It also needs to be a short, happy book. I have the unfortunate habit of not being able to stop reading until the book is finished, if the book is interesting. I've stayed awake way too late many times, because I have to see how something ends. I need to figure out which books on my Kindle are short for nighttime reading. I miss being able to just grab a (real) book that I know will be short because it's thin, but I don't miss all the hundreds of (actual) books I used to keep all over my house. I'm allergic to dust, so it really helps my allergies not to have all those books to dust off (which tbh, I didn't do often enough.) Thank goodness we can take Kindle books out electronically from our local libraries. Otherwise I would be really, really broke (I also love how the library books just return themselves.) Also, BookBub is great for getting free books. PS. oops sorry, didn't mean to write a book??

I usually have weird nightmares/dreams when I start taking a new medication. Or after reading these forums right before bed. Last night I had a dream about Amy Roloff and their pumpkin farm. I need to read a book right before bed instead. ?

I had the creepiest nightmare last night. I was stuck at the Duggar house and couldn't leave because I couldn't find my cell phone. I was trying to help the kids each get separate bedrooms, when Michelle came in and said "when is your birthday?" In a soft voice and with googly eyes. I felt frozen, couldn't tell her, and she got madder and madder, and then I suddenly woke up in a cold sweat, and I'm still thinking about it an hour later. Sounds funny now, but it was horrifying. PS. Nobody else but you guys would understand ?

It looks like it might be one of those little rice/grain filled pillows you heat in the microwave for aches and pains. (I'm old and use them all the time.)

Josiah and Lauren: He Has To Marry Somebody

Like that weird Putnam(?) family all living together in one house even after they got married? Whatever happened to them? Did I just imagine that show? -
I think it's creepy when a husband calls his wife "mama." Just me?

This question made me remember my sister getting really into having a natural home birth after she joined a very fundamental Bible following church. I remember her saying it was because it 'was in the Bible' that women should suffer, so I googled it: Genesis 3:16 To the woman he said, “I will surely multiply your pain in childbearing; in pain you shall bring forth children. Your desire shall be for your husband, and he shall rule over you.” Maybe that has nothing to do with a home birth, but you sure can't get an epidural at home. Maybe that's the reasoning?

And now, to get my mind off of stupid Florence, I am going to be good, and post something that was getting really OT in the current Counting On thread. @flyingdi wrote that Salvation Army stores were cheaper than Goodwill, which made me remember the following (after I typed it all out, I realized it was way off topic.) The Salvation Army store that just opened near me is organized in the craziest way (to me, at least.) All the clothes are organized in the normal way, such as women's dresses, men's shirts, etc. But all the clothes are organized by color, and not size. I thought well, this is great (because I was looking for a black blouse for a funeral.) Then I started looking through hundreds of black blouses for my size, and after about 10 minutes of searching blouse, by blouse , by blouse..I was out of there and headed to Target. They didn't even have the sizes marked on the price tag. It looks really cool, but trying to find your size in those racks is a nightmare. That's not a normal Salvation Army store way, is it? (because it sucks) ? Ps after re-reading this, and how inane it all sounds, I could have not posted it at all, but I already typed it all out....?

Here I was, glad that my son and his family recently got stationed in Germany, and I didn't have to worry about them being in North Carolina anymore, in case Hurricane Florence hits there. Turns out my son has been in Quantico (Virginia?) For the last 4 days, and is still there now. Good grief. Ps it's not unusual for him to make secret trips that we find out about after he's already back in Germany. I only found out in real time this time because my DIL is frantic Be safe everyone!

I'm not in the least bit religious, but Kevin's incessant use of God, oh God! Is so annoying.

I haven't thought about Rice A Roni in maybe 20 years. Now after reading this forum, I'm sure I'm going to dream endlessly about it tonight. Umm... topic? I think both Darcey and Jessie are control freaks who should stay far, far away from each other. Her poor girls..I'm sure this isn't the first time their mom has been a self absorbed idiot. This is their normal.

Sweet Home Sextuplets - General Discussion
ChiCricket replied to Meredith Quill's topic in Sweet Home Sextuplets
Eric and Courtney Waldrop, are from Boaz, Alabama. They had their first son, Saylor Briggs, 8 years ago. She then suffered several heartbreaking miscarriages. "It was devastating, because I can get pregnant so easily, I just can’t hold on to them,” Courtney said then. They had their 5 year old twins Wales Tucker and Bridge Ryder with the help of fertility treatments. She also suffered a miscarriage before then becoming pregnant with the sextuplets. *info and pic gathered from various online articles* -
I'm fascinated by names also! Your post reminded me of this: PS posted this before I read about Arwen ?

Little Life On The Prairie - General Discussion

I'm going to watch it on demand for the same reason. Ps if anyone else has Dish, don't put "little life" in the search field. I only found it by searching by network, and then found it under TLC as just "On the prairie" ? -

From what I found online,Tyler is 23 and Angela is 26, so only a 3 year difference. But I think Tyler does have more of a baby face and Angela has a more mature face. -
Went to two different stores today. One cashier was named Miracle and the other was named Fairy. ? My thought process was that one had fundie parents and the other had hippies.?

Just thought I'd share a meme I made, of my son and granddaughter walking to her new school on the first day. They just moved to Germany. The school's on base, so he's allowed to be in uniform to take her. (I *think* it's called a meme) ?
