Maybe, but I wouldn't want to be the one to tell her she's not getting her dish back. I am loving Carol channeling both June Cleaver and Lizzie Borden, at the same time, but she does seem really, really close to the edge. I will really worry when she starts joining Sasha's slumber parties.

Not as cute as I'm your neighbor and I came to give you a haircut. I did see that on Walking Dead right? Cuz I watch Lifetime movies sometimes.......... NO! You forgot FPP. He really needs to go too.

What do they think happened to Beth, Daryl carried her out and they put a band aid on what was left of her head?

Season 5 Reunion Spoilers, Previews, Gossip, Etc.
chlban replied to quinn's topic in The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills
Well certainly because Kim has no responsibility for anything that happens to her. It's not her fault that viewers have come to overwhelmingly detest her and want her off their screen, it's Kyle's and Eileen's and Lisa's. The problem isn't that she's an addict the problem is that people are talking about her being an addict. It isn't her fault she lives in a rental it's Kyle's fault because she stole her house. Kim bears no responsibility for anything bad in her life. I can only imagine how exhausting it must be to care about this bitch. Actually I think you answered your own question What she does for the show is never make any appearances on any other show. -
Was it actually established that the "official" policy of the ASZ is to leave people behind? As opposed to they are just a bunch of cowards? Because if that's true why did Douche 2 have to lie about leaving Aiden behind. Why didn't he just say he followed the system? Particularly since I recall him pointing out that Glen was the one that wanted to leave him behind? Also why was Tobin singing Abraham's praises and then Reg said saving someone makes them a hero, not a leader (no, that is not a direct quote, I don't memorize every line, but that is the jist of what was said). So, if the system is just to get out of dodge why would you make the guy that didn't do what he was supposed to the boss and why weren't Reg and Deanna upset because Abraham played hero? I agree the ASZhats seem clueless and I don't doubt they are cowards overall, but I don't recall anyone other than the two douches talking about their "system". Isn't it possible it's something they set up for runs, but the rest of the group is unaware of it?

The AMC Spinoff 'Fear The Walking Dead': News and Speculation
chlban replied to mandolin's topic in Fear The Walking Dead
I like that this at least starts out as a "prequel" and hopefully still plans to explore the early part of the Zombie Apocalypse. I am pretty fascinated by that, how all these dead people were available for re-animation (since people generally get buried pretty fast where did all the corpses some from) etc. I think it could be really interesting. We'll see this summer. No more WD until Fall, no more Mad Men, ever after May, Breaking Bad gone. It's good timing, IMO. -
Season 7 Preview: Premiere Date April 7, 2015

Yes to all of this. I too am disappointed that Kristen is back, I don't like her or the douche she Is married to, but after BH. anyone is better than watching Brandi the Skank and Kim the addict. I am actually looking forward to seeing Bethany again and I think she will give bossy assed Heather a real run for her money. I don't hate Heather but she gets on my nerves with her bossy, know it all crap and I have never forgotten her telling a guest to get out of the Countess's house. That is beyond out of line. I absolutely love that clip of the countess, "be cool, don't be all ....uncool". Classic. Bring it on. -
Kim Richards: No Escape from Witch Mountain

Or they have just figured out that the bitch is more dangerous than Kingsley and it's far better to keep the peace with her. -
Yes, there were a number of posts on this, perhaps relating to the last episode, but I recall them and actually participated in them. I was, and remain, amazed that there is that much liquor available in the Apocalypse. This is a tiny community that was probably occupied, based on prices quoted by Deanna, by a bunch of upwardly mobile Professional types. Even if they were all heavy drinkers, and I assume wine was a popular choice. wouldn't most of the supply left in houses be gone by now? I cannot imagine anyone risking their lives on runs to bring back booze. Perhaps that's the simple answer. You want more booze Pete? Fine, you go out on a run, on your own because no one else wants it that bad, and bring it back. I gotta think that would work better than Betty Ford any day. Or, your solution makes perfect sense as well. Even if you weren't dealing with a known alcoholic, it seems like it would just be wise to keep all residents sober while dealing with the threats of the world they live in. I also co-sign with the posters that think the whole ASZ, Deanna, Douche 1 and 2 (or Joel Osteen. if you prefer) storyline was less rushed. I think it's really interesting in many ways, and I hope this isn't the end of it, or even the end of it as it is currently structured. I think a battle of wills and possible resolution involving the CDB and Deanna has the potential to be interesting. I am quite partial to the actress playing Deanna (Law and Order fan here) and she is the first nuanced leader they have come up against. I don't believe she is evil. She is certainly flawed, but so is Rick, IMO. Each brings something to the table. I think seeing it all mesh, or not, could prove interesting so I hope she doesn't just get offed in the finale.

But he didnt say it until he got in a fight with his new girlfriends husband. So any credibility he might have comes into question because of that. Well that and the fact that he sounded completely unhinged.
-
I don't think the speech was as about Jessie but the fight clearly was. As I have said I dont like Rick. If he's worried about his family I assume he's free to leave. Whatever the Assists are doing wrong they seem to have something Rick wants. Maybe he could work on his approach. I don't screaming in the street when you have just had a fistfight with the husband of the chick you want to bang Is a really god way to go a out it. But thats just me. Like I said I am well aware of the Rick love.Sorry my stupid phone doesnt like the name for the current Alexandria residents.

