Sorry catrox14. I usually try to vote within a 30 Min window of 24 hrs of my last vote. I think at this point you can't save those already voted off. But write a beautiful eulogy before voting for those remaining. It is always worth reading.

Well someone had to do it. Still, you have to admire how long it took for us to finally vote these guys off the Island. Let's first talk bout the wonder that is Dream a Little Dream. For me it's the Dean vs Dean scene that haunts me. In light of the ending of S9..... Wowser. And No Rest is Just Heartbreaking. The goodbye is so quick and perfect. The SONG. And Sam's face as he holds dead Dean. Yeh, nothing will ever be the same in the SPN universe after this episode. + Jus in Bello -- No Rest for the Wicked -- Dream a Little Dream of Me 28 - Mystery Spot 14 - A Very Supernatural Christmas 08 - Bad Day at Black Rock 05 - Jus in Bello Mauled by a Hellhound: Bedtime Stories Malleus Maleficarum Red Sky at Morning The Magnificent Seven Sin City Long Distance Call Time is on My Side Fresh Blood The Kids Are Alright Ghostfacers No Rest for the Wicked Dream a Little Dream of Me

I enjoyed reading all the rationale. Jus In Bello to me is one of the best episodes ever. The plot, pacing, action, and humor. -- Dream a Little Dream of Me -- No Rest for the Wicked +Jus in Bello 27 - Mystery Spot 17- A Very Supernatural Christmas 12 - Bad Day at Black Rock 05 - Jus in Bello 02 - No Rest for the Wicked 02 - Dream a Little Dream of Me Mauled by a Hellhound: Bedtime Stories Malleus Maleficarum Red Sky at Morning The Magnificent Seven Sin City Long Distance Call Time is on My Side Fresh Blood The Kids Are Alright Ghostfacers

@Amerilla. You are not in the clear til EP 10. Hang on!
-
Nope. I blew it up quite a bit. Different person, possibly crew (although she's got the "look" Dean usually goes for).

For the non-twitter-holics: https://twitter.com/Steadistar/status/500060325690220544/photo/1 Two points: 1) Upper left you can see Sam and Dean in what appears to be some sort of uniform (sheriff, ranger, ...something). 2) Jeannot Szwarc directing 10.4 -- I love his episodes.

7th person! Or did you already count me? And Dean once again restores Baby. Because THIS he can do.

Kingswinchester on Tumblr put up a full transcript: http://kingswinchester.tumblr.com/post/94426905438/jensens-interview-with-harpers-bazaar-china So that's interesting. He has his agent screen the work and make decisions. It's probably a good idea (why angst over a 'could have been'). This seems different than in the past.

I'm FINALLY getting to the Blu-Ray extras for S2 (literally just yesterday). Here's what I found out -- 2.22 (which is actually EP 21 & 22) started off as about 6 hrs of impossible-to-do-on-a-TV budget finale. It's pretty clear that Kim Manners, Bob Singer, and the rest of the production crew had to really rein in Kripke to get it done. And they did so VERY close to filming. From the episode commentary, they pulled off the Special Children Hunger Games in the direction Kripke wanted but the finale loped off whole chunks. At first I really didn't know WHY the Roadhouse had to go. I loved it. But maybe they were violating (in their minds) the whole point of killing off John in the first place. They wanted "Obi Wan" dead so the boys would be more alone and in greater danger. The Roadhouse AND Bobby just gave them too much backup. With Ash being so freaking smart, taking him out (as well as a bunch of hunters) is like taking out the high value military targets in a country you are trying to take over. It's your first step in war. And Azazel was setting up for war. I'd probably put the Roadhouse ABOVE Bobby's as "targets" go but Azazel could have also had something "special" planned for Bobby. The failure here -- IMO -- is not having Bobby make that point to Dean when they went to the Roadhouse. It was an opening move and Bobby should have seen it. Since most of the viewers are not military strategists, I'm thinking the script should have had this point made clear by one of the characters. ETA: I rewatched the key scene, they focused on them taking out Ash. That's a fair rationale but I think the military target value is why the whole place was torched, not just Ash. I also forgot how much I appreciated Jake. Aldis Hodge did an EXCELLENT job. And making him a military soldier was a really good call. It makes him such a viable alternative to Sam (along with the strength) in terms of basic personality to lead a war. Sam has the supernatural fighter upbringing, Jake knew war.

I always looked at the two hell experiences as different. Dean was in GenPop (as in a prison General Population) and the CO of the guards made him his special project while he also suffered at anyone's hands. Sam was in isolation w/ a raging psychopath and no external intervention. For ME (as in if I was in there), better the Devil you know (literally) than a thousand different new creative sadists. JMO YMMV. And I refuse to get in any Sam vs Dean debates. I think they are both equal and am not interested in rechewing that gristle for the umpteenth time. So...I'm going to agree to disagree with anyone who thinks one is favored over the other. I think both stories are fascinating and as a viewer I may find I connect more at certain times with one story vs another but it all ends up about the same in the end.

I think the Mark kept Dean alive. Perhaps the Blade was a little "go juice" in his hand, but I think if Sam had tried to cremate Dean he wouldn't have burned up. Okay, gross...but I think he was "dormant", not dead. Being burned would have probably got him going too I suspect. I think Crowley certainly manipulated Dean to kill Abaddon. Getting him to be a Demon might have been part fantasy, part plan. Even if Dean just died from the MoC that' would have been okay I suspect for Crowley. Except he would miss him and if Dean did go to Hell (perhaps taking on the MoC tarnished him or something), Crowley would definitely have a new playtoy. So... win win. I completely forgot about the witch. Yeah, Crowley's got a plot to keep him busy. Now I hope they integrate Cas back into the bro's story.

Have you noticed how much weight Mark has lost? Dude is in the gym ALL THE TIME. I wonder if they told him he'd have another shirtless scene with Jensen shirtless (NOT like THAT... just adjacent or something). If I was a dude and had to stand next to Jensen Ackles, I'd be hitting the gym or getting a new freaking contract. Just sayin'. BTW: Anyone else having a GISHWHES hangover? I'm really really tired today after staying up til 3am to post some last minute items. And yes... I tried out GISHWHES this year. Reasonably fun. My team was not high pressure so except for the last night, it was pretty fun. Some REALLY creative people out there. I was the boring one.
