  1. I am thoroughly enjoying this season, most teams, and the longer episodes, but oh my goodness was it hard to look at all those poor fish writhing and trying to breath. I don't judge the people or their culture, but I had to look away. I also totally thought they were foreshadowing the brothers leaving, but then their story went on long enough that I figured it had entered into reverse psychology foreshadowing red herring. 😁
  2. Next week will be rough, losing two. I wonder what they would do if another baker fell ill for a week. They should get the same consideration to come back the following week, but they would not be able to keep that up. I wonder if there is some sort of official policy.
  3. I always find it odd that the brand new woman in the "widowers" life will think she knows him so much better than so many of the people around him. ...."Oh, don't look at those news articles accusing him of murder, that is just biased reporting!" I would not even get involved with a man whose wife JUST died of any cause! On the new reporter... I will reserve judgement for a couple episodes, but I was annoyed by the way she whispered her questions to the family of the deceased, like she was speaking to them at a funeral or something.
  4. So, at the end of her illustrious super spy career, a teenager is doing Anna in. Whatev. At this point I AM rooting for Charlotte/Victor. I mean, Anna pathetically trying to chat up her bodyguard and being afraid to be alone in her hotel room is just embarrassing. ...But not as embarrassing as Diane acting like she has "hand"* with Robert. If Spencer actually had a life, he wouldn't be so laser focused on Ace. He has way too much time on his hands so it's easy for him to obsess. He has become irrational and petulant. *TM George Constanza
  5. Nice to see Jay Rayner whom I love from "Masterchef: The Professionals" get his portrait done, although I don't think this group was as talented as last week's.
  6. Enjoying the new season, but the woman who teaches woodworking would drive me nuts if she was my instructor! 😁
  7. Attention Jay Rayner fans. He turned up as a sitter on the current season of Portrait Artist of the Year, episode 2. We learned he is also a Jazz musician on keyboards and does about 50 gigs a year. Two painters did quite nice portraits of him!
  8. Glad Valentin came clean to Laura, but not bringing Anna in is stupid. Why are they not discussing brain washing, since it is a well-known tactic of Victor's and Charlotte is acting out of character. Also, search her room for pete's sake! Alls I will say to Trina is: Grrrl, he ain't worth it.
  9. Portia is too thirsty. Girl, get a Good Vibrations catalog and let Curtis adjust. Glad Dante was put on leave. I mean, he shows up at the cliff, shoots Mason, then instead of waiting for local law enforcement and EMTs, or escorting the perp and the hostage to the hospital, or examining the scene, or having the hostage give an official statement... he TAKES THE HOSTAGE TO CARLY'S HOUSE to see Avery?! Where he sits and explains the entire event... TO CARLY?!! Dante, you are my kind of sexy, but you are losing me as a cop.
  10. Gleb has always been my eye candy, but I have to laugh cuz has there ever been a Disney night when he wasn't a handsome prince? ...come to think of it, there may have been one where he was a cat or lion or something ...and I was totally disappointed he wasn't a prince! 🤣 I was worried for Barry. Glad the audience kept him in. He is still so Greg Brady and seems to be having a great time.
  11. Can someone tell me what "blue raspberry" tastes like. ...is that a real thing? I also wish they would mix it up with some "cute" black cats, ghosts, and gobblins and such. The violent gut stuff is okay, but too many of the bakes are splashed with so much blood I can hardly see them!
  12. Okay first, just to lighten the mood, as soon as Cody walked in, alls I could think was... Also, he had more foundation and blush on than Sasha! As for the horrors. Maybe, MAYBE there is a wee bit of hope that Michael will see how happy everyone is, and how it is GOOD FOR HIS WIFE to be getting to know her mother, and it is GOOD FOR HIS SON to love his grandma, and it is GOOD FOR HIS FATHER to be happy with his wife, and he will decide that it is more important to do what is best for them, than it is for him to be his usual petulant self-righteous mob-baby hypocrite ass. ... ... oh who am I kidding. 😒
  13. I feel for the fact that Jade Janks was betrayed by the man she saw as a father, but what a total fucking idiot. Lady, when not one, BUT TWO, "fixers" tell you no way in hell are they getting involved with the insanity you've got going on, maybe you should rethink it! This episode is right at the top of "most astonished reaction" by someone found guilty. She totally thought she was sympathetic or convincing enough to get away with it. Her lawyers should have prepared her for a possible guilty verdict, given that her story was ridiculous, the evidence was strong, and she looked guilty as hell.
