  1. That shirt Captain Lee wore to the end of the season party.
  2. At this point, I actually hope Glenn is dead and that wasn't him. It's so manipulative and shitty of the writers to drag it out like this. Do they think we're enjoying the suspense? Maybe for the first week, but now it's just pure fuckery.
  3. Me too! I can't stand Ben, but he and Kate are adorable together. You really can see the sparkle in her eyes when they are talking. (Or bickering!) Yes, this. I think his behavior is despicable and shows bad character underneath what a lot of people though of as a "good guy" façade. I also hate that he calls his penis Eduardo!!!
  4. This is how I feel about Eddie now, regardless of how much I also do not like Rocky. He's a cad, especially for the way he treated her afterward. He's also shown himself to be dishonest (claiming to Dave he'd never hookup on charter) and a smooth liar according to the previews. Gross. ETA: The Captain's Blog - I really did not need to read the phrase "hide the bologna" or hear it in Capt. Lee's voice ... ew, LOL!
  5. Eddie is NOT a gentleman. I also don't like how Eddie was complaining about the horrible stress of the charter season. You're working on a beautiful yacht by choice. Go dig ditches for a living if yachting is such a chore. Contrast that with Connie's TH's about being grateful for the opportunity. Emile's comment to Connie was horrible, but she'd lobbed a number of insults (little bitch, etc) his way before he said it. Ben was always one of my least favorite characters in past seasons. He's a diva and he slept with the repulsive Cat. But I've been impressed with how he wants to please the guests and takes his job seriously. And how cute are Ben and Kate together?! They bicker like an old married couple, but have so much chemistry. Rocky uselessly flopping around on the beach made me laugh out loud for real.
  6. He's absolutely horrible in bed. Or "in tree" or whatever.
  7. This reminded me of one of the very first episodes of the show, where they showed Logan as the one in charge of getting the small children up and ready for school. Like, he had one on his hip while he was making scrambled eggs. I felt so sorry for him. That's why I think it's selfish and wrong to have this many children. They don't get quality time from their parents and the older kids are forced to play the parenting role.
  8. The Browns really got lucky with their kids turning out so well (so far). If Garrison's mild anger issues - compared to what I see out there, it's still mild - are the worst they have to contend with, they are very fortunate. He's a good kid - I didn't like to see him singled out for so long during that scene. Also ... how much would it suck to be enjoying some alone time on a scenic nature trail and be accosted by Kody Brown bragging about his four wives?! I'd be tempted to try to buy a daughter too, just to fuck with him.
  9. I've finally started feeling sorry for her. It was the contrast between her going to the doctor alone for her health problem and the real married couple Kody/Robin going to the doctor's together for the ultrasound. IIRC, she didn't even share her health issue with the others? And/or they did not give enough of a fuck to go with her. I wasn't sure they were gonna go there with the catfish thing. When she was talking about "bringing this into the family," I thought she meant HPV or something. Now the catfish incident only adds further to Meri's humiliation. So yeah ... now I'm sympathetic.

    S06.E05: Now

He better not. Don't get me wrong - it sucks to lose the character, but the writers have really pushed their luck (with me at least!) with dragging out the suspense over his death. After leaving both Glenn and Rick near certain death two episodes ago, it would be such a big copout. And I already think that not showing Rick escape the RV is a HUGE copout.

    S06.E05: Now

I am Pissed Off that they didn't show Rick escaping that seemingly hopeless situation in the RV, and didn't resolve Glenn's fate for sure. Making us wait last week with the Morgan episode ... a bit tortuous, but OK. However, making us wait again tonight is some bullshit. They have lost a lot of good will with me.
  12. So Alison was offended by the way Noah depicts her in the book and the way she was treated and the assumptions made by Yvonne and Robert. Well I feel like she proved their points at the end by sleeping with Cole. She should have left it at cuddling if there's more to her than that. It's the fault of the writers too. I think the scene would have been so much better if Cole and Alison just laid there quiet together, spooning and holding hands. It would speak to their long relationship and the experiences they've been through - the bond that endures.
  13. The inconsistencies of the walkers kinda annoys me. Sometimes the rule is that they're slow as hell, and other times they can lurch along at a brisk trot. But worse, you usually hear them coming from a mile away, yet they can also sneak up on you in pure stealth and silence and bite you. Just depends on the plot!
  14. Noah is such a cliché. There are so many of them IRL that I recognized every word Helen was saying. Loved it.
  15. I was leaning toward believing Brooks over Brianna as well, for several reasons, one of which being that the camera hasn't caught him behaving badly, whereas pretty much every other cast member has had their moment in the line of fire. Surely they'd have caught Brooks being drunk and disorderly by now. Now I'm even more convinced, because this right here? Is a great point!
  16. Tonight confirmed my suspicions that there's a self-fulfilling prophecy going on with these guests and their love of the "cuisine." They expect it to be great because it's a luxury yacht, so they are predisposed to rave about it. Also just because manners. Like when you're at a restaurant and the food's average, but the waiter asks you how it is and you say "Great!"
  17. Best episode of Below Deck evah!!! Back later with more coherent thoughts.
  18. Leah trying to pick out "clean" items from that Mount Trashmore of laundry was pathetic.
  19. Captain Lee's blog is the best: Ether.
  20. I agree with this. Sometimes teenagers/young adults make early mistakes, including drinking and breaking the law, and eventually grow up to be responsible parents. For Aubree's sake I hope that's what happens. Dr. Drew really pissed me off in the interview with Chelsea. He played along with the "Cole is Aubree's New Daddy" narrative, even though as a psychologist (or whatever) he knows how unhealthy it is for a child to be encouraged down that path. Both on getting attached to someone who might well disappear forever, and also of denigrating the biological father and trying to get her attached to a "replacement." When he asked Chelsea about Aubree's feelings, he took the questions straight from the parental alienation/coaching scene from the show - the one where Chelsea interrogated Aubree and asked her a bunch of leading "yes or no" questions to get the answers that she wanted. ("Do you wish your Dad was more like Cole?" etc.)
  21. He was horrible to Jo. Horrible. To the point that even Kail looked like it was too much. Jo has arguably made the biggest sacrifices of these teen parents, by moving and following Kail after she took Isaac three hours away and subjected the child to six-hour round trip drives for visitation. It's a lot of effort to move and uproot your life. He was even willing to sacrifice his current relationship for the sake of his child. Nearly everyone else in the group puts their relationship drama first over their children.
  22. I have sympathy for Gracie, because from what we've seen and also when Miranda told them about the new baby, Leah's issues have already pushed her into the role of caretaker at the age of five! Poor girl. Great Kazu - Great comments on ADHD. Thanks for your insight.
  23. Agree. It's inexcusable to not have your pick of fresh seafood on a Bahamian yacht charter, FFS! As for the rest of my opinions on Leon, boom - Giselle dropped the mic on that one! No more need be said.
  24. Only because she finally found another dick. Before that, she was still hooking up with Adam from time to time. Chelsea is such a mental m***** that Dr. Drew had to spend half her segment asking her about her pet pig. She can't engage on any adult topic without her father there feeding her lines.
  25. I was never an Eddie fangirl, but even if I was, his "hey gurl" late-night texts to Rocky would have killed it. What a cheeseball. I also wasn't impressed with his next-day TH, "That was a bad idea because I have a girlfriend (and I broke my rule of not hooking up on charter)." If there was ever any debate in the Kate versus Leon argument, then watching Amy try to reason with him answered any questions. He straight up admitted he didn't give a fuck about the guests! Wow!
