  1. And his plot is right next to Meri’s plot. That is just weird. Meri will spend her days staring out the window trying to catch a glimpse of Kody. You would think he would want to be next to Janelle since he knows she won’t bother him.
  2. At most she is probably taking one or two classes a semester at a community college so it wouldn’t be that expensive. Maybe a few hundred dollars a semester with books. I am not holding my breath for Maddie to finish school. This is someone who was all about going away to college to be a lawyer (I think) and then just quit to either plan her wedding or just be with Caleb. Something like that but it wasn’t explained why she couldn’t continue her schooling. At some point she will likely stop going to school and never mention it again. Just like her mom’s newly discovered ways to get healthy and lose weight that changes everything.
  3. Janelle was just renting that house so I assume the garden was there when she moved in, even if it was just a basic one. She has left that house now so there is no reason to stay in flagstaff if it was all about the garden. I need to live in the world Meri inhabits where there is a chance that men who don’t want me will fall madly in love with me if I talk positively about it and remain hopeful (George Clooney, I am waiting). Do they all just believe they can will these houses into existence or is it just part of a group delusion? Why are they pretending they will ever build on that property? If they had that type of money, paying for Ysabel’s surgery wouldn’t have been a problem and no one would need to be involved with crappy MLMs.
  4. Am I the only one who thought the long-time realtor was the girlfriend of the other’s dad and that’s why he gave them the loan? I just did not see these two as friends in any way and didn’t feel like even liked or respected each other. I wouldn’t be surprised if the house has never actually gone on the market because it could not pass a city inspection. I don’t know why if they weren’t going to put a deck off the bedroom that they just didn’t close up the door and make a big window. I would have turned the room under the garage into a media room or something where you wouldn’t want a lot of light coming in. The design of the bathrooms was just awful. Too many things going on at once.
  5. I am on the train of none of these people are actually using Plexus, just selling it. They might make a drink for Instagram or wherever they are promoting it but not taking it on a daily basis.
  6. I would bet Meri doesn’t even have a rental in Flagstaff anymore. She is rarely there and it’s easy to get a hotel room when they need to film with her. Maybe she made a friend there who lets Meri use the house as her rental when needed for filming. I just can’t see a reason for Meri to rent a place she rarely uses. I could see it for the first season in Flagstaff when there was hope of a Meri storyline needing the use of a house but there is really no point now.
  7. The seasons are probably also so spaced apart because it takes a lot of time to find anything interesting going on with reality people. That’s why there are always so many trips and weird events they plan because everyday life is too boring for TV even for a polygamous family who seems to pay the bills with air.
  8. The other wives likely can’t say anything because of their contract with TLC. Maybe TLC only wanted Christine and Kody’s statements to drive interest in the season. You don’t want the other wives to give anything away. For all we know they are fine with the the “divorce” now but were livid when it was actually happening.
  9. I would be surprised if they even owned all four plots in prairie dog lane come spring. I have to wonder if they haven’t tried to sell them already but couldn’t get any bites.
  10. Kody came across as so angry last season that I don’t believe he was happy with any of the wives or himself. Something else was going on that wasn’t shown. Maybe he doesn’t even know. I can’t imagine he is all sunshine when with Robyn. I can completely believe Robyn is miserable with Kody. These people have been scraping by because of the show. I can’t imagine what Kody is going to do to pay the bills on that big house once the show ends. I know someone said he supposedly sells at gun shows or something but I can’t imagine that’s enough to pay the mortgage on a nearly million dollar house or take care of Robyn and her kids. I have no reason to believe he will be financially supporting the non-Robyn kids.
  11. I admit to being shocked that it was Christine to leave first, although Meri hasn’t been part of the family for years. Since this show is always years behind, I think it’s entirely possible Christine announced her intention to leave months ago, if not a year ago. She just waiting to get herself together, let ysabel heal and graduate from high school. I think this gives them at least two more seasons. This season will be the final breakdown and Christine announces her intention to leave and one season of house everyone is coping with Christine having left. They likely released their statements today since the new season is about to start. My guess is this is pretty much the end of Kody’s relationship with his kids with Christine. I can’t see them going to see them very often. Won’t Gabe be the only one left in Arizona? And isn’t he in college? I can’t see Gabe spending his free time Kody and Robyn.
  12. Mariah likely has to wait to see which way the wind is blowing before she champions any cause. Can’t take chance when will be on the wrong side of history.
  13. I grew up near View Park and was excited it would be on the show. This was a major disappointment. It’s an upper middle class area and turnover is not high. It’s a family neighborhood. People live in those homes for 50 years. View Park is a hidden gem of very nice homes. They are more classic than modern, which may be why I was not a fan of the remodeling job. The kitchen was small. I don’t know why they put down fake grass in the back. It doesn’t make sense to do so when you build a doggie bath. If you think your buyer may have dogs and kids, real grass makes more sense.(I will not go into my hatred of fake grass.) I was surprised they didn’t put fake grass in the front but they seemed to forget it was there since they didn’t bother to cut the grass. The golf area was just stupid and I hated the fireplaces. These two should not flip anymore houses, either together or alone. They started out by saying they did their research and took classes but none of that is reflected in house. There was no theme to their decorating. I don’t think I liked anything about the house but, due to the area and the market, they were guaranteed to make a big profit.