  14. I found the husband off-putting, also. He seemed more upset that he "failed as a man" than that his wife was dead. ..um, it's not about you, buddy! He also talked about how she was so beautiful when she was younger, but now snored and was built like a tank. He also mentioned he was a man, so was a dog, but just looked but didn't touch other women. Ew. I get the feeling the spark might have gone out of their marriage. The boyfriend wanting to steal guns makes sense since he had just been busted for stealing guns. Now for the important part: I would like to start a gofundme for Andrea Canning to get a makeover. Or actually, a makeunder. If she would just lay off the pink lipstick, botox, and super dark brow tint that makes her look like Spock about say something is "fascinating," she would look so much better!
  15. Bummer the lady got bit by her cat. I noticed she was wearing a bandage after that incident. I was torn as to my favorite between the winner and the one with the blue tones that the older gentlemen picked. I did not think the other one deserved to be on the short list. Love this show!

    Tennis Thread

I am watching the Asian tournaments. I swear every time I turn on Tennis Channel Kudermetova is playing. 🤣 Dimitrov has been ON FIRE, but sadly ran out of steam finally. Feel bad for the guy. Alcaraz has lost his way a bit. I enjoy the Asian crowds, as they are so respectful, polite and quiet.
  17. So, two queens left the original line up and now there's been two non-elims. Hopefully that is the end of that.
  18. I thought Ashlee was an older lady, too! She did okay but, um, let's just say I would not call any of those "showpieces" showpieces! I was rooting for Mike and would have liked to see a bit of the judges' deliberation about who should be the winner and why. I do think the first couple seasons of this show might have been better. The blond judge lady's voice is so melifulous. It's the tone or something. I find it so very soothing. 😴💤
  19. Cyrus is correct. It's absurd the way Sonny is admired and respected by otherwise normal, law abiding citizens, including the Mayor, law enforcement and the WSB. I guess Cyrus will be even more evil-er now and will have to end up dead or gone. I was hoping they might make him more of a gray character, since he is a good actor. OMG, CD's face when looking at Nina in those last few scenes. 🤣 I'm sure he was going for a glare of scorn, derision and hatred, but it was just his usual "ugh I just stepped in some dog poo" jaw grinding method acting.
  20. I do feel they factored previous performance into the decision on who would go. Goodness, Prue with her beaver sauciness with now Paul with his ball talk. They are giving Noel a run for his money. In that regard, glad the new host is having a calming influence on Noel, as I am finding him more enjoyable again.
  21. Cannot stand watching fooking hypocrite Michael all warm, happy and beaming at his pappy, like he didn't just spent God knows how long planning to destroy Sonny and only stopped when Carly talked him out of it. How about if THAT comes out at the wedding instead of Nina's secret. Or how about Michael utilizes a little something super foreign to him called self-reflection and decides not to destroy Nina since he also went down a path of vengence and was lucky not to get found out. I jest of course. It will be all self-righteous rage at Nina.
  22. I am officially over the "woman collapses to the floor and man spins her around and hoists her back up"* move! *Not the technical name of this spin.
  23. I will always watch the UK version cuz I think Graham Norton and Alan Carr are hilarious. Especially off the cuff. I see them on other UK shows and their wit rarely disappoints. Graham's aside about how the problem with the Polish queen's fish funeral presentation... "and with all funerals, is that they are kind of one note." Had me and Ru laughing. UK also the most interesting guest judges. I am really liking Kate Butch. Why was this mysterious 11th queen let go?!
  24. I was thinking he must have dementia or something to do that at his age, not having anything on his record, and after 52 years of marriage! But he went into the mental facility and they must have checked him out. I guess he was a stone cold sociopath in hiding. He was quite the actor playing "dithering old guy" with the cops, but his story was absurd and thank goodness they didn't buy it. Hard to believe he was able to move the body by himself.
  25. Tim has watched too much Cobra Kai and thinks his "master" nonsense applies to the rest of the world. Sadly, a lot of ladies and some impressionable students helped build his ego. His ego maniacal statement to the judge was delusional. If I was Nicki, I would never feel safe again, either.
