  1. And this is exactly why I hope JT returns. No one else will actually tell Austen he's an asshole, somehow Austen creates a word salad and makes himself the victim and people always forgive him. JT didn't let him do that, and I am here for it. I love someone being in Austen's space that he cannot stand since I have to see Austen's smarmy face if I want to watch Southern Charm. You can also tell a lot about someone by how they treat their family, and of course Austen doesn't help his sister in the rain carrying expired Trop Hops, he just bolted ahead of her. Seriously, what did his parents do that created such an asshole? Is Patricia required to be filmed? The thought of being on camera after an injury with full makeup and hair sounds dreadful, but I guess she has nothing better to do. I always wonder if her house smells like dog pee or crap. Love to see Craig happy, but I think if Paige really felt strongly about him, she wouldn't be so resistant to even talking about getting engaged. She only seemed receptive to it after hearing that Madison and her [cute and normal] husband were engaged long distance. I just don't see Paige being happy in Charleston. Why is Leva at the reunion? She feels like she was barely on any episodes. Taylor isn't going to be on next season (assuming there is one), right? None of the ladies like her and I'm sure the guys don't want to be around her all that much (except JT, which I don't think either of them deserve), so what's the point? I know I don't want to see her anymore.
  2. This pisses me off, so much more than any others. I can't remember a time that I didn't pay for Prime, but I only use Amazon these days for shopping (though not as much as prior years) and rarely do I get packages within two days anyway. But now I have to pay extra to not pay for ads, when most of these companies, but especially Amazon, have made a shitt ton of money the past year. Well, I'm done. I've been slowly cutting back on my streaming services anyhow. I remember the days when streaming used to be a bargain, but now with all the individual prices, I don't feel the savings anymore. Maybe I'll go back to Slingtv and cancel Netflix and Hulu. The problem is that my kids and I all have a different streaming service that we like. Could be worse problems, I know.
  3. I've always thought her and Heavenly's friendship was weird because Heavenly can be so messy. I'm sure that Jackie knows that she'll always look better compared to Heavenly and also knows how to push Heavenly's buttons behind the scenes while staying clean. I'm showing my age, but I knew who Da Brat was when I saw her. I had to look up her age because I remember her back from the MTV days and couldn't believe she was pregnant. I'm around her age (give or take a year ahem), and I can't imagine being pregnant right now. She looks soooooo uncomfortable. But happy to see she's happy and still working after all these years. I wonder if Jackie loses any potential clients over her assinine comments. If Jackie was indeed mean to her - something I don't doubt - I'm sorry to hear that. Maybe this could explain why Toya seemingly has taken Sweet Tea under her wing. I imagine that Jackie is intimidating to get to know.
  4. So the same podcast that said that Taylor slept with Whitney is also now saying that slept with JT, which is why he's her lapdog. She supposedly had him promise he wouldn't tell anyone (or the cameras) because she didn't want her image taking a hit, especially since she slept with Austen and Whitney already. Sounds like Kathryn 2.0.
  5. I vaguely remember hearing about this case. I’m still in the first episode, but I hope retired Detective Dunn gets the karma coming to him somehow, somewhere.
  6. Wow, not many documentaries leave me speechless but this was one. It was so frustrating on so many levels to watch. This family and so many others are forever damaged by this one evil man who seemed rotten til the end. I hope he’s rotting in hell. I was surprised to see how Debi totally shut down and got defensive when confronted by her eldest daughter for being placed in the grandparents’ care when her mother KNEW what her father was capable of and had done to her! That Debi only “thought it was one time” and made sure her own mother promise that she would watch the granddaughter and not leave the grandchild alone with him. Like what the actual fuck. She KNEW her father was a pedophile, did she think he was suddenly cured?! She wasn’t protected by her own mother, why would her daughter be protected? Cycle of abuse just continued because it was swept under rug because it was too hard and easier to pretend it wasn’t happening. I haven’t had it happen to me but my ex did and and keeping it buried just makes it one thousand times worse. I know it’s easier said than done to not confront it but Debi reminded me so much of my ex-MIL. Sadly, Debi seemed to regress into her mother and it’s sad. I sincerely hope she gets the help she needs. Her daughters want to be able to talk to her like she wished her mom did with her. She said in the car she didn’t want to be her mother, but she’s headed down that path. It was uncomfortable to see the grandfather each time he was on the screen. His videos creeped me out, particularly when he was asking the videographer for a picture and remarking on her appearance. Just ew. I was confused though why he was asked to leave the nursing home. Who were the “twins” that he was inappropriately touching? Clearly he had his wits when he had zero comment after hearing Bonnie’s message to him. The innocent sweet facade sure did slip for a minute. And I don’t know if we were meant to have sympathy at the last imagine of him, however, I did not. Him serving just a two-year sentence is disgusting. I felt so uncomfortable after the prayer with his former business partners, especially with the guy who preached forgiveness, especially after his daughter was abused by him too! Don’t tell me I “need” to forgive to move on Fuck that. People need to do what works best for themselves to heal. Forgiveness doesn’t automatically make it all better, and I wish people wouldn’t say that it does.
