  1. Amazon is killing me with how they have the longer episodes and "specials" outside of the regular season listings. I feel for anyone watching for the first time wondering where 10 went all of a sudden, and how Clara ended-up with 12 after they parted after Danny died.
  2. Cisco's reply of something like, "I have her/she's here" actually struck me as a possible mis-direct. Perhaps Whiterose is having Cisco watch over Darlene as Leon was watching over Elliot. I thought it was interesting that they mentioned there was another Ron's Coffee nearby in the flashback. I wonder if maybe either Mobley or Trenton is at the wrong one at the end of the episode.
  3. I was being snarky ;) If it's compelling then they won't do it, and that would very compelling.
  4. Litmus test: Does it sound like a really compelling topic to flesh-out and explore? (Say, like, the reactions to the start of this epidemic and the toll on humanity in the really early zombie days?) Then, no, they aren't going to do that.
  5. A mother-- no. But the mother who lamely tried to get him in the truck when everything was burning, and then just watched him Madily (read: with no emotion at all) as they drove by, while he is walking in a zombie herd by choice, likely leaving him forever--yes. ;)
  6. I'm worried about my three young kids. I'm perpetually tired. I hope they don't all turn to drugs.
  7. In addition to hating the cliffhanger for many reasons covered by others, what has occurred to me is- even worse- this has also set-up a situation where it is well known that the premiere will pick right up from the finale and that that will entail a character many people like getting viscously and brutally killed. I am not really in the mood to see a character I (probably) like get pulverized and I am definitely not in the mood to watch the devastation of the survivors. If it had been shown in the finale, fine, but now they have made it so I have to make a conscious choice to watch what will no doubt be a disturbing and heart-breaking scene/episode. That's risky for a viewer like me. I may not be in the mood to watch that for quite some time, and that may make me lose interest all together after a point. And I don't even need to tune-in to find out who, the internet will have that covered.
  8. The AllSafe servers where he went "crazy" was from early in his career there-he tells Darlene about it in the flashback when she comes into town. It's likely he's in jail because his therapist's (Christa?) boyfriend actually went to the police, as he said he would, over Elliot hacking his phone and perhaps stealing his dog. Lower-level crime that would keep him off the radar from the FBI. The White Power (likely) group wasn't working for Ray, they were mad because they had money/items tied up in the show's Silk Road and blamed Elliot that it was gone. E-coin is now major currency. I'm wondering if White Rose is helping this along so she can then hack and wipe out/steal most all of the E-coin and really cripple the world/US. Either way, her long-game is not Price's.
  9. That shrimp cocktail was almost as menacing as the glass of milk in Inglorious Basterds. Damn.
  10. This is the very last place I expected a long Raising Arizona homage, but here we are.
  11. Is the high-5 with the robot Kimmy's first (after many spurned attempts) in the whole show? I love that the robots keep showing up everywhere. Wonder where the one bent on revenge has gotten to.
  12. Amy Sedaris kicking off both shoes, mid-stride!, is a thing of beauty. That woman is a national treasure. And then everyone, from then on out, always walked around the carpet to cross the room. Good subtle bit.
  13. Exactly what kia said. Abe first, and enough of a gap before Glen that comic readers (especially) think he's safe. Bleck.
  14. You know, they did interviews for more than one episode at a time. The quotes from both Kit and Sophie actually make more sense if they were actually talking about "Battle of the Bastards" than the finale. I think this may be more of an editing thing, especially as I don't think they had much (or any) knowledge of Season 7 story lines those many months ago.
  15. I thought she was trying to make him equal with Joffrey and Myrcella (and Tywin) as their bodies were burned to a crisp in her full-measure explosion. She even instructed his ashes be scattered at the remains of the Sept. We called this "Jamie's Regret Tour." As he talks to Walder Frey, "Oooh, I backed the wrong horse here." As he gets home and see Cersei, "Oooh, I backed the wrong horse here, too. Crap."
  16. I was actually pretty bummed that Pycelle got killed without anyone else figuring out his old-man act was just that, an act.
  17. This isn't so much of a spoilery question, but doesn't really belong in the episode threads: Before Robert's Rebellion, how long had the Targs been on the throne?
  18. If the crown and church join forces, but then the crown is deemed illegitimate, that leaves the church in charge.
  19. So if Wylis continued to live and grow-up in Winterfell, where everyone knew him, after the "accident," why did everyone start calling him by a totally different name? Seems awfully cruel to call someone the only word they can say when you know their actual name.
  20. Where the hell did Nick get Luis from? He died when they were still on the water. Are you telling me that, knowing that dead people turn, they not only didn't administer a head wound, but also rode with the body to shore and then drug it to land? Or left a freshly dead body on the boat for shits and giggles? I was unclear for most of the episode about when the others knew Celia was keeping zombie pets. Did they not think the conversation between her and Strand was odd? Did no one feel like mentioning what they had seen zombies do? We're they really fine staying there knowing what was in the basement? Did Daniel really not warn them that Celia flat-out murders people? I was hoping Nick was just trying to placate Celia without actually succumbing to her views. I don't see how anyone who has been out in the world and seen zombies literally eat people (including seeing people he knew turned-druggie girlfriend and drug dealer friend), could ever buy this line of BS. No matter how lost they are.
  21. Of course in the real world genes mix in interesting ways. But in fiction, especially when looks and heritage are described and commented on, a variation within a group isn't usually random. My question has to do with the books.
  22. I have a question about an item that was used at the Kingsmoot in the book: Thank you so much to those who answer in this thread!
  23. Is the actor in the pic above the same one who actually plays the Night King? Were there many blonde Starks? (He seems pretty blonde to me.)
  24. I wonder if they'll go the route of some of the team being resentful of Lizzie's deception. Because of her fake death Ressler basically abandoned his morals and the whole team aided and abetted a ton of crimes. Ah, who am I kidding, they'll probably spend most of next season trying to save their precious snowflake from dear daddy. If Tom knew the whole time, what was the deal with him shooting Solomon like he did?
  25. I'm a pretty unabashed Red fan, but I realized when I thought he was going to shoot Mr. Kaplan that that would be too much for me. After a moment's reflection, I don't think they'll actually do it for a few reasons, but I was surprised how I was feeling about the situation at the time. I don't get how they are going to do the spin-off, although it would be funny if each show had the baby with the other parent.
