozzy to stay in this competition for some reason. Is it 5 (?) other females who have now been eliminated before her. Bobby had the worst tattoo last episode for me, with the heart/helix thing, but I knew they woudn't boot him. One of the judges even said he wasn't "ready to let him go" as his reason for not choosing him, clearly implying it did not matter how bad his tattoo actually was. I wonder who is calling the shots on the eliminations.

On another forum I read that Marcus is now only a one star chef! 😱 I don't listen to the opening anymore and didn't realize it now just says "Michelin starred chef Marcus..." instead of "3 Michelin starred chef Marcus...." I wonder what happened?! SPOILER ALERT THROUGH EPISODE 18!!!! Shocked Philippe and James went out! Totally Tom's to lose now, although Tommy is looking to pip him at the post! James can probably get a job with the Upstairs owner, who seemed to really vibe with him. (I could not really understand a word that guy said!) Chef's Table should be spectacular!

Agree with all comments, so, Andrea-wise I will just point out that the fall or bump-it or whatever they are called on the back of Andrea's head during the interview with the new detective gave her serious alien head, especially with the rest of her hair being so pressed down the way it usually is. I could not take my eyes off it. 👽🤣😇

Three out of four teams in the final four are so pleasant I would happy for any to win. Of course, with my luck, that can only mean.... 😬 If there is a hell, it will have AL on loop yelling "Come on, Dad!" But to be fair, he is an adult and if he was annoyed or pushed past his limits by it, he could certainly tell her that if she did not stop, he would not continue. That would probably shut her up. ... ...for a few minutes.

Glad they had them make a nice cake for the finale and not a big table spread with a bunch of bits and bobs. Dan was hoist by his own pitard, again. I guess the flavor of Matty's cake was good enough to eclipse Josh, but it also seemed like everybody just totally adored Matty and wanted him to win. Before the showstopper, they had Paul saying "of course flavor is most important". It stood out to me as something they inserted after the fact, so I knew they were preparing us for a surprise winner. I just wish they weren't quite so harsh about Josh's cake. They really picked it apart. Loved Noel joking to Alison about how she should announce the winner cuz this would probably be her last season. I'm sure they'll keep those two together for a good while.

Nothing about cakes smashed into plexiglass made me think "Willy Wonka." Too bad the bakers couldn't have made "Napoleons." PS. Gene Wilder will always be my Wonka!

Happy with the winner. Jen's was so over-scale, it would only work in the Jolly Green Giants house! I was laughing as the judges stood around it, cuz it made them look like miniature people.

So my Masterchef boyfriend lasted about as long as my real life boyfriends, but thank goodness my two side dishes (Tom and Philippe) survived! I have never seen anyone as smiley and nonchalant about being panned and eliminated as Tristan. ...And I do not think Marcus was enjoying Tristan's unrelentingly sunny "it's only a cooking competition" demeanor! 🤣 Marcus' attempt at fakeout criticism that turned into a compliment over Kasae's dessert taco left everyone blinking in mystification. Do not quit your day job, Marcus! 😁

Tash did not have the best day, poor thing. Her red eyes during technical judging made me want to hug her, but goodness, those apple slices on top of her tart were so big I could have plucked one off and made a snack of it. 😊 I do think it's the right final three, but am hoping the others are pipped at the post* by Josh. *Slang I've heard on UK shows. I can't believe Jen made it to the finale! I think the talent pool was a bit weaker this season. So many rough builds. Wish the one older guy with one arm had made it through, but people who had terrible builds kept winning the quick challenge. One of the gents better win!

Alexis' stank face when Molly said Stella has been a big comfort to her was a true Thanksgiving moment. ...Who invites someone they just met a couple weeks ago to their family only Thxgiving dinner. I guess they are fast-tracking Blaze/Christina. This Charlotte story can only be saved by a dymanic new Lulu waking up and taking part. A properly swarthy and dashing new Nik coming home would be cool, too, but I haven't been that nice this year, so Santa will probably thumbs down this request and give me more Michael.

When Jason has his full swagger going, he is the best dancer and you cannot take your eyes off him. He's had the only couple dances I have rewound and watched again. It could be argued that some of the ladies are more technically perfect or more consistent, and I do enjoy their dances, but they don't command my attention or get under my skin like Jason did with his dances this week.

I think Tristan might be my Masterchef boyfriend this year. He's quite sparkly. But very demure though. I might have to have an affair with either Tom or Philippe! 🤣

Having a hard time getting into football this season. So many injuries and QBs out. Being forced to watch all the Cardinal's games instead of better games. All my favorite QB cuties gone. What is a girl to do? I guess there is always rooting against Dallas and KC. Maybe I'll just randomly start rooting for the Jaguars or something.

Finally saw the first 2 episodes. Love the Baker Cam!! What can I say, I have just always really enjoyed watching bakers talk to a wall. And I felt like I really wasn't getting enough of the bakers talking from the bakers talking at their stations, talking with Jesse, talking in their talking heads, and talking in voice-over while they bake. Really hoping next season they will have cameras inside the ovens!

I've lost my source for viewing this program in the US, and am devestated!!!! It was my favorite program. 😢
