S07.E09: Harry's Meat And Gatsby's Fete
msblossom replied to Tara Ariano's topic in The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills
What I want to know is, are they paying Eileen $1M a season (as it was claimed that they procured her for a salary of 1M her first season)? If so, she's waaay overpaid. -
S07.E08: Boys, Blades And Bag Of Pills

The same thought came to me as well. I think she was hired by production to stir things up and create a storyline. Her over-interest in Kim Richards sobriety and calling out Kyle as enabler to Kyle's best friend and anyone else that'll listen is OTT and suspect. I think I'm gonna be sick of hearing the term "sober woman" very soon. I could get a serious buzz on that term if I took a drink for every time it gets used. -
S07.E07: It's Expensive To Be Me

I don't know if the trigger is Lisar's step-sister or not, but she's clearly disliked Kim from the get go. The addiction stuff played a large part, but I think she would have been on the opposite side of Kim, regardless. Kim's not the most likable person, and she's awkward as hell, particularly around women. Lisa Rinna is a fake friendly person, so someone like Kim who isn't social anyway is not going to gel and make pretend with Lisa. The only way Kim connects with other women is when someone else makes all the effort to be friendly without anything to gain by it, and/or acknowledges that Kyle has let Kim down as a sister. Those who come to mind are Adrienne, Camille, Brandi, the Wiccan HW, and Yo. -

I'm hoping that Bravo is allowing Kim's sobriety to be perpetuated at the expense of outing Lisa Rinna's drug problem and eating disorder. There, I said it. If that makes me a bitch, I'm OWNING IT, Rinna. Hypocrtical bitch. Take the log outta your own eye and mind your business. -

I'm not fond of defending Kim, but you are coming off as if you know this for certain. -

It's called a b-tag. Bloomies puts them on their more expensive dresses so they can't be returned. It's not a security tag, once the customer removes the tag you are committed to keeping the dress. -

I don't like Dorit or Eileen right now. I want something more interesting to happen so we can take a departure from sans panties. -

LOL, I have the exact same unfortunate floral dress that Kim's wearing in her TH! My husband is not crazy about it, now I see why. That's going in the donation pile, STAT. I don't really mind that Kim is back for a couple episodes, but I swear they better not be grooming her for a return next season. She's OK in small doses, and her TH's are amusing, but she's a huge bore otherwise and I don't ever want to see her sobriety, or lack thereof, documented again as a storyline in this lifetime or the one to come! Now Camille, on the other hand, is a different story -- I would love to see her come back full time, but she won't. She's been through a hell of a lot with Kelsey, having cancer and being in an abusive relationship. Did anyone else get the sense that she seemed to be in Dorit's corner in her TH after the luncheon at her house? -

I don't really care if Erika can sing or dance well. Her "music" videos are nothing more than vanity projects, funded by her husband. Any money she makes goes right back into the next one, no profit being made there. It gives her something to do, and fills an obvious void. It ain't hurting anyone. I will say I was holding out thinking there would be more substance or at least a more interesting aspect to her personality, but I don't see it. -
S07.E01: Stronger Than Ever
msblossom replied to Tara Ariano's topic in The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills
Oh wow, ZM, your post is GOLD and you had me laughing at the 2nd paragraph, esp "little gnome in a suit husband"! You nailed it! I'm not sure I agree with your opinion about Erika Jayne, as I quite like her, but nevertheless I appreciate your thoughts 100%. I sorta have a good feeling about this season, although I don't want to jinx it, but with no Yolanda and a limited amount of Kim Richards it does give me renewed hope. I quite liked seeing Boy George, and hearing the stories about Andy Warhol and Prince -- this is what BH should be about. And I sorta get a season 1 Camille Grammer-esque vibe from Dorit, which I kinda love bc season 1 Camille was off the chain with pretension and shit stirring which I found entertaining as hell . -

Yeah, her boobs were ginormous. What was wrong with the size of the old ones? Is bigger better? -
Cate and Tyler don't pay attention to the one they have at home. These two idealize EVERYTHING and talk up their plans and dreams, and what-ifs. Yet do NOTHING but sit on their ass, smoke weed and bitch.

