I'd never seen the necklace before, but after searching for 3 seconds on the web, there's a plethora of necklaces options similiar/just like it. Probably popular in their circles. It's not common among people I know to get professional photos taken while pregnant.

The Maxwells wouldn't take a family photo with a woman in jeans. -

I think it's going to be Si and Lauren, followed by John David and Abbie Grace, and then it's Jana and .... (Although I hope Jana doesn't get married unless she wants to. ) -

There's a big difference between Abbie Burnett and Whitney Bates. Whitney doesn't seem to have been raised IBLP/ATI and Abbie definitely grew up ATI/IBLP. (IBLP is the Institute of Basic Living Principles, a independent Christian supplement founded by ex-leader Bill Gothard and ATI is the Advanced Training Institute which the homeschooling branch of IBLP.) It would be nice if John David and Abbie drifted mainstream, but it probably won't happen at least not right away. -

They can "side-hug" until they're engaged and then they can hold hands. Makes no sense to me. I mean side hug means you get to touch the torso which is usually more defrauding than the hand. -

FJ says that her family used to have a blog called 10 Burnetts (2 parents plus 8 kids). They were fundies who homeschooled and were big into ATI. (ATI is the Advanced Training Institute, the homeschooling branch of IBLP.) -

Based on things JB has said, I believed JB that he wanted all of his kids to marry. I also believed they would need a new courtship once Josiah got married. I had assumed it would be one of the -iah twins and a teen girl. Good for JD! Good for him being older and finding a girl close in age! Good for him that she is an LPN! I wish them both many years of happiness! -
I wondered if Jill was in the wedding party, because someone said Derick was. Neither of them look like they were in the wedding party. I think probably all the groommans wore outfits similiar to Dan (grey suit with a purple bow tie matching the bridesmaids' dresses).

The garter toss wasn't done at a lot of the weddings my older friends and family was going to decades ago. There is a lot of creepy innuendo surrounding it. Also depending on who caught the bouquet the ceremony the garter toss could be awkward, uncomfortable, etc. Without the garter toss (or football toss), the bouquet toss ends up looking like a relic about the shaming of unmarried women. And when you read about the origins, it has the same innuendo as garter toss. I agree with you about the bridal party being a cast of thousands. I wonder if Jill was a bridesmaid or if Derick was asked to even the numbers.
-
Many people I know consider the garter ceremony too risque for them and most of the couples I've seen get married have decided to skip even the bouquet toss and certainly the garter toss. I wonder if they did the garter ceremony that follows the toss and how Jill reacted to that. These customs are traditional, but are rumored to have creepy origins. I can understand why people skip them.

Josh & Anna Smuggar: A Series of Unfortunate Events

Maybe because it's a landmark birthday. Happy 30th Birthday Anna! I agree though; something's up. I thought they were planning his comeback tour and instead we've barely heard from him. -
The photo of JB & Michelle, Joe, the baby & Kendra, and her parents looks whoever took the picture used a filter.

I heard about the engagement. I notice neither Tori and Bobby or Josie and Kelton has their own thread. @Loves2Dance "ready to run" is an interesting thread. "Ready to Run" doesn't sound like she's ready to get married. More like run away from it all. I think her parents would prefer her married with kids to working (and possibly becoming independent) so they're probably thrilled.

I don't buy most of this, except that.... I do think JB wants Jana to marry... so maybe this Brandon is the long awaited courtship. It wouldn't surprise me if she had started courting/pre-courting someone. The family would be waiting to announce until they're sure it will work out and Si's married. The rest of those rumors are nuts. The tattoo thing is the least of it. Lots of moms get their kids' initials tattoed on them. -
I wasn't really sure what they were calling out Kameron for. I wish they had been more specific about what Kameron is like on social media. I think she gets lost in her head a lot. I missed most of it. My prediction is Eureka will win.

He (Josie B's guy) has a job. She did the same thing with Alyssa (teenage and married before her older sisters)? My feeling is Kelly Bates tries to marry off her daughters so they won't rebel too much. Since Josie has a real job, it would make sense that her mother wants her married and in the home.

Guiliana Rancic and Joanna Gaines both have sons named/called Duke. In Rancic's case, it's his middle name. Joanna Gaines's kids so far have very matchy names. -
This is not exactly true of the Catholic church. As a Catholic, I've known a lot of priests and nuns and they are good people, but not what I consider living "in poverty". Most of the priests/nuns have some nice things, for example clothes, or cars, etc. The Catholic church does some good in the world and the Church has done some things that were not good. (I don't want to get too off-topic, so let's leave it there.) I wish she would put the money into taking Kaylee to see a plastic surgeon. I hope her face heals. It looks painful.
