I always got the impression Jessa was happy to have mold house since it would be easier to clean. This palace will be very hard to clean. It would make sense to have at least 2 families to deal with cleaning. It wouldn't surprise me if JB and Michelle moved in themselves and gave their house to someone like Jessa? I don't see them giving it to someone who doesn't have kids yet, but we'll see.

I don't know if Joy wanted that photo shared. It isn't her/their account. She obviously didn't take those pictures. Since it looks like the interview, possibly TLC took those photos? It looks awkward to me. He is holding her. I scrolled through the rest. Why is that picture/pictures tagged #goals?

Most of the weddings I've been to, the bride and groom usually handle the bulk of the wedding costs themselves. The parents give them a set amount of money and everything else is their responsibility.

I would think there would be some legal consequences if someone pretended to be a midwife and wasn't. (not talking about Jill) maybe medical fraud, but not for the patient. That being said I'm not sure anything is wrong. It could be something minor.

Mustard sweaters were a trend (or maybe they still are). Since people started pointing out the mustard sweaters, I've seen them on other people and in stores. I'm sure the Duggars didn't orginate the trend. I think it's on-trend color (and has been for a while). Since most of their clothes weren't or aren't trendy, they love wearing something they think is cool and stylish. (Especially since Jessa seems to have it worn the most.)

Somone did a long post on the Jinger thread about Anna and her home births. One of things the poster said is Anna had the baby at home so they could film it. Michelle had had Jordyn less than a year before in a hospital and it was filmed for TLC. She had most of the babies born while they were filming shows and specials at hospital and filmed. Josie's birth wasn't filmed because it was a c-section, although they did film at the hospital.

Daphne is married and pregnant so it probably seems normal to them. But according to wikipedia she isn't due until winter. It's her third child in 4 years.

She is 18 and lives at home, so it's hard to believe her mother didn't help at least pick out the clothes. It's possible the heat wrinkled the shirt. Then again Joe is in jeans and a rather casual outfit. If she were any nicer dressed, she would be better dressed than him by a mile. So maybe someone told her that to wear a casual outfit and nothing too formal. Also tucking in your shirt may be a generational thing. I rarely tuck mine in. In the fundie world, untucked may be the norm since there are so many kids nobody notices how many of them have tucked or untucked shirts.

I had a story to share with you guys. I was on the highway when I saw a car with strange bumper stickers. One of them said LOSER (in big letters with maybe a comic sans font) and underneath it said Luke 9:24 (there may have been a cross, too). I'm still confused about what I it meant. I thought someone here might be able to explain it.

I think it's a fundie requirement (since they all have so many kids) to get the cheapest footwear possible. Joe's jeans have defrauding details like brown embroidery on the butt pockets and those faded streaks near the top. (Personally I'm none too picky about clothes, but I try to avoid faded streaks like Joe's pants.) Considering her father is the pastor of their church, it's no surprise she's has a lot of the Duggar rules down.

Re: the interviews and the show in general there are some people have a view of Jon that most of his interviews had political heavy hitters who he "eviscerated" or intellectuals like Doris Kearns Goodwin whose books he read (at least some of it) and was able to hold his own. (Not saying this is true or untrue, but I think it's a real perception.) So Trevor came in and at first wanted to make the show more light-hearted and less political, but he got serious blow-back from that. Now he tries to get people who are considered more "serious" guests. He also seems to host people who working to ameliorate the country during this administration. I'm not too worried about this show. It's sad @Midnight is leaving. The field for the Emmies is big. (I think Seth Myers will get more recognition next year.)

I watched that season, and I didn't particularly remember him (Andrew) in that light. He was okay. I also think his brother was somehow connected to show and that's why they picked him.

The title of this thread says season 4 and the promo is for season 3? I'm confused.

I agree that it was really awkward watching Dean and his dad talk and I don't why the conversation couldn't have waited ... until after television. I also seem to remember a hometown date or two from some past season where they went to the contestant's current home (not where they grew up) and just walked around the city and went back to contestant's apartment. It would have made more sense than going to his home. On Rachel's front I liked how much she remembered and was able to describe what she liked to the families. I thought she made good impressions. No idea who the final rose is going to, but I thought her strongest connections were with Bryan and Eric.

Kendra is 18 and her sister is younger, most likely 16. It's too young imo and ymmv.

I've never heard you can't wear the same color as the bridemaids. I usually don't know what color they're wearing until I get there.

I think that's true of a lot of celebrities and particularly reality stars seem to want attention all the time. That they would be looking for an audience no matter what happens, and they do silly things for attention.
