I just about choked when Emily said she'd been in the middle the whole competition, or something to that effect. What now??

I liked Bonnie waaaaaay better than Gregorio.

I honestly don't get Nick/Adalind at all. I see no chemistry, and I don't believe the characters are in love one bit. It just doesn't ring true. I actually think they had WAY more chemistry when Adalind was a baddie. I really wish the show had stuck to case of the week/wesen/fairy tale stuff instead of an overarching conspiracy thing. I think that sucked a lot of fun out of the show. I also think they really could have done some amazing stuff with Juliette dying about a season sooner and not being Eve'd. I was pissed Aunt Marie's warning about Juliette getting caught in the crossfire and he had to leave her in the first few episodes came to nothing. And we get to see so few new wesen and learn about them because we're stuck with this bullshit mayor/HW/Black Claw stuff. Add in magical kids/babies and it just went so far off the tracks, and it makes me SO ANGRY because the concept of the show was so good the first few seasons.

I don't think it's an issue of the viewers not accepting a woman on the team, I think it's more the casting hasn't been great. I don't see a lot of chemistry with the women they've added post-Ziva. Borin would've been an exceptional choice, but the actress really screwed herself over - she criticized NCIS New Orleans on their filming safety on Twitter instead of bringing it to the appropriate on-set folks, and I doubt any of the shows will work with her again. I am still on the Bring Delilah On As The Female Team Member train. The actress has great chemistry with everyone. I want the team to be Gibbs, Fornell, McGee, and Delilah, with Director Vance, Ducky, Jimmy and Abby involved as needed. My more out there idea is bringing Zoe Mclellan on as a now-out-of-the-Navy Petty Officer Coates.

This episode sucked. I hate that we lost Jim. I'm getting really tired of the stupid kitschy quickfires. I just want them to make some food.

S07.E12: Ka ʻaelike (The Deal)
threebluestars replied to BW Manilowe's topic in Hawaii Five-0 (2010)
After all the leadup to Chin's kidnapping by the cartel, that was the fastest wrap up ever. I felt cheated. The rest of the episode case wasn't bad. I find I don't miss Danny at all when he's gone. I think it's time for Scott Caan to say aloha and head back to the mainland permanently. -
S02.E01: Welcome to New York

I think the girl was asking if the coloured eyebrows were part of her culture, not the hijab. At least, that's what I assumed. -
I totally thought the desk thing was genuine and tone deaf on Walter's part, and I liked that. They even had Walter acknowledge he noticed Tim's displeasure, which was nice progress ... but then the picture thing just made it weird. I wonder if there are two factions in the writers room ... those that want growth from Walter and those that think we'll find the "Walter screws around with Tim" thing funny because we'll root for Walter. I mean, I can totally see Walter doing the photo thing for himself to make him feel better, since I can see him acknowledging he has to stop demeaning Tim to everyone, but he does these things for himself as a stress release since he can't eradicate his feelings for Paige. But to put it on Paige's computer seemed really weird - especially leading up to it with the mom giving him advice and him seeming sincere with the desk. And I agree that I LOVE that Toby loudly and frequently comments on it. It's like he figures the only way to retrain Walter is to do it that way lol. I feel like Toby is the audience voice at this point, and the writers think it's Walter that we're identifying with. I wish the picture thing was something Walter did a long time ago, before he realized Paige would just hate it/him, and he forgot it was on there, and then had to reap the consequences because he truly didn't mean for it to be seen. And there never is any consequences, which bugs me. Paige is a huge wimp about it - I kind of wish they'd have her telling someone she only shuts up about it as much as she does because she likes the Scorpion pay cheque too much to quit lol. I would actually like Ralph to cut Walter off at the knees over his treatment of Tim. You can see Ralph feels he's learning things from Tim as well as Walter (and things Walter would never be able to teach him) so I'd like Ralph to be the voice of reason, because I think that would actually get through to Walter. (And in typical soapy fashion, they'd have Walter realize it/agree/move on/find a girl, just as Paige breaks it off with Tim and wants to be with Walter, right?? lol) ETA: theatremouse you hit on it with Ralph just as I was typing lol. YES to everything you said.

I'm weirdly viewing Walter's regression as part of his reaction to Megan's death. Being terrified of losing people and reacting like a total jackass. I don't like Walter, but I think he's an interesting character in that he's the lead and being written so unlikable. I've known a few people who were highly intelligent, but really, really off putting because of it, so I can completely see how Walter by-passed normal bratty kid stage and is living it as an adult.

