I'm looking forward to Miss J's return. I hope the runway challenge/teach episode is back. Someone always falls. I really, really, really enjoy it when someone falls. Like Alexandra who fell not once, but twice.

Talent wise, I think they're about the same. Sandro made what looked like hooker wear. Unlike Hernan, I wondered if Sandro was four sandwiches short of a picnic. Hernan was bitchy, but didn't give me the crazy vibe.

Kini turns out an awesome outfit that didn't take him the entire time to finish and he was proud of it. He reminds me of Shan from UTG. Shan would finish early and help out other designers and clean the workroom. I had hoped Kini would win. I don't get the judges. Everything has been done before. Fashion is reinvention with a contemporary twist. I like that Zac brought up that Amanda's style is nothing new either. Amanda used the entire time to make that fringe dress, which was lackluster and she's already done fringe. Kini's dress looked as if he used all the time, as where Amanda looked as if she threw hers together in the last two hours.

I follow Jack on Twitter and he cracks me up all the time. He's even favorited a bunch of my tweets. Anyway, I remember he left the competition and I agree that it sucks he didn't get another chance.

In the episode where the judges talked about how they started out in their careers, Nina mentioned getting coffee, etc. My parents watched that episode and when Nina said that, my dad replied "She should go back to getting coffee." I don't know why he said that, but something about Nina must have rubbed him the wrong way.

That's who she looks like. That's a great description and now I can't erase it from my mind.

You're welcome! I do think the judges' comments on ANTM and PR can be unreasonably harsh. And sometimes the comments are arbitrary and judges play favorites.I think that Heidi is better than Tyra when it comes to constructive criticism. Tyra could be a better mentor if she really wanted to. And while PR focuses on contestant drama, I think the drama quotient on ANTM is far worse and more obnoxious. Out of the three, I think The Face is the best, but Project Runway would be the next best bet.

I thought the same thing. Next week sounds like it will consist of a double elimination.

Thank you! The same thing was going through my head. All Amanda does is fringe. We get it. You think you're a hippie, even though you missed that decade by a long shot. I didn't watch Amanda's season, but she comes across as phony. I hope she doesn't end up as a finalist. She's so smug.

Hernan is way too bitchy without possessing the requisite talent to get away with it.

Good luck to your sister! I think she'd be better off on PR or even The Face. Tell her to avoid ANTM. ;) I like fashion in the artistic sense. Editorial doesn't bother me. And as others have mentioned, with certain modifications, an editorial outfit could work as RTW. I think editorial sums up Sandhya's aesthetic. As I've said before, I appreciate that she has a certain vision, but hopefully, she'll do a better job of translating it into her clothing. I really like that she'll work with color. Mind you, a lot of my wardrobe is neutral, but I enjoy seeing what designers can do with color.

We'll get a shot of Gordon pulling up to the establishment. He'll be naked with only the seatbelt covering his junk.

Gordon always finds a reason to get naked. cooksdelight: I'm glad to hear that the hotel has been getting good reviews now. I genuinely want this couple to have a successful hotel. They've been through enough already.

I'm glad that I'm not the only one who's watching this show here. The rich kids on this show don't bother me as much as I thought they would. They don't take themselves too seriously. I, too, want to see more of China and preferably from Dorothy's perspective.

Definitely. I want to see her do some real design. For me, she has the p.o.v. and I think she has the skills. I want her to really WOW me in the coming weeks. I'm rooting for Emily and Char. Fade is strange, but it's a good strange. He has a distinct p.o.v. too. His glasses trip me out though.

Zac brought up Sandhya's heritage working well for her in the competition. I agree with him and with you. She's someone who won't be afraid to use colors and go outside the box. I appreciate that she has a distinct p.o.v. even if I don't always like her outfits. I wouldn't mind seeing a runway show from her.

I really liked Emma's delivery too. I was sad when she got eliminated.

How do the judges consistently slant their positive ratings toward the home cooks? Obviously one doesn't have to be a trained chef to be a good cook, but it seems rare that a home cook loses any of the battles. I joked, after Adam gave her the machine, "So, is she going to return the money?" It's going to cost more than what she won to get a psych degree, especially at the Master's level. I could use less drama and backstory in these competition shows.

The best thing about this episode was Lenny giving the recipe for his steak rub. I like coffee. I like steak. Occasionally, I don't even mind salt and sugar. ;-)

Thank you! Earlier seasons are always better. In the past couple of years, I've started watching more of the cooking competition shows. I'm not much of a cook, but I enjoy watching the competition between talented chefs and cooks. I'm always happy when they dial back on the theatrics, but this seems to be a rare thing.

Now everything makes more sense to me. Initially I found Lenny amusing, even though I got the vibe he was probably pervy underneath the facade.

Me three! Every time they mispronounced the hotel name, a small part of me died inside.

If you out asshole Jason, then you're in pretty bad shape. And in a strange twist, I'm actually liking Kashia in this episode.
