  1. It wouldn't surprise me that Ramona has a lot tucked away, and even so is exploring a new occupation. One doesn't want to begin spending their nest egg at too young an age. She still has some earning years ahead before having to retire. And like another poster said above, it gives her something to do with her time plus she's not 100% dependent on Bravo for income. She has a lot of contacts so I think she'll probably do well obtaining listings and selling real estate.
  2. Well - that, and she's a decade and a half younger than he is.
  3. During last week's episode, in the scene where Gina is talking to her attorney, she said Matt has been going to anger management classes and that she believed it has made a big difference in him. People make mistakes, and I understand the DV incident was just that -- one incident, not a pattern. So I can understand why Gina wants to make nice and keep things civil so her children can enjoy the company of both parents whenever possible. Also, it was big of Gina to invite his girlfriend.
  4. Matt would probably not have been arrested but for Gina's visible facial injuries and other bruises at the time police responded to the DV call.
  5. Well, I believe Sophie knows her mother very well, and she has been along for the entire ride so far of Shannon's journey investing every penny she's worth to shill marginal low calorie meals and lemon-based dietary supplements, so maybe she's on to something there with knowing the new boyfriend will have to be psychologist in chief as well as financial supporter. Not to even mention she's pissing away thousands every month renting that huge, expensive house. I mean, how much longer will it be before Shannon has run through everything she has and is completely broke?
  6. I had to laugh at Emily's TH where she gleefully observes that she's relieved to not be the one crying and throwing things this time, and was happy to pass the torch. Poor Brauny - she looked like one exposed raw nerve during the party and afterward. It's got to suck. She could sure use a doctor's help, no foolin'. I cracked up, though, when Kelly sat down next to Brauny on the little couch outside at the party. I get the feeling that there was a significant amount of conversation edited from the exchange between Kelly and Brauny that ended with Kelly saying "shake it off" and both of them laughing. I got a kick out of Sean and Brauny on their walk home from the party, when Brauny says "Kelly was being real on the couch -- she wasn't being kind, she was being honest. But I'll take that." I love seeing Kelly's new house. I enjoyed the Mezuza hanging scene. Being married to a Jewish man, there are a lot of new things she'll be learning. I was surprised to hear her say she learned how to make matzo ball soup and potato latkes. All the scenes from the party that didn't include Brauny looked like everyone was able to get past the earlier dust-up and have a good time. Shannon's dad, the randy old coot, looks good for 90. The fans have been dying to see more scenes like the girls being tipsy, laughing and doing things like poking good natured fun at Shannon's huge portrait in the gym, and Gina and Emily lounging in the big soaker bathtub. I have to give Brauny credit - girl knows how to own her bad behavior and make a proper apology. Witnessing the several awkward exchanges between her and her kids on this episode alone, it looks to me that she has a long way to go to get up to speed on her Mom game. What is keeping sad-gate alive, is Brauny's insistence that she's right about what Shannon said without considering the possibility she misinterpreted what she heard. I believe Shannon is more justified in refusing to back down over being called a liar. I understand the frustration of the fans who are losing interest in the HW shows not so much because of the interactions of the cast, but that these thin story lines are dragged out to absurd lengths and bog down everything when there are parties like Shannon's housewarming that can work to help the show/story lines keep moving along.
  7. Brauny: Hey uh, Lemonade Boy, could you get my husband? Lemonade Boy: Okay.
  8. Misslindsey, I'll sit with you. I think Gina has talked sense most of the time and I respect the fact that she picked herself up and got her shit together after, as she termed it, "the worst thing that's ever happened to me".
  9. Shannon has really gotten wound up tight over this piddling issue of Brauny saying she called Gina's townhouse "sad". I am liking her boyfriend after seeing him in action, how attentive he is when she's talking, sharing his observations about what she's said and yet not telling her what to do or think. Seems like a grounded, intelligent guy and how did she get so lucky? She should count her blessings and stop giving life to the stupid ravings of Brauny by considering the source. I mean, why even GAF what Brauny thinks or says? Shannon can maintain forever that she never said it without digging in her heels and getting herself all worked up over it, which is what makes me think the whole thing is probably producer driven.
  10. Not a Brauny fan either, but I find myself thinking the same thing. Her trying to white-knuckle this all on her own must be hell. I wish the show would have given Brauny the directive to check in to an inpatient clinic, drastically reduce the time she has to be on camera, and maybe change her platform on the show to one or two segments each episode highlighting and catching up with her progress until she can be back on the show as a regular. It was almost painful to see the 17-year old daughter and the teenage son with real problems themselves. The daughter looked like she's been ill or something with those obvious dark circles around her eyes. The son is obviously embarking on a lifestyle that will require some mature coping skills. Plus if he's going to dress as a woman then he needs some intensive coaching on how to move like one or he's just going to look like a clown.
  11. Kelly and Mike needled each other to death constantly and could never seem to give it a rest. I believe it was Kelly who called it quits but I could be wrong about that. She was usually the worse offender of the two.
  12. Thank you for pointing these things out -- seems like those facts get lost in all the snipes going back and forth.
  13. LOL - many of those little boutiques in Newport and Corona del Mar don't stock sizes larger than a 6. My daughter and I went window shopping one day and stepped into one place where the only sizes there were 0-4. After leaving, we both wondered if there were really that many women size 0-4 shopping there, or if it was some kind of money laundering front (we make each other laugh being cynical like that).
  14. I think as to Gina, because Brauny wants to make up with her she extended the invitation to go to AA together. At Shannon's housewarming, after Brauny told Gina she was 30-days sober, Gina said "well I'm 3 days sober" or something similar. Plus not long before filming started, Gina was charged with a DUI and it's possible part of her sentence included attending a certain number of AA meetings.
  15. It's one thing to have hubby in on her girl-on-girl events, but him hustling his own action crossed the line. Or maybe because she didn't dig that text from him to Gina was being shown around and discussed. I know I would be disgruntled as hell if any man of mine sent a text like that to another woman.
  16. I laughed when Kelly said that. It's typical Kelly -- and Dad looked like he was totally enjoying her there paying rapt attention to him with her arm around his shoulders. I thought it was one of the more fun moments of this episode.
  17. I look at the text this way: If Sean's only concern was whether or not Gina got home all right, maybe he could have used language saying that in the text? Instead, he says (paraphrasing) "my wife is asleep now that I got her back to the condo (winky emoji); it was fun spending time with you (smiley emoji)". To me, the subtext seemed pretty obvious he was angling for an invitation. How was it only about checking up on her safety when not one word about getting home safe was even mentioned?
  18. She never did get the $30K a month. The judge ordered it as temporary support until the issues could be ironed out, but instead Shannon said she would settle for $22K per month, I think just to save him from having any more konniption fits.
  19. In the photo of the two products, they both say "dietary supplement" on the label.
  20. When Gina showed the actual text, it was pretty obvious to me that Sean was putting out the bait by mentioning the wife is asleep. Not buying that it was just a friendly gesture making sure Gina got home all right. He was looking to score -- no doubt in my mind.