And quite awesome on Mad Men. He's the villain there, of course, but awesome acting job. I hope he's back in the shows Season Premiere 10 days 11 hours and 48 minutes. But who's counting? -
This. Yes, I watched some of Denise's show and it was pretty tough to hate her. Then, since that time the fact that she took care of her daughters half brothers, Charlie's kids by that other addict chick. Yeah. Not nearly as bad as one might have thought. Also so true about how Brandi has hurt herself and made Eddie look so much better. I was among the early Brandi lovers. I hated Leeann and Eddie. Now, I find myself glad those boys are with them at least 1/2 the time. Yeah, I still think Leeann is probably a spoiled entitled person, but I don't see her so drunk she can't stand up or speak clearly. She and Eddie seem to be keeping a fairly low profile so, sadly, in those kids lives she is looking pretty damn good. Let's face it with Brandi as their mother the bar is pretty damn low.
-
I would agree IF I believed one word that came out of her mouth. But since I don't, I would say someone, quite possibly her publicist, tried to explain to her about how if everyone that watches the show detests you, and you have aligned yourself with the only other person on the show that could compete with your own special level of hate, you might want to tone it down. However, it's Brandi, so we can rest assured it won't last. Because for women like Brandi the hook up guy in Amsterdam qualifies as a "boyfriend". Along with the guy she "does" on the hood of a car.

You know, this is one sentence I have never, in my entire life needed to say to any of my girlfriends. -
I don't really know; or care, if Michonne was acting as LE or if she was trying to save Rick from himself or if she was tying to ensure that the entire gang didn't get exiled because that ASZhats would think they all blindly followed Captain Crazy Pants. All of the above would be adequate justification. IMO. He was behaving like a lunatic. If anyone outside of CDB had clocked him, then Glen, Carl and others would feel compelled to defend him, although personally I'm not sure why. Only one of them could do it, IMO and Carol is still trying to sell her June Cleaver persona, which obviously would have been blown to hell if it had been her. So, Michonne did what had to be done. She didn't shoot him, he's going to have a bad headache which I think he well deserves. You have to remember he didn't go off the rails like that because someone had harmed one of his kids or even one of his friends. He went off the rails because porchdick took offense to walking in on his wife and the Captain, whispering and acting all secretive, followed immediately by his wife telling him to get out. Then, when Captain Crazy suggested to Deanna that porchdick must die she didn't immediately get on board. Obviously everyone is supposed to always get on board with Captain Crazy Pants. I realize there is a ton of Rick love, which I guess there is supposed to be because he is clearly the leading man. Maybe it's just my contrary nature, but I don't get that love. Michonne clocking him? That I totally get.

Oh yeah. That will work. Just give him a new name and introduce him as your new rescued shih Tzu. Kim is an idiot. -
S05.E19: The Party's Over
chlban replied to Tara Ariano's topic in The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills
It shouldn't because it is absurd. She is a completely selfish, narcissistic, bitch that lives in a fantasy world and/or drug haze. Either way, she has no idea of reality and she has shown herself more than ever this season to be a totally horrible person. Which is why I think she and Brandi deserve each other and are, in fact, a perfect. match. Kim is not an average person and anyone that truly thinks so, seriously needs a new set of friends and/or serious therapy. -
While I agree the Walkers are always a problem, It seems to be Aaron and Darryl should be hightailing it back there to warn them about the W's being carved into peoples heads. Because we know the Walkers aren't doing that, and while the wall might deflect the walkers it isn't going to keep any still breathing monsters out. Edited to add that I think there is a lot of plot that seems to be being rushed for some reason. The whole Rick/Jessie storyline has been for certain, and it seems a bit like the unfair wolves (presumably the carvers) are too. I don't get why though, it seems like a really great plot line, unlike the Rick/Jessie stuff.
-
Really? This is the only forum I visit, so I am surprised by this. I believe you, I am just surprised. My reaction was to cement my already existing dislike for Rick. I personally think he could be punched out a few more times. For his own good, of course. Captain Crazy Pants.

Kim Richards: No Escape from Witch Mountain
chlban replied to Lisin's topic in The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills
Agree. I am not a big fan of Kyle, nor do I hate her, but she is so not a train wreck. She seems to have a happy life overall. She just has a narcissistic, addict, bitch for a sister that she cannot seem to turn her back on. That is a problem it's hardly a train wreck. -
Do We Need a Television vs Comics Thread?
chlban replied to HalcyonDays's topic in The Walking Dead Franchise Shows
Yes, this is the part I don't understand. I read the Comics thread occasionally, because I don't really mind spoilers, but I never read the comics themselves. However, from what I have read in the other thread there are tons of differences. Andrea is still alive and Glenn is not (and apparently hasn't been for a very long time, so no spoiler there) in the comics, for example. Doesn't matter to me really, one way or the other, but I guess I don't see why the comic thread isn't more active if there is a real need for the. -

chlban replied to Tara Ariano's topic in The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills
Ditto. Couldn't finish watching. Bad sign. What I came away with is this. If these women have a collective brain between them, and I actually think a couple of them are quite intelligent, they will back off and leave Brandi and Kim alone. Completely. There is no greater punishment you could bestow upon either of then, than allow them to be BFF's. Each other for company. Forever. The third portal of hell. I also came away with Kim Richards a 50 something woman declaring that Brandi the tramp, a person she did not know until a few years ago, and hated until what a year and a half ago is her very best, best friend. Seriously? I have a friend I roomed with in College, another friend I learned to ride a bike with, and several others that I have known for decades. I have friends I have made in recent years too my dog park buddies, work friends, etc., and I enjoy the heck out of them as well. Nothing wrong with forming new and strong friendships. but if someone you detested until 2013 is you BFF, honey, take a good look at your selfish, nasty self. I wish Brandi and Kim years of happiness. Together. As BFF's. All by themselves. -
