  1. At least separate bedrooms & bathrooms! I think the 2 of them were faking it previously so I wouldn't be too surprised. Faux reality. Did Dina ever file for 501©3 status for Project Ladybug? I looked it up when she first started on the show and she had been having fundraisers for a few years but never registered the charity.
  2. Life isn't a one size fits all proposition. What works for one, doesn't work for another. I cut Jen a little extra slack due to her illness. It's very easy to armchair quarterback their actions when you're not living their lives.
  3. What was all that Gretchen crap Vicki was spewing in her TH? She was saying she didn't see 'the light' when choking but that Gretchen would be on the other side telling her to go to the light. So Gretchen is undead? A vampire?
  4. It's funny that curved is in when for how many years, TVs had curved screens and the new thing was flat screen. I know it's a different curve but it's funny to me.
  5. When is someone going to call out Vicki for her hypocrisy on Briana moving away? Vicki packed up Briana and Michael and moved them how many thousands of miles from their home in IL - away from their father and their grandparents, cousins etc etc.
  6. I had huge reservations about this business. Many kids have too many toys as it is because they never want to get rid of stuff even if they don't play with it. Perhaps in more urban environments where space is limited, I could see it. But then the germs. Ugh! And the hassle of shipping if you don't have a doorman.
  7. I predict the kids will grow up and thrive despite everything because that's what most kids do. No one has perfect parents or a perfect upbringing. Most of us have our quirks, foibles, peculiarities, flaws even. It'd be boring if everyone was the same. Stepford like. I certainly don't agree with everything Bill and Jen do but overall I think they're doing OK based on what we've seen. I also think if I were being filmed, there'd be a ton of criticism lobbed my way too. Live and learn, do your best, and a bunch of other cliches.
  8. Jenna was running around with that punk rock guy from Falling in Reverse, Ronnie Radke. Maybe that's what broke them up. Or Lou traded her in for another college girl.
  9. Kathy was demoted to 'friend of' status. She gets into it later on in the season. And unfortunately, icky Richie is back as well saying gross stuff. Milania has always been a grade A brat and this season looks no different. She's going to get bitch slapped in school if she doesn't get corrected at home. Blurting out names and curses like Andrew Dice Clay isn't cute on anyone let alone a pre-teen. Dina talking about her period. We had enough of that last season on NY with Sonja talking about her heavy flow. Who thinks this is amusing or film worthy? The twins are very hard looking. Are they late 40s? And one lives with her parents? WTF? Maybe she can move in with Caroline. Dina used to live there too when she got divorced the first time. Amber looks like she studied previous seasons and came up with her character. And when people don't let her play her character out, she goes bat shit crazy. After this show, there was something on called Women of the Crown (something like that) about pageant women. Amber and the twins look like those women. Not a compliment. Melissa shows of her lightened JLo hair. Joe Gorga shows off his bald head. They both show off their garbage truck. What?
  10. Not sure Grandma Wrinkles still lives with Dina. She did marry Giggy on WWHL a few years back.
  11. They played brother & sister in Divergent.
  12. This commercial gets me hitting the mute button every time: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QMgo14M2OyA Slow sappy kids harmonizing a crappy Beach Boys tune. Blergh.
  13. For some reason, the accent seems Nordic to me. Either way, it doesn't make sense with a German car company advertising in the US.
  14. Mama Joyce needs to be checked into Shady Pines. If her relationship with Todd wasn't strained before, it has to be now. There's nothing cute about her foul mouth.
  15. I think Bravo really missed the boat by not casting Jean Kasem. With all the drama going on, oof, it would have eclipsed all of the Brandi nonsense http://www.tmz.com/2013/05/12/casey-kasem-wife-jean-real-housewives-beverly-hills/
  16. It was for an airline, so yes, lots of hand movements!
  17. Oh, I never knew about that. I didn't get to see this shows in first run so I probably missed a lot of the chatter etc.
  18. Unless Nicole is fixing up a house for herself, most of what she does is slap dash. The finishes are crap, she is the worst stainer ever, and her patching of tile is just wrong. She never replaces windows with energy efficient ones (only did once and that was because the house already had vinyl clad), nor does she insulate. When she does floors, she often strips down to the sub floor and refinishes that. Which in chilly MN or MI is just cruel. What I think Nicole does well is pick out paint colors.
  19. I have a soft spot for the Lipozene pitch woman. I hired her back in 07 or 08 to do some workplace training videos. But yea, it's a bad commercial.
  20. They didn't mention Dina and Tommy on Platinum Weddings where we and the whole world found out that Tommy is a serial cheater. In the sneak peek, Dina trots out the old frat boy joke: Don't trust anything that bleeds for 5 days and doesn't die. Oh Dina. I did not miss you.
  21. Bill Daily is best known for playing an astronaut in I Dream Of Jeannie and commercial airline navigator in The Bob Newhart Show. As Howard Borden, he was always interrupting Bob and Emily at meal times, inviting himself to eat and even eating off their plates. Somehow, rarely did Bob or Emily tell him off. Behind the scenes, there were reports that Bill messed up his lines a lot due to dyslexia and while the cast & crew liked him, he was very frustrating to work with. Here's a nice article about him: http://data.desmoinesregister.com/famous-iowans/bill-daily
  22. It's not unusual to have an expat be the realtor. Some of the earlier HHI had Americans going to foreign countries to sell real estate. Such as odd couple but every time I see the episode and Donna is posing in that cheap pink dress that she wears through-out the episode, I just laugh.

  25. Swiping from TWoP & Wiki (I've filled in what I could find on the good old interwebs): S5 teams: Lone Star Chuck Wagon (@LSChuckWagon) - serves BBQ, Tex-Mex, and much more. Let There Be Bacon (@LTBBacon) - is from Cleveland, OH and serves bacon-inspired dishes. Military Moms (@MilitaryMomstrk) - is from Fort Drum, New York. Serving comfort food. Beach Cruiser (@BeachCruiserFT) - serves authentic, fresh California cuisine dishes. The Middle Feast (@MidFeastTruck)) - is from Los Angeles, CA and serves Middle Eastern food dishes. (I saw TexMex breakfast in a post) Chatty Chicken (FB chattychickenfoodtruck2014) - from Chattanooga Tennessee. It is currently unknown what dishes they serves (I'm guessing Chicken!) Madres (@MadresFoodTruck)- serves authentic Mexican dishes. They have been to Tuscon AZ, OKC, St. Louis last weekend and now looks like they are in Mobile AL.
