  1. Part of the reason I like Kate is that she takes her job seriously, and never talks down about it or like it's beneath her. It may involve making beds and cleaning bathrooms, but dammit she's got a checklist!
  2. I'm a feminist who's also around a lot of guys with crude senses of humor. Couple a bad joke with too much to drink, and it happens. I'd bet anything that it was not meant literally, and it's been made into such a huge deal that it's caused years of stress and heartache for all involved. Regarding the house versus hotel thing, a lot of family and friends *insist* you stay with them, even if you'd rather not. (I like and need my own space.) But I don't for one minute think that's Brianna's issue. She's just fine with "the family home." It's all about sticking it to her mother over Brooks again, and her arbitrary rule of not sharing oxygen with him.
  3. There is something seriously wrong with Brianna if she chooses what STATE to live in based on her mother's boyfriend. Get your priorities straight and move on. The man makes her mother happy, end of story. (I know in real-time they're broken up, but I think it's either untrue or won't last.) Also, Eddie's words about Ryan were PERFECTION! I wish I could tape my mother's eyes open "Clockwork Orange" style and make her watch that 100x so she would stop supporting my middle-aged brother. Whether it's for a storyline or not, that ridiculous enabling behavior is something that a lot of families deal with.
  4. "Good job! You woke up! You're the best waker-upper ever!" Bwah ha ha #TeamKate
  5. I agree with these, especially "she's definitely been obvious about replacing Adam with Cole." All these girls are so in love with the idea of playing house. They don't necessarily need a marriage license but they need to be mature adults whose time together is measured in years and not mere months. They are only in their early 20s - the chance they're with their life partner is very slim. Calling Chelsea's boyfriend "Dad" is totally inappropriate and I'm sure it was encouraged. Why in the world would Aubree start calling her Mom's friend/boyfriend "Dad." She knows she has a Dad and she's always delighted to see him. Hopefully Aubree won't have to go through as many "new daddies" as the other Teen Mom kids!
  6. So impressed with Michael in this episode! He and Brianna, formerly the winner and the levelheaded one, have switched roles. He looked so healthy and happy - he was practically glowing. He has his life together, while Brianna is already saddled with a rageaholic husband and two kids. Also? Michael literally could not be more different than Tamra's son Ryan.
  7. He asked someone else a question, and then literally turned to Beth and said, "What do you think about that?" And she got to chime in on every subject whethr it had to do with her or not.
  8. Yummie was around long before she was a HW, so the brand already had legit retailers, unlike a "Housewife-invented" product.
  9. Marriage or not, I'm flabbergasted at how cavalier these girls and guys are about bringing new life into the world. "Oh well, just another human being with wants and needs - whatevs, YOLO!"
  10. When I first saw Machine Gun Kelly with his struggle tats and man-bun, I was all, "douche!" But I guess I played into stereotypes as much as Hundra did (insert "The More You Know" rainbow here). I liked how quick he and Nev were to say, "Hey that's not OK" when Hundra referred to Geralyn as "this" (!!!) and that Geralyn probably wanted to convert her. Line of the night was MGK's indignant, "You are a shameful citizen!"
  11. OK, sorry. I love Carole, but I really didn't like her dishing dirt on Jason so that Bethenny didn't have to, and could look like the victim.
  12. I love Carole, but it annoyed the hell out of me that she helped Beth sidestep the gag order on her divorce by giving out some dirty details. And yeah, Heather is everything that Bethenny is not and never will be: Happy.
  13. Good call, cherrie slushie! Her jaw was SO bulgy and weird that I'm not sure it would be enough, but I think you're right about the chin implant. And she's got tons of fillers, everywhere, which she needs and are well done. The new upper lip thing is distracting, though. I kind want to go back and analyze when she had surgery done, but I hate looking at her face, so.
