Given this week and the chance for some scathing comedy, it felt like the show was neutered. Felt the same with Bill Maher this week.

Great cold open. The only thing that has made me laugh all week is Jost trying to get Che in trouble. Smart angle to come at it from. I think so.

I was so irritated about what they did to Yasuda, I dreamed that I posted about it here.

I love Gregory so much. I really appreciate that the show isn't doing the familiar "relationship drama continues" that a lot of shows do, sometimes well (Cheers), sometimes not.

With a newborn and a two-year-old, he probably hasn't.

There were good lines in the cold opening, but I'm just too nerve-wracked about the election to be able to laugh at it. I still think they write trump too benign, especially now. I was really sad during most of the NASA/Beppo sketch. Worried/sad animals do me in. I'm an outlier on the Mullaney musical sketches. I just never enjoy them. His opening standup was good. My favorite sketch of the night was Harvey Epstein.

I missed why Deshaun's mom needs help with bathroom things? Anybody else think Josh looks like Nate Bargatz?

I was kind of glad. I'm enjoying this non-hysterical era of Grey's.

I loved Melissa loving the guinea pig, even though it was predictable. The kids using her hand gestures at the end was priceless. Good episode!

Maya's Kamala impression is mind-blowingly good. There are times she sounds exactly like her. Meh show, though, except for WU, of course.

I loved this episode. One of my favorites.

My favorite part of My Best Friend's House was the Luminol reveal.

This was a good energy show. I really liked the Family Feud sketch. It's too bad Dana Carvey wasn't Biden the past 4 years. Although I agree with those who think Biden should be played smarter. The bridesmaid sketch needed Chloe Troast. She can really sing and the show needs that. I still don't get why she and Molly were canned. (It seems like Punkie left of her own volition, but who knows if that's true?) WU is always good and I enjoyed Ego and Oasis. The 2 Jennifers sketch was fun Ariana's a good host. So multitalented. So best show of the season so far for me. Not hilarious but fun enough. Bring on Pedro Pascale!

It's such a bummer every year when The Bear gets Abbott's Emmys. I like The Bear, although Season 3 sucked. But it's NOT a comedy. It's a drama. That said, Abbott is such a gem.

I'm actually kind of liking Robyn this episode??????

Dead Guy on a slide was fun. George Washington 2.0 was still fun. The rest was meh. Sorry to say it, but Nate Bargatze's opening monologue felt like listening to an old person (like me) tell a dull story. Weekend Update, always reliable!

I just don't get why they let Chloe and Molly go. I don't usually notice wardrobe, but Jean's monologue white silk and pink suit and her green outfit introducing Jelly Roll #2 were stunning. Thought the show was meh, though, but the math book sketch was pretty funny.