  7. Craigie has 1st seat - first time ever? Does that matter really? Why is Leva at the reunion? She's been on the season maybe 30 minutes tops? I will be curious to see if Shep tries to redeem himself. I wonder if his behavior at Bravocon will be brought up.
  8. I'm enjoying this season. Yes, it's repetive, but maybe I'm used to it because so many of the housewives shows rehash one issue all freaking season long. Anyway, I think it burns Shep that Craig is in love, happy, and successful. Craig has come a long way since the first season when he seemed somewhat lost while Shep is basically just older, more bitter and unhappy. The first few seasons Craig was the punching bag, and I often remember how mean Shep was towards Craig. Or how about the time that Shep was pissed when Craig got more in an auction than Shep. Shep wants to get a rises out of Craig to make himself feel better about his increasingly pathetic life. I really hope Shep is watching the show and doing some major self-reflection (doubtful) and stops the drinking. All the woman looked great at dinner (though Olivia looked freshly done or else she has makeup that is amazingly waterproof and sweatproof). I say this all in jealously because I couldn't ever look as good. Venita is so beautiful, especially without makeup, plus she's still way too mature for this group. Glad Olivia called Austen out on his shit, oh he's "so exhausted". I thought Olivia and Austen weren't a thing ever, but apparently they were together for months after New York, which is also supposedly when he 'kissed' Taylor. Timeline sure is messy. No wonder she's all over place, plus she's still reeling from the loss of her brother. I'm not sure I would be handling myself as well. I admit that I wasn't a fan of JT at first, but he's growing on me, plus he can be the voice of reason, like at dinner when he went off on Austen. I loved his scrunched up look during Austen's 'apology' and rewound a couple times becuase it truly made me laugh. While he may be right, the boys don't respect him or seem to like him at all (yet?), so he's talking to the wall. I enjoyed JT and Venita's recent appearance on WWHL, and he's gone slighty up in my eyes. Um Taylor, everyone picking Olivia's side is really not the wrong side. That's the issue, how are you not seeing this? You got hurt by Shep, we get it, but that doesn't make it okay for you to act all crazy and get mad that Olivia is upset with you for doing god knows what with her ex. Or maybe Taylor just doesn't believe in girl code? Maybe the sweet act the past couple years was an act, becuase it sure does seem like it. I still want to know if Taylor also hooked up with Whitney like I've heard mentioned on a podcast. Shep is turning into Thomas Ravenel, except more bloated.
  9. In movies? I don’t think so. Though I know there are a ton of books written, but I’ve never read any so I don’t know what is canon.
  10. Just finished this (got free Apple for three months) and I LOVE this show. The cast gels so well together. Harrison Ford seems to be having fun, he’s had some of the funniest lines. Still so jarring for me to see him the same age as my dad cuz I will always irrationally remember him as Han Solo from Empire Strikes Back. Jessica Williams is fantastic in every scene. I saw where she and Jimmy were going, but I don’t hate it. Also sorta got used to Christa Miller’s face, but she seriously needs to stop. Oh and Michael Urie! I haven’t seen him since Ugly Betty (though I’m sure he’s worked since then), he’s great too. I was even happily surprised by Jason’s acting. So happy it was renewed for a second season, although not at all crazy about that last scene, seemed a little too dark.
  11. Just listed to the Cocktails and Gossip podcast and apparently Taylor also hooked up with Whitney. I don't know what to say other than I'm sure my expression shows shock and disgust. All these men are just ick. Taylor, girl, what are you thinking?!! Get away from this group!
  12. I would think no longer than two years, although I do recall reading somewhere that the battle of Lothal took place the same time as Scarif, which is why the Empire did not come back to Lothal. Honestly, my head spins sometimes trying to keep track of the timelines and figure out what may be occurring simultaneously. Though I'm not sure it would explain why she was absent after War of the Worlds unless she stayed in the temple until after ROTJ, which seems hard to believe. Thanks ProudMary, I will send each of them the links and hopefully they'll be encouraged to watch because they are missing some good shows. If it was Marvel, I've no doubt my mom would watch, and while those are entertaining, I find Star Wars much, much better, especially Rebels. I even bought the novel A New Dawn about Kanan because of how much it was recommended on podcasts. My family thinks I've gone a little loony with Star Wars, but it's a nice distraction from things going on personally.
  13. I really hope there is a season 2 and that Ezra ends up training Jacen. It would also be amazing if we heard or even saw Kanan talking to both.
