  1. Just click on the link -- I didn't have to do anything besides read. But it doesn't say anything we haven't already heard about her a thousand times already. The comments are kind of fun, though.
  2. Naw, that wouldn't make sense. Don't forget they let her make the announcement -- her announcement said it was her idea to leave.
  3. In hearing about Dorinda's relationship with John, I remember hearing that she received "forgotten" designer pieces from the cleaners. But if you read some of the Yelp reviews in the link posted upthread, there were so many posts by people who tell of dropping off their beautiful garments never to see them again, and whose follow-ups were ignored. Reading them made it much easier to understand how Madame Paulette's with the fabulous reputation is sinking into the mire.
  4. Yes - perfect time to get the apartment she owns remodeled while she's living in the freebee. Except it looked far from done when we saw it a few weeks back which of course is actually a few months back. With dependability of contractors always in issue, it wouldn't surprise me if her apartment is in mostly the same condition today. And she might be having to pay for two apartments if the freebee deal gets rescinded and she has to start paying rent for the freebee in addition to the costs of keeping the one being remodeled. It sounds like a precarious position to be in. Not to even mention the BSM project. I'm thinking she's possibly in debt for that one. Flood damage is such a bitch to repair properly, and in most cases your homeowner policy doesn't cover it. If she had flood insurance, perhaps insurance paid for some of it, but knowing how insurance companies like to operate, springing tricks like deductibles, exclusions and "replacement value" versus new construction, I wouldn't doubt Dorinda had to pay for a lot of the BSM repairs out of her own pocket. Now with losing her fancy RHONY job and Dorinda not being emotionally stable, maybe suicide watch wouldn't be a bad idea.
  5. Well that's disappointing. Because they still got it wrong. The saying goes: Believe none of what you hear, and half of what you see.
  6. It's as if some women haven't ever looked at themselves, and think you just refer to everything there as "the vagina" which of course is wildly inaccurate. More than likely, Leah's tattoo is on her mons pubis. NOW do you know where your tattoo is, Leah?? I cannot imagine anyone having their inner -- ouch -- labia tattooed. And I'm thinking it would be difficult to tattoo the outer labia and be hardly visible unless it were shaved (waxed?) and the legs were spread. NO WAY it's in her vagina (can you imagine how difficult tattooing THERE would be?). Know your genitalia, ladies!
  7. So much for the why the "rich fat Armenian" is of no further use to her. No wonder Dorinda is off the rails that he borrowed money from co-workers she hates and then filed for Chapter 11 (re-organization of business -- not belly-up which would be Chapter 13). I wouldn't surprise me to hear that in recent years Dorinda has blown through a shitload of cash.
  8. I have to hand it to you: This has to be the funnies thing about HWs that I've read in months!! Take a bow, film noire!
  9. The clothes and hair: They all wore black! Tinsley - GORGEOUS as always. Her gown is to die for and she looks fabulous in it. Ramona - liked her hair, looked nicely slim in that dress. Leah - kind of disappointed that she re-wore that outfit from Ramona's birthday party, and no surprises with her hair. She wore it the same style she almost always does which looks super good on her. Sonja - hair was nondescript and the dress reminded me of the Star Trek logo blown up and bedazzled. Not impressed. Dorinda - hair looked the way I expected, same pave-sequins style as usual. The dress looked great. I just hate her, though so moving on. Luann - love her hair that style, she looked her same classic chic, loved the sparkly straps on her dress. Was it Jovani?? Driving Andy out of his mind at the start was one of my favorite moments (he deserves it). It was a little frustrating that the reunion focused way too much on Leah. Dorinda as usual had to start harassing from the beginning, and it was obvious she had decided to make Ramona the target for her venom. After thinking about it, I believe it's possible that Dorinda kept the gloves off Tinsley because she was told to lay off her. I'm glad Ramona just sat there mirroring Dorinda's schtick, whatever she was doing, hand clapping, putting on a phony voice, whatever it took to let Dorinda know she wasn't getting under her skin. I loved Ramona's "Go to church!" in response to Dorinda saying Ramona had called Leah a whore. With the question about Dorinda's drinking, I wasn't surprised she would rather criticize and insult Ramona than address it. And when is Dorinda ever NOT going through a lot? She goes through so much more than everyone else does in their lives, right? So she's earned the right to be an asshole whenever she feels bad. She sounded like a mob hitman threatening to ice someone in that phone conversation with John. Now that I think about it, Dorinda ALWAYS talks like a mob hitman. Gawd what did John ever see in her? Sonja just sucks balls. She wasn't sloppy drunk, it was because of a diuretic? Puh-lease!! I doubt anyone watching was stupid enough to buy that story. She was showing off her face and neck lift, but I think she wasted her money. Sitting next to Tinsley and Lu, Sonja still looks rough. Then Sonja tried mightily to pretend to be supportive of Tinsley on camera while still staying true to her buddy Dorinda in disdaining Tinsley and her relationship. Nice going, Sonja -- you're such a bitch. We hardly got a look at Tinsley's ring -- was it pear shape or oval? I tried to stop the recording, but just could not get a good look. I applauded when Tinsley refused to give Dorinda a scintilla of her focus when she was explaining leaving NY for Chicago and Scott's feelings about the show. She also showed the ultimate in class by saying "my friend Dorinda" when Martin asked who she was having trouble with. I was happy that Ramona and Lu both said they'd quit the show for marriage. MOST IRONIC STATEMENT IN PART 1 OF THE REUNION: Dorinda saying: "I don't know if Tinsley has the ability to open up and be honest." It would be funny if it wasn't so twisted.