S33.E13: I'm Going For A Million Bucks / S33.E14: Reunion
threebluestars replied to Tara Ariano's topic in Survivor
I had been hoping Adam was going to keep in the info about his mom under wraps. I just got the feeling Jay spilled the beans to the jury, but I hated that he brought it up - and I think David's question was engineered so that he would bring it up. I freaking HATE sob stories because you always walk away feeling like that's what people get rewarded for - or you end up questioning if that's the reason. It just really sucks as a viewer. I missed the end where they announced what next season is - a quick recap for those of us who got bored and went to bed early? lol. -
I'd love to watch Gibbs/Fornell/Ducky episodes with a smattering of Abby and Jimmy. And if they were any kind of smart, the writers would've written Delilah in as a new agent. I love the character and the actress, she fit well with everyone, and there would be so much stuff they could explore with her and McGee working together - not to mention it'd be nice to have a character with a physical disability front and centre (even if it does mirror NCIS New Orleans a little). Add in some Emily Fornell visits, and I would watch that NCIS all the time always. (And speaking of McGee ... these uninteresting newbies (and I'm including Bishop in that) have scuttled his screen time so much it's like he isn't even on the show anymore.)

That's what I keep wondering. Wouldn't the characters be all "Granger, you okay?" or asking Hetty if he's alright? Why has NO ONE said anything?! Even if it was a real life issue they're using in the show, one of the characters would have noticed, said something, talked amongst themselves! It's driving me nuts that no one has commented on it.

I've thought Nate is the mole for awhile. I figure it has to be someone we know, because otherwise why would we give a crap? Like when they caught Carl. So I figure it has to be someone they actually know, who knows info about the team, and Nate makes the most sense. What I had trouble with was why Nate would make a heel turn, so my only idea is that it was inadvertent, and he got involved with a woman and leaked info accidentally (ie talking about his friends/work etc), or the bad guys are threatening him with something so he'll do it. Because I can't really think of any reason why he'd do it on his own. As for who the bad guys are that are above him ... I would like it to be Anna. No reason. Just don't like her lol.

I am really curious if Miguel Ferrer had a stroke, because if not, that's some scarily accurate portrayal. I knew from the beginning that the daughter would end up as Callan's sister. And Kensi seemed to recuperate awfully fast this week, at least as far as her legs went.

I miss having local law enforcement involved. In early seasons every visit somewhere had a local contact who was involved in the story. Now they just show up, line up to present their portion of the profile, catch the guy and leave. I liked the local interaction a lot, but it's so empty of that now. And the entire time I was watching the "talk the bully down" scene I was like "the internet is going to go crazy that Reid is not doing this" lol. It bothered me that he just vanished as well. Garcia/Alvez I just don't understand. Their scenes are so weird. What is Garcia's problem? I do like having Emily back and I find I'm not missing Hotch at all, which is interesting.

S03.E07: We're Gonna Need A Bigger Vote
threebluestars replied to thewhiteowl's topic in Scorpion [V]
I lost it laughing at "I have to go edit this crap pile." and Cabe looking guilty that Ralph picked up his language lol. I'm really enjoying Ralph now that he's older and they're involving him more. I am glad there is no baby. It would've messed things up a lot as far as the show goes, but I LOVE that they actually had a callback to something they've done having caused the pregnancy scare. -
I loved that the patients we saw in the mental health unit were all normal. So many times shows go and show us folks talking to walls and being a huge stereotype of mentally ill. I loved the way they portrayed the patients.

I don't care about Grigorio's Back Story of Wangst. Her character just doesn't fit in. Period. I don't mind them adding another character, but they need someone that fits. Brody and the actress playing her meshed really well with everyone. This ... is not working.

This is probably one of the only realistic comas I've seen on TV. I love that they have her saying a word here and there, moving here and there, but not totally conscious and aware all the time. Coma recovery takes TIME and most shows have people wake up like nothing ever happened and it drives me nuts (just like carrying empty coffee cups that are supposed to be full lol). I think Daniela's pregnancy actually forced them into writing this more realistically, so yay.

I found it really hard to connect to Quinn in any way, and the backstory changed nothing to me. I really don't like her character. I don't mind Torres' fish out of water stuff, but I'd like to see the team take more of a hard line with him and maybe push back to a lot of the crap he's bringing. I like the idea that the office is not where he's comfortable, and that's an issue, but I hate that he seems to be the alpha in the group when he's the newbie AND a fish out of water. I think they should have found a way to have Fornell join the team.

I liked the episode, but I'm still hating Gregorio. The character just comes off as a raging bitch all the time. Go back to DC!

His gang was a takeoff on Mara Salvatrucha (MS-13). If you google them, it's all face tattoos, all the time lol.

Just about died when I realized the baddie that hired Sherlock was Esposito from Castle.

I agree that Prentiss was way over-the-top in the opening scenes. It almost felt like "Be as big and noticeable as you can! Then no one will notice Hotch isn't here!" lol.
