  1. At least there is a potential witness to (hopefully) prevent Stephan from becoming violent when he visits, or if not to prevent then to corroborate so he can actually get the criminal charges he deserves if he does it again. I don't remember ever actually seeing Stephan's mother before this episode, maybe I missed it before. Seems like total damage control on the part of the producers to get her into a scene showing some reaction to his behavior even though it meant flying him to FL.
  2. I watched random snippets of Hallmark Christmas movies throughout the past week. One lesson I've learned about the New England area: Vermont is where the Christmas spirit lives (but only in small towns) and Boston is where it is dead, apparently. Sure, all big cities are bad and small towns are good in this Hallmark fantasy world, but these are the two places I seem to see most often.
  3. Ugh so angry with Kyler what a cruel POS. And Stephan is absolutely APPALLED at the idea he's expected to provide financial support for his son. Was there something we weren't seeing, like maybe Kayla gets paid for the show and he's expecting the child support to come from that? Otherwise his anger at being asked to pay a mere pittance towards that son he claims to love so much is perplexing. I didn't notice Jade's mom taking the computer. If it was for drug money it only makes Jade's overall situation more sad. Of all the young moms she has the least (visible) support from her own mom. It seems like her mom will help but there are always underlying motives. And that boyfriend/stepdad makes me nervous.
  4. Haven't really been following this show for the past few seasons but I caught this episode today at the gym. I'm really noticing how the three older sisters, as they get older, resemble Kris--especially around the eyes. In regards to the DNA, honestly I still have a hard time believing Khloe is truly Robert Kardashian's daughter, but in matters like this (I know a few other families with similar scenarios,) at the end of the day I feel that the man who raised the child as his own is the father.
  5. I'm with you on that. It seems the viewers want family drama and/or a stubborn, tyrannical business owner, and if the show can find a business that combines both then jackpot! But some of us are in the minority and would rather just watch Marcus assess a business and its issues like only he can. He's what keeps me watching, not the tears that are shed in every damn episode!
  6. They showed each couple's ugliest, most cringe-inducing moments and the audience clapped (for what?) while each couple looked painfully embarrassed. That was awkward. I was hoping we'd get to see the babies now that they're a little older. Jade's mom vs. Shen, who is crazier? Shen I guess but Jade's mom with her (paraphrasing here:) "sure I've been convicted of a few misdemeanors and spent time in jail but I'm not like a criminal or anything...those tabloids need to get their facts straight." I'm no lawyer but I'm pretty sure that does make you a criminal.
  7. Baby Kloie is very cute. There was a great scene in the episode when Jade and Sean were in therapy, she was sitting up with a big happy smile on her face like, "I don't know what this is, but it sure looks like it will be fun!"
  8. Totally, they're a dime a dozen and there was nothing unique about those designs. As far as males I would think if they're buying at all it's based on ruggedness (not a more masculine graphic) because most guys I know seem to have cracked screens so clearly they drop their phones a lot. Missed opportunity there but then Matt is a bad businessman on many levels, this episode should be renamed "The Douchery." I am rooting for his business partners however.
  9. Stephan claims he is "more eligible" to take care of the baby because he's been around more babies. I think you mean "more capable." Not that it's true, and I liked Kayla's smartass response that he hadn't spent much time with his own baby.
  10. Brianna needs to step up her eyebrow game if she wants to keep up with the other baby mamas, those girls are rocking some serious brows, especially Lexi. I think that was my only takeaway from this episode, except I agree with the others who feel Brianna seems incapable of being single for more than five minutes. As her mom said, not good for the baby as he gets older, having too many dad figures in and out of his life.
  11. He's not as temperamental as some of the other baby dads but out of all of them he seems the least affectionate towards his baby.
  12. And surprisingly, as we saw in previous episode, he has a pretty normal mom (not one of the crazy moms) who totally calls him out on his bad, mean behavior. Too bad he didn't take that to heart.
  13. That object way over on the right is a pair of pink earbuds. Oops sorry I next post after me is correct, I was looking at the right.
  14. For me, as the baby dads go Bar is the only one who doesn't have red flags all over the place. At the other end of the spectrum is Stephan, he is so scary. Run, Kayla, run! That baby is so beautiful. Maybe (long shot) in five years Stephan will have some growth and maturity (or maybe just five more babies).
  15. I'm assuming the show paid for it. They have to manufacture/script/fund some activities to keep the story line going. Otherwise these (financially) poor people would just sit at home and argue.
  16. I think I'm more sympathetic to Jade than others. Boyfriend is kind of a mean-spirited guy, she seems to have post-partum depression and wth kind of childhood is she still recovering from? Her homeless parents showed up unexpectedly and were crashing on her bed and she was in such a stupor that she barely batted a (fake) eyelash.
  17. I doubt anyone's reading this but I watch older episodes on Discovery channel at my gym. I saw this one yesterday and YES I agree with you that was my first thought. I finished my workout on day 20 but since he made it that far I assume he made it to 21 days but on what, exactly? We never saw him eat anything.
  18. No question Bar is a people-pleaser eager to please his mom and Ashley yet he'll never please them both and I can't blame Ashley, that woman is extremely unstable and she'd drive anyone crazy. Bar is so totally the opposite of Stephan and Kyler. Where is the family counseling for all of these very troubled people? Reality cameras and producers making them have Very Important Conversations are not the same thing. These poor babies don't stand a chance.
  19. I'm with you on that--amazing performance! As far as the question about "We are occupied," Jerusalem was occupied by Rome, which is why Caesar was consulted about crucifying Jesus. (Hope I'm right.)
  20. I noticed that too. I agree with those who think Jade is a sad piece of work, her boyfriend seems like an ass and her parents are barely there for her. Even her doctor seemed more interested in screen time than genuine concern about who the heck is going to help her when the baby is born, considering she comes to all her appointments alone.
  21. Speaking of which there is a noticeable lack of dads' involvement for all of these teens. Besides Jade mentioning her dad in passing (as in, he lost his job after he failed his drug test) not seeing any sign of the dads of the young moms or dads. Sad because it's a cycle, and likely these babies are at higher risk for minimal involvement from their birth dads.
  22. Yikes. And posting their phone numbers too. She's in the show, at least the first episode. You'd think there would be contracts signed that they wouldn't do crazy stuff like this.
  23. I watched about 15 minutes of the first episode and it was so boring. Holly and Rodney were as overly cheerful and phony as they are in the Lipozene commercial.
  24. Totally, it was in the first episode I think, then we basically never saw it again. I seem to remember they both supposedly had it. We lost my Dad on Veteran's Day, and by coincidence he was a vet. It's always a hard day for my family. I could relate to each member of the Pearson family having a coping strategy for how they get through that day each year.