  14. It pissed me off that Beth was allowed to literally shrug off her bad behavior from the first half of the season. Behavior that was so bad they had to re-edit the later episodes and shoot new THs. It gave me a bit of PTSD because I had a colleague who treated me like shit (verbal insults, bizarre email attacks), and when we finally went to talk about it, he said, "Never mind all that stuff - I can be bipolar sometimes!" So in a split second, it all got blown off with zero accountability. It was maddening. Having said that, I think Beth's PR team coached her very well on how to dismiss her assholery when it came up. Did Ramona get more than one sentence in? Sonja is hilarious when she's sober. "Raise your hand if you slept with* Alistair" was the line of the night. *or "did Alistair?"
  15. As predicted, this was the Bethenny hour. They devoted a full 30 minutes to her return to the show, let her talk half the time, and cut away to her reaction shots everytime somebody said something. Lu lost the Adam debate on every level only because Carole is Beths' "new bestie" and Beth wouldn't jump in to defend her. Carole looked amazing and the best tonight. Beth chose that square white top to disguise her "food issues," as Andy delicatey put it. After all my denial, NOW I believe Heather is leaving. If she's retiring "holla" tonight, as she says, then she's retiring. I'm bummed.
  16. Hopefully she cracked the car window open for him a bit while she went out barhopping! For me, the whole thing about Jenelle boils down to two things: 1) She's extremely mentally ill (which is not being treated effectively through meds and therapy) and has an incurable personality disorder (such as borderline or sociopathy), and 2) She has zero maternal instinct. No pure love for her child. No core desire to protect that child at all costs. The instinct, and any will to develop one, is simply not there.
  17. She hurts Isaac to spite Jo. It's disgusting. She subjects Isaac to six-hour weekly car trips (I'm sorry - I think it's outrageous to subject a kid to that) and is unhappy that his father might move *closer*? So that he can be a better, more involved parent? Fuck her. Seriously, fuck her.
  18. It doesn't make any kind of sense. They've known each other a week and she's a dom and he's a sub* and so she should leave her life to live with him and then they should get married? *Not that there's anything wrong with that. However ... it squicks me out that they're portraying it with a character that hasn't recovered from childhood sexual abuse.
  19. How come nobody said to the psychic, "So he's cured!" That's what my first thought would have been, i.e. "the cancer is gone." It's good news, right?
  20. OK I know this was the possible (not)cancer reveal, but line of the night goes to Stella: "You don't understand the 10-year-old life."
  21. So it looks like Taylors getting back with Adam, but it's nothing that Chelsea hasn't done a bunch of times. Remember she slept with Adam back when Taylor and Adam broke up previously. I laughed my ass off when Nathan was emotionally abusing Jenelle. Sorry, but my only sympathy is for the children. She pretends to play with Jace for just a few minutes, but it's really just a set-up for her to whine to her friend. I think Jeremy was smiling during the talk with his friend because he was trying to dance around the issues and they both knew it. Leah slipped up once and said to her friend, "Nothing even happened." Viewers who don't follow them IRL must be so confused about what's going on.
  22. Same here. The catfish already confessed a long time ago, including with photos and a DRIVER'S LICENSE, so what exactly are we on about here?
  23. Yep. So with the Mexican Wrestling dominatrix leaving, what exactly was the point of that storyline?
  24. That's the thing! By the topic of conversation ("Miranda went to school to pick her up and she wasn't even there," etc.) we know the conversation happened the same day. On the drive to the doctor, Leah is un-made up and looks like deep-fried ass. Her hair is straight and long past her shoulders. When she is "done up" later in the day (by her standards), she's wearing the above-the-shoulder bob again. One of life's great mysteries ...
  25. From the linked article, how interesting that Jeff Lewis from flipping out is personal friends with both Mr. and Mrs. Beador, and loves them. I hardly know what to make of that! On topic, my sympathy for Shannon's obsession over the affair definitely increased with hearing more of the details this episode. For some reason, I find her very candid and likable, and an over-sharer which is a great trait in a Housewife. If she'd just get out of her own damn way, her life could be so much easier. But that's easy to say from the outside looking in.
