  1. I love a good handbag, although I won't spend a few thou for one because it's not in my budget, I will save for what I want and I enjoy what I have. The LV's I've purchased are timeless and will last a lifetime, it's money well spent imo. I thought Eileen's reaction and thoughts about her lack of carrying an expensive handbag was refreshing and awesome in a town where just about everyone is superficial. She's a successful woman and more importantly well-grounded and from what I've seen doesn't place as much importance on material goods as much as the rest, and instead values relationships and putting her energy into her family in a very hands-on way. I did notice Lisar's gorgeous set of iconic LV luggage when packing for SD -- love it. Regarding the way Erica relayed to her crew about her husband's call on the bus, it wasn't so much the way she looked when she said 'the boss is calling' so much as the way she said it, she seemed annoyed, almost as if he was checking up on her. I agree, her husband is financing her singing "act".
  2. Did Bravo think this season would be lackluster enough to ask Bethenny to appear on 2 shows? No No No -- no more Bethenny. Enough is enough.
  3. Yes, he was that. I am profoundly happy to have acquired my own 3 signed copies from my beloved great aunt who was a book curator from Boston. LOL!!!!
  4. The h/w's are given contracts with large salaries simply because they are related. I don't feel sorry for any hw that has sibling drama on their show. If Kyle doesn't want to talk about what is going with Kim then she should stop renewing her contract with Bravo. Yet she has continued to do so, for 6 seasons now. Same goes for the NJ Housewives. Bravo doesn't pay the h/w's hundreds of thousands of dollars over the years to watch them sip politely from teacups and chat about butterflies. Sibling rivalry, jealousy, mental illness and substance abuse are what warms Andy Cohen's cockles (ewww, did I just say that??!). And the h/w's fully know it. No sympathy from me. .
  5. Eh, I may not share her decorating aesthetic but I kinda liked that she did her own thing. I'm sorta thinking she's pretty nostalgic and sentimental, which may be why she holds onto an outdated decorating style and excessive stuff. I don't get the feeling that she and Vince are swimming in dough -- looks like they live within their means which is another thing I like about Eileen.
  6. I agree. Depression, anxiety, and brain fog are also symptoms related to menopause. And I'd be seriously depressed after leaving her beautiful, spacious, open, breezy home with a view of the ocean for a small and rather dull looking city apartment. Not that their apartment is shabby by any means, but it's like comparing apples to oranges, or dare I say lemons, in comfort and retreat-like atmosphere.
  7. I think what we see with Yolanda is a woman that is beyond symptomatic of Lyme disease, but additionally dealing with menopause, depression, an unhappy marriage and a change of life/lifestyle in the daily caretaking of young children and occupying her time in creative home decorating. She has taken the whole approach to holistic healing waaaay too far. She stubbornly refuses to adopt a more integrative approach with the practice of prudent Western medicine along with alternative treatment. People like Yolanda and Suzanne Somers living in Southern California where it's more the the norm to approach healing in a bohemian zen-like manner cannot see the forest through the trees. The only way I see her coming out of this having now split with David is when she relents and herself to puts herself in the care of traditional and/or integrative medical professionals and is forced to get out of the bed and put herself out there so she doesn't end up alone.
  8. Yep, that and 'ol David likes all the attention on him. We all predicted this would happen after we saw what a narcissistic a-hole he turned out to be pretty early on in Yolanda's first season.
  9. Another over-paid reality tv stint to enable her drinking, drugging, and overspending. Oy vey.
  10. I'll sorta miss BJ too. Took me a looonng time for me to get used to him, he really began to grow on me and come into his own about the time Jack was kidnapped. Billy Miller needs to come back instead.
  11. Screw Janelle's book -- I want Barbara to write one. Give that woman a talk show or a spinoff. Hell, give her a mini-series!