  14. So my captioning referred to the stormtroopers as "night troopers". After rewatching and seeing what looked like caskets being brought onto Thrawn's ship, are all the troopers like Marrok? If not, what the heck are in those coffin-life boxes? Not gonna lie, Thrawn's dad bod was definitely distracting initially, however, I still felt he was intimidating and powerful, so I was able to overlook it. I wonder if they tried to do actors with better physiques but the voice just couldn't be duplicated. Hard to imagine Thrawn without the voice. This summer I watched Rebels and all the related Clone Wars in anticipation for this series. I was surprised how much I liked the animated series, but you really do need to have either watched Rebels or find a recap online to grasp some of this show. My 20 year old son is watching this on and off with me (the rare occasions he is home) since he grew up watching The Clone Wars and loved Ahsoka (after Vader). He found himself asking me a bunch of questions (which kills him let me tell you lol) about who Ezra, Hera, and Sabine are, why Ezra is on a planet by himself, etc. He knew all about Thrawn of course, but I must say I took great pleasure in finally knowing something about Star Wars that he didn't. My mom told me she's lost and said she's giving up because she doesn't know who anyone is, and balked at the idea of watching animated shows no matter how much I told her she might even enjoy them.
  15. It ain't good, if true. Almost forgot to mention, Peanut Tillman in the FBI, what?!
  16. I loved it! I loved Thrawn (still terrifying and how does he keep his uniform clean) and even better, Ezra! I was worried he might end up being Thrawn's captain with the gold face, however, once I saw the turtles, I knew they were Ezra's friends. The night troopers looked cool, but the Star Destroyer has seen better days for sure. Ezra and Sabine reuniting was awesome, curious to see if they’ll remain “siblings” or if they will be a romance. Don’t really care, but can't wait til Hera sees her other “son”. And seeing if Chopper is still cranky to Ezra, oh and you know, where is ZEB?! Not to mention Ezra learning of Jacen (and hopefully training him). Shin certainly looks worried about staying on the planet, will she ditch Baylan Skoll or sacrifice him if he won’t let her go. I’m surprised the witches thought Sabine reeked of Jedi even though she doesn’t have power, so I guess she will soon. I really hope the whales aren't cutting their lives short by helping Ahsoka. Can they do an immediate round trip and help our Rebels return to warn the New Republic. So what was the deal that Thrawn made with the Night Sisters, something that Morgan Elsbeth had to bring or take back? What would be even greater is hearing Kanan somehow communicate with Ezra once they get back home.
  17. I don’t really like anyone on the cast, except maybe Craig (a teeny bit), but I also can’t seem to stop hate watching this damn show. Who is the guy yelling “you’re the oldest one here” at Shep? I would love someone to put smarmy Shep in his place. Oh Taylor, you seemed like such a lovely girl in the beginning, you need to get far away from this group. Yet another season of Austen and Madison drama. Yawn.
  18. At the dinner the night that Culver and Jaimee hooked up, Harry and Margot were at the table kissing like a couple in the background. No wonder Harry feels confused, Margot is clearly giving him mixed signals. When I don't like a guy, I'm very clear with it and don't act all wishy washy like she is with Harry. It's like Margot wants to be in a couple, but Harry is her only choice right now, so she's stringing him along because it's better than being single. Harry reminds me of Andrew Garfield. So far, I'm loving Joao, is it possible he's truly grown? Or is he just better at maintaining an image? Either way, it's better than having to watch dickhead Culver. I wonder if Joao's ex-fiance was the stew who he met on a previous season of Below Deck. Adam, is my favorite, seems normal, mature, and well, hot. Crossing fingers that he will survive, maybe Culver will get fired instead...one can hope.
  19. My boss is incredibly wealthy and spent thousands of dollars (at least five figures) on a college coach to “prepare” her son for college tests all through high school. Meanwhile for my son I was able to sign up for a $350 local Zoom course. I would love it if both Tamra and Heather get called out on their bullshit. Lauren seemed so nice and normal, she definitely is too good for this show. I’m surprised how much Taylor isn’t bugging me because I loathed her on BH. She must seem better because I don’t have to watch her with her awful buddy Kyle. I’ve never been to Nobu, but my boss goes there if she wants to impress clients.
  20. I got curious and was surprised to find they didn’t move to Naperville or Winnetka.
  21. Watching that scene, I was wondering if/when the last time it had been cleaned too. It's amazing that Charlotte had 15 pregnancies and 13 children survived to adulthood.
  22. I’ve told many people about it, but no one seems receptive. I don’t get it. One of my friends did say what she watched was crude and the swearing was excessive and she couldn’t get into it. I said you don’t even notice the more you watch, and it’s really funny and the actors are simply amazing. It’s really a shame because Season 3, while it broke my heart, was the best one yet.