  10. Quoted from the above link: "The reunion then aired some previously unseen footage from Season 11 of RHONY in which Dorinda appears to be talking to John on the phone during the ladies' trip to Miami as Sonja Morgan looks on. "I don't want you to talk to Scott. He is not your friend," Dorinda said. "So when I say to you don't do something, you better f--king well listen." Who the hell does this bitch think she is anyway? Tinsley should have replied that Dorinda can eat shit and die, but of course that's not Tinsley's style.
  11. Andy's just making promises that he knows he'll never have to keep. Dorinda would rather commit hari-kari than admit she fucked up. I think in Dorinda's mind, she's 100% right at all times and has no problem whatsoever with alcohol.
  12. And why exactly would reaching out to Garcelle be Kyle's responsibility? Charities have people whose job is to do just that, and my guess is that the charity had sent notice to whatever contact info Garcelle gave that it hadn't been paid. Likely more than once. How's that Kyle's bad?
  13. Garcelle accused Kyle of being "full of shit" when she said Garcelle hadn't paid her charity pledge. Pretty nasty thing to say when she truly didn't know whether or not it had been paid.
  14. Last season on camera Denise knocked back lots of tequila shots, so there's also that I'm sure.
  15. I don't know about other folks, but if I've pledged 5 Gs to some organization, I'd have to transfer the amount from my savings and I'd damn sure know whether or not it had been done.
  16. I think Garcelle was getting back what she was putting out there. Her claim that Kyle ignored her was completely bogus, and her nasty crack at Kyle from the podium at the charity event was unjustified and a bad look for a newbie.
  17. I don't understand injecting race into the issue. Kyle obviously has the facts that one of her cast mates made a pledge at her charity event that had not yet been honored. I doubt Kyle has anything to do with collecting the pledges made that day, and probably just saw it as a name on a list. As we saw, Garcelle wasn't really sure whether or not she had paid and said she sent an email to her business manager to find out. From what I understand, most charities are run in a similar basic fashion. In order to have a bid paddle, you have to provide contact information. A list is kept of who has pledged and the amount. When the amount isn't paid by a certain date, a reminder sent by the charity goes out to the contact information provided. I doubt that the charity leaves it at a first contact and doesn't follow up, so there should have been some sort of heads up taken by whatever contact info Garcelle gave. Not saying it was her fault for not paying, but certainly she must have signed something giving her word it would be paid by a certain date and thus her responsibility to maintain her good name by paying according to her promise.
  18. I knew the reunion would be a re-play of what's been happening all season, which I'm no big Denise fan but I'm tired of the whole thing now. I think Garcelle revealed a blind spot in her thinking when she made the statement that having to teach her sons about how to handle a police traffic stop was something other races don't do. I suppose it's easy to feel like it's only you, but in fact white people teach this to their kids too. My dad taught me (white) when I started driving that the police have a hard job to do and are under pressure by the very nature of their work. He told me it was important not to move in ways that would provoke suspicion and to follow their instructions immediately. I taught my sons the same thing. I told them right out that the police can kill you and if they view you as a threat they will. Not saying it's right, I'm saying I want my loved ones to be very careful and know how to avoid a problem. It's not just a black thing.
  19. I think it was Leah who was the millioinaire looking to be matched up. Patti Stanger, a self-proclaimed Third Generation Matchmaker, formed The Millionaire Club. She interviews the member to find out their preferences. Her recruiters go out and about looking for desirable singles to match with the millionaires. Then Patti throws a mixer party and the millionaire chooses two to have a mini-date with, and ultimately they choose the one they want for their master date. It was a kind of fun show. Part of the fun was Patti interviewing the hopefuls and giving straight from the shoulder advice and pointers to the millionaires and hopefuls, all in an effort to produce a match, which sometimes did happen. Or at least looked like it had the potential to go the distance.
  20. I can't imagine a location next to a parking garage would be a bad thing in NYC. Sonja not being able to unload such a desirable property that I assume is a rarity on the NYC market makes me think the reason it doesn't sell is because it's overpriced for the terrible condition it's in. Having new carpet installed is like re-arranging the deck chairs on the Titanic. Old man Morgan probably stuck her with it in the divorce because he knew it would cost half its value to do a proper remodel/restoration.
  21. Dorinda's family has known for a long time who she is. They're probably just glad someone else is the target.
  22. For all the renovation stuff Dorinda has had done this year, she doesn't recognize a pre-cut push out from an electrical switch/outlet box? .
  23. This is exactly the nasty stupid ridiculous dumb shit that Dorinda does time and again that makes me hate her exponentially, and probably why everyone around her who has to deal with it is why she finally got her ass kicked off the show. It's so lowdown mean and shitty of her when she could have just kept her mouth shut and not lifted her glass. But NO - she has to make a big fucking screaming foaming-at-the-mouth scene. Who does she think likes seeing such pure hatefulness episode after episode? So glad I never again have to see the ugliness that is Dorinda ruining my show.