S08.E22: Reunion Part 2
msblossom replied to Tara Ariano's topic in The Real Housewives Of New York City
My feeling is that one of the reasons Bethenny hates Luann so vehemently has to do with Lu maintaining an ongoing relationship with Jill. I just don't know if I'm capable of stomaching both Bethenny and Jill Zarin. Jill is so thirsty to get back on this show that she'd swallow her pride and take a low salary. Jill would be interesting and somewhat winsome AT FIRST, but her ick factor would kick in and I just don't know that I want to see he return. And please, no KKB, Kristen, or Heather. Not interested in seeing any of these women return. I have nothing against Heather, but she drains me a little. Here's an unpopular pitch, I could possibly entertain the idea Aviva making a limited return, I liked her first season before she went rogue. Maybe even Aviva and Jill Zarin, since I've heard they see each other socially, although I have no idea if they're friends. Aviva might have been onto something in regard to Carole employing a ghostwriter...would give my eye tooth to know the real scoop on that. Anyway, if Carole HAS to return next season then Aviva might be someone who forces Carole to bring something to the show. And for the love of all things sacred, there would have to be something written in Aviva's contract that prohibits her viagra-addled father from making any appearances. If those two are added, say Jill Z. full-time HW, and Aviva friend of Jill, then they can finally give Sonja the boot. Would like to see Carole downgraded to friend if they insist on bringing her back. Ramona can stay if Carol leaves or gets downgraded, but she needs to come to play and reveal some of her personal life. Jill Zarin may/may not walk on eggshells around B, but she will absolutely call Ramona out on her crap and gossip about what Ramona's hiding. Not sure how Jill would mix with Dorinda, they might be an interesting pair. They must've socially interacted somewhat over the years. -

I don't think Dorinda will keep John off the show, even though that's what she's saying right now. John is partly what makes her interesting. I'm not sure she's using him, she seems content with her life as a single woman in a committed relationship. He's clearly different from her deceased husband and her daughter dislikes him, so based on that I think she will not marry or co-habitate with John any time soon, if ever. She's had the traditional life with traditional men and the traditional marriages; she clearly wants a change from that. She says she loves him. They seem like they have their eyes wide open and are under no illusions about who their with. -

I'm thinking that's where the sting stems from Scoobs. That, and she fancies herself the Carrie Bradshaw of the West Village, who has somewhat of a Peter Pan syndrome herself. -

Carole did have a pretty strong reaction to what Jules said because Carole is clearly hung up on the whole age thing. Her reaction on the reunion was toned down from when she wrote here in her blog where she was clearly stung by Jules age jokes. http://www.bravotv.com/the-real-housewives-of-new-york-city/season-8/blogs/carole-radziwill/carole-radziwill-i-want-to-be -

Awwww, are the mean girls too sensitive to take a little menopausal ribbing?? Shoot, I'm in the throws of menopause myself and it's been crappy at times, but it's a fact of life and I wouldn't boohoo about some obnoxious joking if I dished out the kind of shit both Bethenny and Carole have on Jules. What a couple of pussies, just wave Jules off and carry on! There are worse things in life, geez -

Not sure Jill wants to go up against B again, even if public opinion has tuned on the B. Besides, hasn't Jill been falling over herself trying to make up for her asshole-ery treatment toward Bethenny since 1975 or since the heyday of Al Sharpton or rainbows and jellybeans? -

msblossom replied to Tara Ariano's topic in The Real Housewives Of New York City
True, and apparently out of a job. Well, a full time one at least, if the rumors are true and Jules is returning next season in a limited role and getting downgraded to friend. She and Dorinda were the shows MVPs last night and if she can bring what she brought last night to next season along with her sense of humor and confidence then I hope she gets some decent screen time and symbolically flips Bethenny and Carole the bird. -

I don't know how many times she's been on, but to clear it up I was referring to all the air time she's already been given on RHs only to be reinforced with an immediate follow up on Andy's show. And my point is, it's more defending, more over explaining and lying. She's not doing herself any favors; the more she talks, the worse she looks/sounds. -

Carole strikes me as someone who has never wanted to be on this show, yet here we are 4 seasons in with her. Is she a mean girl? I'm not sure she started off that way, but she definitely gave me vibes from the start that she's stingy from the standpoint of someone who doesn't seem to care to find a connection with people outside her very tight circle. I think she hates being on the show and gloms onto that one person she's actually developed a relationship with. It helped that Bethenny and Heather were utra alphas, so that Carole didn't have to exert herself and fell into the easy role of being a follower. Being a follower of Heather wasn't flattering but geez it looked pretty great next to what she's become with B.
