That was...interesting. Like watching a foreign film. Didn't understand any of it, but I still watched it all, so you know I have no life. ;-) isn't it kind of cheating to wear sunglasses (indoors) so people can't see your eyes?

I don't know why it's considered bad manners, I just know I was raised that men took their hats off indoors. But I think that's probably considered really old fashioned thinking now. (I am 65) It does bother me still though, but hey, not my circus, not my monkey..I just look away. :) And I'll take a man in a ball cap over a guy in a tank top with really long armpit hair sticking out. Hoo boy..someone must be cutting up a bunch of onions in my living room right now. I feel really bad she didn't even want to spontaneously hug him. She must have had a really, really crappy life. But I agree, I'm glad she was honest. I do wonder what kind of relationship she has with her mother now, if any.

I feel the same way. I loved their other show. But I just deleted this show from my DVR, because I never felt like watching all the episodes I had recorded. I guess I am too addicted to (probably scripted) "reality show" train-wreck families to keep watching these nice people. And I was the one who requested this forum. I do feel as though I learned something about autism from the original show though.

I had my right knee replaced last July, and it went so well, I'm going in about a month to get the left one done. Those first few weeks afterward were painful, but it was so worth it. Make sure you go to all the physical therapy they set you up for, and enjoy the pain meds you get while you're still in the hospital. Good luck to you, @CalicoKitty :)
