I didn't know it wasn't written as trendy boobs until you wrote this, and I went back and re-read it!!

My daughter is a gate agent for United, so my husband and I fly free. My daughter totally "schools" anyone she lets use her buddy passes..because she can get in deep trouble (even fired) if the people who use her passes do anything wrong. First she tells them not to act like they are entitled to a seat, and don't stare at, or keep bothering the gate agents to ask "am I going to get ON?!" She tells them the dress code and says you'd better wear nice clothes..no holes, and clean clothes, please! Also, watch your drinking, and better yet, don't do it. She didn't have to tell my husband and me any of this though, because I've been flying standby for 40+ years (my husband used to work for Eastern airlines.) I did it with 5 kids, back in the day when we would always get stuck in the smoking section, cause that section stunk, nobody but smokers wanted to sit there!..but hey, more seats for us standbys..... So basically, I said all that to say this: Those passriders should've known the rules, and if the employee didn't point them out to the buddy pass riders, then they deserve to get in trouble. Which is why my daughter only lets people she really, really trusts to behave to use hers. She says "I didn't work here for over 20 years for you to get me fired by acting like an ASS." Ps sorry...I really wrote way more than I meant to..don't read it ;-)

Ok, what's a Woobie? Urban dictionary and Google didn't help. :)

And Jinger looks like she's wearing a poodle on her head.

My (now) husband and I were TOTALLY unprepared (I was only 16), but ummm..how to say this....we figured it out..VERY quickly! ;-) maybe a little too quickly. Heh But what I feel bad about is that I believe the Duggers preach how " bad and dirty" sex (outside of marriage) is. I imagine it's hard to get over that mindset in your head, even when you're married and now it's OK and encouraged to do it. (Not to mention the molestation component for some of them)

For Peete's Sake - General Discussion
ChiCricket replied to FormerMod-a1's topic in For Peete's Sake
My son in law is extremely smart, but also very dyslexic. He held off becoming a physician until he was forty because of it. They now have so many different ways to be tested (not sure how, but some was oral), that he did became a very good doctor a couple of years ago. So great that the newer tests helped RJ! -
In my family, a lot of us have that toe...my daughter in law was so relieved when she fearfully showed me her newborn daughter's toe, and I said "oh that? We call that the {our surname} toe!" ( Her pediatrician confirmed she was just fine. ) So it doesn't always have dire consequences..it just *is* a toe that is raised a little. Henry's probably fine. All my grands (and my siblings) who have it are very intelligent if I do say so myself. Just my 2¢ :-)

It would be the first and last time my husband ever did that to me..in public, and in front of my kids, and kids-in-law to be. Not saying it would, or wouldn't be ok in private ;-)

OMGosh...you certainly have a way with words!

Thanks everyone for your kind words. I'm probably sharing too much because I'm feeling kind of low. No reason, winter just does that to me. I got diagnosed with SAD..(seasonal affective disorder) years ago. I'm supposed to sit under a special light for it but have been really bad about doing it, and now I'm paying for it. But the light really does help, so I'm going to go read under it for awhile now. As I read, I'll have April the giraffe up on my tablet..Anyone else addicted? ;-)

Ok, one more because my Army daughter was horrified at me posting that picture of her "when she was pregnant with her 2nd child, and FAT, mom!" (her words, not mine..LOL) So here is a picture of said Army daughter on her wedding day, along with her four siblings. (She can't complain how she looked HERE) Daughter to the left of the bride works for the airlines (so my husband I fly free:)..such a nice perk! And daughter to the right of bride was a tv reporter/ news anchor, and now is a SAHM of 3, and is planning on doing other tv work (behind the scenes, she said being on air is too much pressure) once they're all in school:) BTW, these are the high and tight haircuts that make me laugh...(on the inside)..ok..NOW I'm done. ;-)

Congrats..you must be so proud!

I really am! I also have two more daughters...and I'm proud of all 5, and the great people they grew up to be ..not to mention the 13 Grandkids they've given me :)

My son is a Marine, and his "high and tight" haircut always makes me laugh (inside.) I can't remember what he looks like with regular hair. I also have an older son who was in the Marines, and my oldest daughter retired after 20 years in the the Army. Of course, the 'boys' (one will be 40 in a couple of days!) are always (playfully) ragging on their Soldier sister, and vice versa, about Army vs Marines :) I'm including a photo of when all 3 were still in the service (I blacked out their nametags)

In The Movies: Bette & Joan on the Big Screen
ChiCricket replied to Chaos Theory's topic in Feud [V]
Recently, I watched Bette Davis in an episode of Wagon Train. I was thinking how funny it was that even in black and white, you could tell she had on eye makeup, and also a lot of lipstick....playing a pioneer woman. Could you imagine how the dust on the trail would gunk up that thick layer of lipstick in real life? ;-) -

Holly and Rodney support RJ as he attempts to achieve another milestone and pass his drivers permit test. Meanwhile, Uncle Matt reveals he had Parkinson's disease. -
That is so creepy. (the kids are cute, but he's creepy as hell, and he's not their father!!)

I thought only his parents received money (Toby wasn't in the accident) but after googling it, I was mistaken..he DID get a lot of money..I wonder where it all went also. http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2016/09/14/the-willis-clan-no-more-a-christian-family-band-comes-apart-amid-child-rape-allegations.html The badly burned Willis grandparents and the three surviving siblings received a $100 million settlement—one of the largest ever awarded in Illinois.

If anyone else out there is like me (too math challenged/lazy) to figure out when the show will be aired in each time zone), I found this: "Under this new arrangement, the show will air live at : 11:30 p.m. ET 10:30 p.m. CT 9:30 p.m. MT 8:30 p.m. PT "The episodes will also be repeated at 11:30 p.m. for those in the Mountain and Pacific time zones."

The Bates might have hoarder tendencies like my husband. Doesn't matter how many (nice) bikes my Grands have, if he sees one cheap in a garage sale, he is compelled to buy it. Don't even get me started on the pure joy he gets from garbage picking one. So yeah, I can see why the Bates might have so many dang bikes.