  12. I liked this episode of Lost Footage more than any other LF episodes from any of the franchises any given year. Ramona said the same thing to Mario about loving him more today than the day they married at her vow renewal also -- and look how that turned out. I'm probably going out on a limb saying this, but don't most married couple's love for one another grow deeper than the day they married?? Aside from being married to a lying, cheating lump or just growing apart -- call me crazy, but I can't imagine loving mrblossom the same or less than I did when we tied the knot almost 18 years ago. Sure, the sizzle becomes more of slow burn over time, but it's more sustainable that way, and there are still moments of sizzle just like there are seasons of weathering the storm. I mention it bc it struck me funny, it's almost as though Kristen an Ramona remark on this level of feeling for ther spouse to be unique in married relationships. <shrug>
  13. HFC, I hope that with the contacts you're in touch with will bring you a bit of hope and some peace of mind that at the very least there are agents of influence and power on the ground that are now armed with knowledge of the situation. It sounds like, with your SIL's track record, that this scheme of his will go belly up and they'll be back home in a matter of months with him moving onto the next shiny object that grabs his attention. I know that's of no comfort to you now, and I hate that your daughter and grands have to suffer the collateral damage of SIL's whims. [sigh] and ((hugs)) WW, you are a strong and fierce woman and you have my respect and belief that you are going to get through this and come out on the other side triumphantly. Scarred, yes, but not defeated, and more insightful and thoroughly aware of the most valuable things in life. Maisie is your blood and true north, and I've no doubt that she will follow in your footsteps.
  14. ^^^ It definitely makes him cuter, Happy! Aw, he's got so much character and a lot of maturity for such a young guy. He's on his way, you should be really proud. :)
  15. OK, well I see things through a different lens I guess, Flowers and I'm getting called out for a difference of opinion, I'm sorry that it seems offensive to you -- right or wrong. Can we just agree to disagree? What's right is right" is subjective, IMO. And BTW, the only thing I have taken issue with is Daniel making public, otherwise we're on the same page.
  16. ^^^Pretty much, Chaos Theory. Sucks to be a woman in Gothard's world.
  17. I get it, HFC, I really do and I respect your opinion. I'm inclined to agree with every single one of your points on this, except that Daniel made it public. Why? Because it shows a lack of respect to his folks, I say this as someone who doesn't have the benefit of having her folks around anymore. There are many days I wish I could have just one more day with my parents, even if we didn't see eye to eye on things, and I guess that's what shapes my opinion on the subject. My family history is nothing like Daniel's and Anna's, but it was a pretty dysfunctional and sometimes very toxic and judgmental (and a rather lonely experience for me because I chose to live my life on my terms instead of living to please my parents). As much as I disagreed with them (and in turn rejected by them), I tried not to disrespect them -- even in my anger and pain. I realize I'm in the minority in my opinion -- I'm okay with that and I stand by it. For the record, I love you too and your posts are everything.❤️
  18. I think it's pretty likely that someone associated with the Kellers will show them Daniel's FB comments. I don't disagree with your post, and thank you for giving me the history on Anna's family/sibling background. I agree that the Kellers are self-serving assholes with tunnel vision. The only problem I had with Daniel's post was that he made it public; I know that's unpopular to say here. Opinions are like assholes -- everyone has one.
  19. Breast implants? I don't know, I always thought she had generous looking boobs. They didn't have that springy lift that fake boobs do, they always looked rather soft and struggled to fit into ill-fitting brassieres. Jmo.
  20. The wedding guest wearing the Facebook t-shirt!! Lol.
  21. I don't think Anna wants to be reached or rescued. Fog or no fog, she's committed to staying in her marriage (I wouldn't, but that's me). The only way I see her leaving, is if Josh slides back into this lifestyle of secretive adultery, that, or more crap comes out that he hasn't come clean with.
  22. I'm glad Anna has a brother who wants to support her, and as interesting as it is for us to get the perspective from a sibling, I think he's an asshole for putting this on social media. The tabloids will get ahold of this and it'll get more media attention. Her parents certainly may be (selfishly) concerned about how it would reflect on them if she ever left Josh, but I think her brother is a jerk to be disrespectful to his parents by putting this out there. It's not a good look for the brother, IMO.
  23. I worked for a Jewish family owned jewelery company several years ago and about 1/2 the staff were Jewish also, it was really interesting and I enjoyed the culture of it -- a couple of them didn't work on Friday evenings thru Saturday, which worked out great for me because I could usually take every Sunday off. I used to carpool to work 3 or 4 times a week for a couple years with an older Jewish man who became a sort of grandpa to me, he had the most hilarious inappropriate sense of humor, which I adored. He was such a fascinating character -- he was fluent in Russian, Mandarin Chinese, and German, which really worked to his advantage because living on the Pacific Rim we had many customers in that demographic and his sales were phenomenal each month. I recently found out he passed away earlier this year.