  14. I live in Southern California. Before covid, my friends and I went to Disneyland a couple of times a year. Once during the summer and then during Christmastime. We love it. It’s we see it as a happy place. It’s more than the rides. Half the fun is planning what we are going to eat and looking forward to the fireworks. Just the atmosphere it great. It might be easier and more enjoyable for us because it’s only an hour away and we don’t have to spend money on flights or a hotel.
  15. It’s odd that Meri didn’t brag about Mariah graduating with her Masters or Mariah bragging about it herself.
  16. I vaguely recall someone on this forum performing research and finding out there was no type of adoption and the kids were still using their birth last name. I think Kody had some type of form where he could take them to the hospital or something in an emergency but nothing actually changed. Their birth dad is still their dad and regularly sees them. I have always believed this was nothing more than a storyline to get the divorce from Meri so Robyn could become head wife.
  17. None of this story makes sense. I don’t think Dougie was actually adopted by Rachel, it’s likely she just has guardianship. If Rachel actually adopted him, she would have the same rights as a birth mother and there wouldn’t be any custody battle with a father set to be in prison for years. Blood doesn’t mean anything when an adoption has occurred. The rest of the family wouldn’t have a claim when he has a safe environment with his legal mom. I doubt Doug’s family has the money, or the inclination, to go through a prolonged fight for Dougie. I would love to see the police records for that family.
  18. I don’t think Robyn ever wanted her kids close to the Brown siblings. She seems to have wanted Kody but not his other kids. The Brown kids grew up very closely together, especially in the early years. They likely had to stick together while dealing with people on the outside not fond of their family being polygamists. Or just dealing with their fighting parents. I think it would have been difficult for Robyn’s kids to come into a situation with so many kids, so many moms and coming from a place of one dad, one mom and one set of kids. Now one dad, four moms and eleventy kids. It would be a difficult situation to navigate.
  19. Did Jenelle buy the RV? If so, I can’t imagine wasting money on something you only plan to live in four or five months of the year when your child doesn’t have a full-time home to live in. They didn’t even travel in it, which to me is the whole point of an RV. Instead, she just sat it on prairie dog lane so she can look at a whole bunch of nothing.
  20. A couple of years ago I went to London for 10 days over Christmas, with the flight, hotel, activities, food and endless Harry Potter souvenirs, I probably spent around $3k. Of course I booked four months in advance to get a better deal and don’t have kids on whom that money would be better spent. For $7k, I would be on European vacation stopping in as many countries as possible. Then again, that might just be encouraging Tiffany to find a new loser to be “dad”’to her kids before her cold shoulders turned angry at him for being the loser everyone already knew him to be. I would be so ashamed to say I spent $7k on that trip even if it was a lie. No one is envious of her trip and I think that was the whole point of mentioned it’s alleged cost.
  21. I think Christine is too hardcore into the importance of polygamy as part of her religion to actually leave her “marriage” to Kody. She may be furious with him but believes she is bound to him for eternity. I think she is selling the house because she cannot afford to keep it. I wouldn’t doubt she had another interest only loan for the first couple of years whose payment now increases or some type of shady loan only had by the Browns. It’s likely she just can’t afford to pay medical bills and a mortgage on what she makes on MLMs and her portion of the TLC money. With all the traveling Christine does, I highly doubt she has much in savings.
  22. I never thought Michael was as rich as he claimed. The house he was living in when he was first on the show seemed every small and cramped for a man bragging about his “wealth”. The house he later bought was huge but seemed very dated and looked like it needed a lot of work. I always assumed the ex-wife was the one with the money and figured she was happy he was remarrying so she could stop paying him alimony.
  23. I don’t think the photo means Truly is being fed too much. I don’t really like the term overfed because she isn’t a dog. Maybe she isn’t being fed the healthiest foods but it doesn’t mean she is given too much food. I don’t like the idea of saying you can only have this amount of food today and no more if you are still hungry. I was a very picky kid when it came to eating. My mother would totally load my plate up with a lot of different things because she wouldn’t know what I would eat or how much of it I would eat. If I ate it all, she was fine. If I ate until I was full, she would be fine. As long as I ate and I wasn’t still hungry, she would be happy. Sometimes I would only want a can of corn, or in my Popeye obsessed days, a can of spinach. As long as I was eating, it was fine.
  24. In one of the early episodes, Tarek said you need to appeal to the masses and remember you aren’t designing for yourself. You want a place to appeal to the most amount of people. I feel like these flippers never follow that rule. Buena Park is a middle class neighborhood. People who want to live there are not expecting Newport Beach level decor. I feel the flippers don’t even think about what potential buyers actually want. I liked the flippers but the bathroom floor was ridiculous. I do wonder how they lost $40k on a flip in Southern California. In this market, you have to work hard to take a loss.
  25. Britney is what, 30? There is no reason she needs to rush into having a baby with a man who doesn’t want a baby with her. Britney keeps saying something to the effect that she is running out of time to have a baby. I am guessing she is going to say she has some medical condition that can make it harder to have a baby if she waits too long, like until 32. The sober house guy allegedly stealing money but they want furniture story makes no sense. I am not sure why anyone with money would pay for a brand new sober house run by ex-cons with no experience in running anything. No way would insurance pay out to a place like that.
