I just got home from the hospital after my second knee replacement. The first one seemed to go so much better. I'll be glad later that I did it, but right now I.am.not.
-
Total knee replacement tomorrow morning at 6am. I'm as nervous as a cat.

I think of Fifty Shades of Grey when I see this phrase. Just me??

You're right..one was a yeah..not a yay..I rewatched it. WTH is wrong with me? I really need to get another hobby.

My husband is as cheap as Jim Bob and loves this place. I'd rather eat the box it comes in. ? On second thought...It's a cheap way to eat if you don't have a j.o.b. Nothing against you @Nysha, it's also my grown kids go to meal for their kids on busy nights when they don't have time to cook, because they all work.

I believe it was eight..what's my prize? (I have no life)

It's also funny to see many regular posters from here on other boards I read. Here's something I've found myself doing lately. If a new show starts up, or I suddenly become aware of it for some reason, I won't really commit to watching it until I check and make sure it has an active forum for it here first. It's no fun to watch if nobody else is. ?

Oh, I know you can get good deals at thrift stores..been there done that with five kids of my own and hardly any money. But you still have to be picky and DIG. I never bought second hand shoes though.
-
Busy for his day of hitting every thrift store in town is more like it. (And OMGosh here comes garage sale season again)? I do feel sorry for all those kids brought up in that thrift store mindset though.

Just today, I had to beg my husband not to wear a blue plaid shirt with shiny green pants with an orange stripe down the sides. To top it off, he was wearing a camouflage ball cap. So yeah..It's a thing.? (there's a reason things end up in thrift stores.)

I thought I was the only person who spelled it gray instead of grey! (Now I had to Google it.) 'Grey and gray are both accepted in the English language. However, gray is the more popular spelling in the US, while grey reigns supreme in the UK." ?

Hmmm..well my husband and I were listening on the same device at the same time and both heard different words. Same for my daughter and granddaughter (they're in Florida, not here with us) Weird?
-
Aaand now..to get away from all the sad stuff..what do you hear on this: Yanny or Laurel? My granddaughter and I hear Yanny, my daughter and husband hear Laurel. (so it doesn't seem to be an age thing.) Ps here's a link for you Canadians: https://www.ctvnews.ca/sci-tech/laurel-or-yanny-the-audio-clip-the-internet-refuses-to-agree-on-1.3931922

I finally found her commenting on it on page 274..many, many posts ago. And after skimming through all those posts, I'd like to ask how @Rabbittron 's son is doing, also.

Ok, I fast forwarded it and it was..........unclear. Seems like the experts were saying that a lot of the family has been hacked/have unsecured social media. They suggested the whole family get off of all social media (I couldn't do it.) -
Ditto from me. I'm jumping on @lookeyloo 's comment because I'm agnostic and I always feel like a hypocrite if I say I'll pray for someone, so I never know what to say. That goes for everyone else here who mentioned having health issues. I'm sending positive vibes your way. I was just thinking about @Arwen Evenstar and @MyPeopleAreNordic and would love to hear how they're doing. I'll take some positive thoughts for myself this coming Monday while I'm at it, if you don't mind, since I'm getting my other knee replaced. I'm happy I'm doing it since the first turned out so well, but it is surgery, so I'm a little nervous. (getting older is not for sissies)?

No idea if this is true. https://radaronline.com/exclusives/2018/05/little-people-big-world-breakup-matt-roloff-split-caryn-no-longer-working-farm/

I really enjoyed the Sikh episode. I learned : That I've been producing Sikh incorrectly. That they're not Muslim (not that there's anything wrong with being Muslim.) I was also fascinated by the almond tree shaking machine (and had no idea so many Sikhs were into farming.) Also, as the mom of an Army daughter, I was surprised and happy to see that a law got passed to allow people in the military to wear articles of their religion, such as beards and turbans. :)

I just watched it. It said: Lee and Bailey have been in touch and Lee hopes they can resume their relationship. Lee recently learned that Lincoln and Bailey broke up. (I can't stand Bailey or Lee)
