  1. This is what I was asking above. In ep 1 of this season, Hardison returns. Everyone welcomes him and Parker - dressed in a crab costume - gives him a weird dopey hug. We're supposed to believe he's been gone for weeks/months but she doesn't kiss him when he returns? Of course maybe I'm projecting a bit. When I saw Hardison again I wanted to climb Aldis Hodge like a tree. And now we have them both being sexy as hell and still no kiss. I have to admit that this version of Parker & Hardison reminds me of Nate and Sophie in The Frame-Up Job. They just know each other down to their bones and they have a sweet, weird sort of love.
  2. Have we ever seen Parker and Hardison kiss? Because I would kiss Hardison all the time if I were her.
  3. I'm not liking the clothing this season. That green suit on Sophie is atrocious. Whoever handled wardrobe in the final season on TNT should be brought back
  4. So how does this community handle Christmas/holiday commercials? Is there/should there be a separate thread? I've already got one ad driving me crazy. Where do I talk about it? 😀
  5. It's obvious they knew how much we missed Hardison. They brought him back in the best way. I need to know all the details about Eliot's sandwich. It looked like bread instead of an everything bagel. I'm still amazed that we're getting new Leverage episodes. I never imagined this. It is.
  6. I liked that Ava asked if the child was unsafe. Whatever her issues we've been shown that she cares about Abbott's students. God help anyone who hurts a child on Abbott's watch. That's a Very Special Episode waiting to happen.
  7. I do want to show some love to this ep for seeing Valerie Pettiford and Malik Yoba. I've loved both actors for so long. Pettiford from her time on One Life to Live and Yoba from New York Undercover. My Gen-X soul was happy.
  8. This. The idea that Bev was faking dementia just so Jackie would come visit is just so paranoid. Why wouldn't Bev just ask Harris to tell Jackie that she needs to see her?
  9. Except Darlene wasn't the whistleblower. Robyn was. Darlene has no such protections. I saw Parsons in August Osage County a few years back. She was amazing. I liked seeing her again even if this storyline bothered me. Jackie has turned into such an ugly character.
  10. I'm glad somebody mentioned this. This version of Janine works my nerves. I get that the character is supposed to be hopeful and earnest but this is where she borders on reckless. I just want them to dial back on her insecurity a little.
  11. Same. It's completely nonsensical. I truly wonder who developed this idea and who signed off on it because they both should be sent for a brain scan.
  12. I wanted him taken out. I just did. Having Athena ventilate the guy would be a good message to send to incel communities. I don't recall Darius from before but no biggie. I like seeing May be confident and capable.
  13. I'll admit it. I miss Bishop. Or at least I miss his vibe with Robyn. I miss having someone on the show who knows her whole history. I don't know what to make of this new boss for her. We'll see. I don't understand the big deal about training Dee. If it was up to me girls would start learning martial arts in grade school and at the very least Dee should learn about gun safety: how many weapons are in the house, the combination to the gun safe, etc... I don't agree with Robyn that it would make Dee grow up too fast. I'm pretty sure watching her friend get gunned down in a drive-by took care of that. What was it Vi said she was cooking? She lays out one hell of a table.
  14. My new most hated commercial are the Old Navy commercials with Jennifer Coolidge. I know they like to be quirky but this is just grating. Although I confess that Coolidge always rubs me the wrong way.
  15. Was Kai in this episode? If so I completely blocked them out which...yay me!
  16. Those two should never have gotten married. Maggie is too emotionally stunted for marriage. I remember that. I also remember a story of lightning striking a soccer match in, I think, Chile and it killed a lot of people on the field.
  17. When Louis failed to decapitate Lestat completely I knew something was up. Claudia should've ensured complete separation.
  18. This is why I think she'll go to Minnesota. That would be her choosing to focus full-time on curing Alzheimer's while Zola attends Wakanda High School.
  19. I had completely forgotten about Helm. In fact I've realized that I've completely forgotten everything about last season. I have no idea who's still on this show or isn't. Every time Bailey shows up with Prue I get confused because most of that story happened on Station 19 and the part that happened on Grey's didn't mean shit to me. I don't know what to make of Bailey anymore. I just don't. Meredith almost always works my nerves but I love her relationship with Zola. "I'll pick you up anytime from anywhere. Always." Who among us hasn't needed to hear that? Thanks. I thought I missed something.
  20. Bringing Teddy and Owen back was a mistake. Their relationship has moved from dysfunctional to absolutely toxic. It's hard to believe that they were once even friends. What happened to Megan and Farouk? Not that I want to see them again I just can't remember what happened to them. I did appreciate the show addressing how they were using the cadavers and giving some details about the process. I had a friend who donated her body to science and some of those scenes really started getting to me.
  21. I had decided to quit this show after the last episode but then I saw this was the Halloween episode and I had to wade in. I'm glad I did. This was a good solid Conner Halloween. One of the most frustrating things about this show is when they act like we didn't spend nearly a decade with these characters. Jackie talking about her mother taking her trick or treating then stealing her candy annoyed me. This show has Jackie talk about Bev as if we never saw them interact. Bev had her issues but I don't see her making Jackie massage her legs while stealing Jackie's candy. OTOH, Dan's description of why Halloween became so important in their family was a lovely bit of character-grounded writing. Dan and Rosanne came up in dysfunctional families where Thanksgiving and Christmas sucked (I can relate.) so they decided to embrace Halloween. I agreed with Harris' stance here but she demonstrated something that annoys me about a certain crop of activists. She has no concern how her activism might negatively impact innocent people. Darlene paid the price, however minor, for Harris' politics alienating the neighbors. "Catcher in the Rye" totally snuck up on me. I kept wondering why Darlene was dressed as a sandwich. Then I thought maybe it's a reuben which could be a callback to Louise's bar mitzvah gig. How do we get such awesome costumes on characters with such godawful makeup on these actors? Is spray tanning still a thing? Because that's the only explanation I can think of.
  22. How convenient it was for Darla to find a lawyer the day after the storm who could take hours out of their day to draft four very complex legal contracts?
  23. I agree with you that Dee's a lot better now than she was. I think they leaned away from making her fragile and PTSD-ridden and toughened her up. Introducing her to Mel and Harry was a good idea because it builds her support system and gives the character other outlets for her emotions. Think of the fact that she called Mel after Robyn was abducted and called Harry to fix their cable. The next time Aunt Vi makes her cassoulet I hope it's a big family dinner with Mel, Harry, and Dante and Dante's kids. Oh dear, I think I just wrote the Christmas episode.😃 I disagree with you on Miles. He asked Robyn over and over again for an explanation and she gave him nothing. She could end this custody battle with an explanation.
  24. Oh yay. They brought back Kai. Nick always seems overwhelmed and slightly stoned. I know there's been plenty of discussion about Meredith as a mother and I mostly stay out of those but I was 100 behind her anger at Zola being assessed without her knowledge. Nick needs to be little more careful in his interactions with Zola. As soon as he found her wandering he should've called or texted Mer just to let her know, especially since we know Zola's having panic attacks. Come on Nick do better. I didn't think it was possible but Teddy and Owen are even more toxic than they were before.
