If the baby is born when due, that's 15 months apart. Kolter (#2) was born early so maybe closer to 14 months.

We've talked about this with Derick, but I think it's fine to use parent's spouse versus step-parent. Step-parent usually implies someone who raised you and is a parent in your life. It's common for people whose parents remarried as adults to refer to them as their parent's spouse. One of my friends wrote a beautiful tribute to her father's wife, but he had remarried after she was out of the house. That being said I hope his wife's grandchildren didn't give him COVID.

Yes, but heart problems don't cause convenient infertility. It shows they can wait two years.

Well there was 2 year gap between the last two pregnancies...

Sounds like Joe and Kendra will grow into being the new JB and Michelle!

I predicted way back when they announced the podcast that I thought they would stop podcasting after their second child was born. I could not see these two making it. Tons of people have a podcast and it's incredibly competitive world. This is not surprising to me in the least. To be fair, Jeremy should be concentrating on school. Now why the pictures aren't coming out I have no idea. I hope they're all right.

I'm aware of all this, but I'm not sure what you're getting at. If you mean he's more cultish or as cultish as David Waller, then I disagree. This stuff isn't good, but it doesn't go on his resume. Your parents and in-laws aren't look at when you're hired for a job. David is older and almost his entire resume includes working at IBLP, which is a cult. He was very publicly involved with them. IBLP is on the decline, partly due to the accusations surrounding Gothard. Ben may a crazy ties, but none of them are professional.

Many churches have multiple pastors on the payroll. Ben is not the head pastor, but I believe he is working for the church. It could be an interim position where they try him out. However I think I read that he is officially with the church, but the church has a few pastors and he's the newest hire/bottom rung. Either way it's good for him to be working towards something and getting his foot in the door. Most denominations you have to work your way up to senior pastor. I believe the priests used to that, but now there's a shortage of priests. I think Ben has more of education than David Waller and less of formal connection to a cult and that may help in the long term.

She's never talked much about her religious beliefs, especially the hate ones. Most fundies seem snobby to me. They're holier than thou, their family is unique and precious unlike everyone else's, etc. Anna has some of that even with how her life is going. -
God Help Us, Breast Milk Jewelry has it's own Wikipedia page.

She's 40-something. I agree I would totally be judging if she were a man with young women. -

He seems to be there as much as Jessa's kids. -
I was thinking about giving someone a second chance and then we had a fight. I kind of started it, but I wanted him to admit he was wrong about he had said in the past that still pisses me off. It's like trying to talk Derick Dillard. I don't need this person in my life. He's blocked again and hopefully I'll be able to avoid them when seeing mutual friends. Honestly it makes want to see less of the people we know.

Part of that is age. Josh is 30 something. A large part of his siblings are still at least a decade younger than him. -
They look like two women to me somehow.

It's still probably too soon. Usually if women have least 6 months between pregnancies. Her body is probably still recovering, especially after 3 pregnancies. -

I would think Jana and Jed! might the most disapproving. I think it's sick James can't visit his sister without Daddy's permission. He's 19.5 years old. JB and Michelle are sick controlling parents.
