I wouldn’t be surprise if he starts to look more and more like Nathan in the next year with how he looks now. I wouldn’t be surprised, or at least as surprised if these two ended up divorced out of the Bates couples.

And what kind of parent let’s their 6 year old go swimming in the ocean that far away without a life jacket because he begged her to? Even with one, I’d be in the water with an arms length. This was so hard to watch; I had to split it over two nights.

I have no idea how old this photo is but I’m thinking she wasn’t pretty or popular and now she thinks she’s hot with her plastic surgery or whatever she’s got going on and she’s making up for a disappointing high school experience. Either way, she’s pathetic.

I just can’t with this woman. She is so demented. I admired her chutzpah for a long time, but she fails big time as a mother.

This is so crazy. I used to watch her on YouTube when I was going through a searching phase in my life but after awhile, it just started to get weirder than I could stand, and I quit altogether. I think she’s fake and harmful and her defensiveness in a clear sign that she isn’t real. She has an immense amount of rage in her and it’s all about money. So, I was pretty intrigued when I saw this dock series was being made, because I had put her out of my mind. I’ve seen two episodes so far and I remember her promoting those astral drawings or whatever and thinking they were pretty hokey.

I thought this was very well done and quite illuminating into the deep underbelly of the Mormon church. The history lesson approach felt a bit pedantic and I would have preferred a different approach that didn’t take me out the action into a parenthetical aside every time a historical footnote needed to be made. It’s also difficult to transition into exposition without it sounding stilted. I wouldn’t be surprised if this is nominated for an Emmy or Golden Globe or whatever award agency this belongs in. Andrew Garfield blew me away with his depiction of a man, struggling with challenging new information and realizing blind faith was propagating the continued evil that exists in religion practices, unchecked and unexamined. I would have laughed if REM’s “Losing my Religion” started playing somewhere along the line. I thought Pyre and his wife reconciling without some kind of segue into it was awkward. I was surprised how strong a hold the church had on her that she would take the kids and marry another man who would bring the girls up as devout Mormons, and turn her back on him, though I shouldn’t have been.

Alyssa thought she’d try to be cute and break the ice with her “I’m a good person” hoody and then nobody commented on it. Nice try Yep, her chin is still there, front and center and production made sure to give us a nice, long shot at it! If she’d go off on Ryan, a guy she’d actually liked on her first date with him, can you imagine what kind of shrew she’d be if anyone actually stayed with that gorgon?

That looks like a nuclear level dumpster fire right there. Blake should fit in nicely.

Alyssa saying she was betrayed was the funniest thing ever. Ryan doesn’t owe you anything. She can’t even hold it together one date without her inner bitch showing up to ruin things. Ryan dodged a bullet. He was like WTF? I spent money on a plane trip for this? I don’t see Olivia and Chris working out. She’s such a little priss to me with no joie de vivre. New Orleans is wasted on her. Mark was looking good and nice to see him having fun on the date. She was so normal, I wanted them to recruit her to be on the show. Lindsey must have gotten a few therapy sessions under he belt before coming back. She said all the right things, but like Alyssa, she’ll always be a bitch. I hope she doesn’t bring anyone else into her misery ever again.

Being able to capitalize on your illness is what they’d call a “blessing in disguise”.

I’m enjoying the series so far and signed up for Disney plus, specifically to watch this (oh, and Hamilton!) but I’m not loving Little Leía like I hoped I would. I have found this for most of Lucas’ younger role casting in general, including Natalie Portman though. She looks the part, if the part we’re five years old, but watching her run like a toddler and evade grown men, one, a Jedi, who even had his hand on her arm and she still managed to lose him, took me out of the scenes and felt comedic like something you’d see on Disney Kids. Many of her lines sounded like recitation and very inorganic like she was having to rush through them to make sure she got it. It’s not going to ruin the series for me but it does detract from the scenes to me. Obviously my mileage varied from just about everyone though. Reva feels like a caricature at this point and I hope there is more flushing out her character so it doesn’t feel she’s like just a gun for hire. I think there will be, so I’m not too worried about it. I loved her in Queen’s Gambit. I’m here for Ben/Obiwan Kenobi and the Anakin dunk tank scene. Ewan Macgregor is masterful in this role.

Oh, they’ll be back on as BIP resident in chief married couple, making numerous appearances to show off their status as an engaged couple. I just hope they don’t get married on the show.

I was thinking the same thing but they’ve invested their lives telling themselves this. I don’t understand why their cousin just got in the trunk willingly and didn’t try to intervene. You’d think the three of them could have put up some kind of a fight.

I’d love to see a rematch with past contestants being matched with each other since there is a ready made dating pool available there and they’d have more to go on with each other with the past experience of the show. Another show I’d like if is the experts from MAFS Australia would swap with the the US and see how they handle the couples even though the format isn’t quite the same. It’s getting a little old especially with how many they do a year.

As far as looks go, I think Ryan and Chris are on the same playing field to me. YMMV

I could totally see her freezing her eggs or FF has his sperm stockpiled in the Reber’s deep freeze somewhere. Anyway, I’m very pleased with the sentence. It could have been a lot less.
