I'm not overly invested in the TCAs. I retweeted for Emily once, but I figure the TCAs will pick whoever they want as the winner but I saw Chloe Bennetts TCA tweet come up on my time line and since my post she's jump to 2.2k retweets while Emily Melissa and Candice are still at the 1.8-1.7k mark. Either the AOS fans were sleeping when they started the vote process and are now rallying  or something funny is going on because she was sitting at like 650 ish retweets a day ago.

the Marvel account RT it.

The only sad about Quentins death is that they had made him such a gigantic slightly Annie Wilkes-ish dumbass that by the time he died I think most weren't all that sad about it.

Dumb. Diaz is an idiot, and Laurel's nomination only works if she was still in cahoots with Diaz and blew him off the rooftop specifically so he could get away (or as an accidental villain at the end, since she was trying to be good for Daddy and wanted to get some revenge).

I think Professor Chaos would make a better villian (and gave a better dramatic performance) then either of those two lame wastes of airtime.

This is the final category, so there are no more polls to come. Voting will remain open for the rest of the week, and winners will be announced Monday, July 2.

I voted for Emily, Stephen and

IMO Fundamentals was the best ep of the season and The Dragon was the worst ep. And it reminded me of how wonderful a villain was  Chase and how terrible as in bad and not good is Diaz.

The fact that we dont have any full time couples outside of Olicity, there is no use to even do a best couples poll tbh.

Lyla may not be a regular, but I certainly think she and Diggle are established enough to be a viable option. (I would totally vote for them if Olicity wasn't my OTP forever.)

Plus, what about the people who love Siren and Diaz together? (I'm being facetious, but it wouldn't surprise me if the KA fanboys dig it.)

To me, it is not the same to have a part time relationship that gets shown maybe 5 episodes tops out of 23 vs. one that is all season long and get more development.

This season Lyla was in 3 episodes. Roy obviously in 2, Dinah/Vigilante was what? 2-3 episodes that they courted each other? Siren/Diaz surprisingly had like 4 episodes where they were "together", Curtis and his boyfriend maybe 2-3?

Yeah each couple will have fans but they would be nowhere near the fans that Olicity would have.

I think that there is an argument to be made for making it "relationship" instead of "best couple".  While I really like Roy and Thea, they only had one episode in the season (26 episodes if you count the cross overs).  Which really leaves only Oliver/Felicity, Diggle/Lyla and DDD/Siren in the running.  Maybe Dinah/Vince too. And Curtis/cop-whose-name-I-don't-know.

Maybe there is someone who really liked the Rene/Dinah/Curtis interaction. Or Rene and his daughter.  Or Quentin with Siren "saving" her.  Or even Diaz and Siren.  Agood relationship doesn't have to be just a romantic couple, especially when the show's OTP is this established.

There's another show that I watch and the OTP couple 6 there makes Mayo'Felicity look good. On that show, there's a number of other pairings I'd vote for ahead of them.

I agree with that, although I think Craig would lose his shit if Olicity won and the first runner up was Diggle and Felicity. ?  As much as Quentin got dragged down in the undertow of his storyline with Siren, his relationship with Oliver was one of the few things I loved about S6. And I loved Felicity and William’s relationship a lot, which I never would have expected. So yeah, relationships definitely don’t have to revolve around romance.

We're here tonight in this beautiful website on the internet to hand out awards to some of the best that TV has to offer, all based on votes from the viewers at home. More than several million votes were cast over a three week period in June, and surely some fingers and some sanities were lost in the process.

This year, there were a few shows that really dominated across the board. Both Lucifer and The 100 walk away with six awards each, while Deception has three and Timeless earned a very respectable two.

In a couple of months, it will be time for our annual tournament of TV's coolest women, so stay tuned. ...

The Top 25 CW Ships of All Time, Ranked
By Lindsay MacDonald | Jul 3, 2018 9:53 AM EDT

4. Oliver and Felicity, Arrow
Olicity is one of those weird ships that was probably never in the original plans for the show but somehow became a cornerstone of it. Oliver (Stephen Amell) and Felicity's (Emily Bett Rickards) chemistry was palpable from the get go, and they've traveled from strangers to friends to husband and wife, despite the seriously rocky road they had to take to get there. They're also one of the rare couples that provide fans with just as much entertainment during their domestic happiness as their angsty breakups, which is not easy. The only thing that would make them more perfect is an Olicity baby, right?

2018 GATV Awards : Pick Your Favorite Writer From Arrow Season 6!

I'm not sure I foresaw myself voting for Speed Weed, but Fundamentals and We Fall were two of my absolute favorite episodes and his other two episodes (Next of Kin and Thanksgiving) were fine. I wish I could have split my vote between him and Emilio Ortega Aldrich, since Emilio co-wrote Fundamentals and Reversal, which was amazing. But I disliked The Devil's Greatest Trick and the non-OTA parts of Divided enough to tip the balance in Speed's favor.

Arrow's write up was pretty negative compared to the other ones.

Olicity remains one of the more contentious fandom ships, particularly in the Arrow fandom itself, but there’s no denying that Oliver Queen and Felicity Smoak had a pretty good year. Rekindling their on-again/off-again romance while simultaneously becoming co-parents to Oliver’s son, William, eventually led to the Olicity wedding that most saw coming from a mile away (minus Barry and Iris who probably didn’t expect to share their nuptials with their Star City friends). Olicity have experienced the highest of highs and the lowest of lows and, while it doesn’t look as though things will be smooth sailing moving forward, this is a duo that will no doubt weather the storm.

Link to comment

And yet, Olicity has 49%, compared to FizSimmons (34%), Pillinda (Colton and May) at 12%, , WestAllen at 2%, and Sanvers, Jaenerys(GoT) and Deanoru (Runaways) each at 1%.

Nice try, ap2hy writers.

Final results - Arrow by itself didn't win anything, but Arrowverse's 'Crisis on Earth-X' won Best Team-Up, and Olicity came in 2nd place for Ship of the Year...

2017-18 AP2HYC TV Awards: And the Winners Are…
by Silje Falck-Pedersen   July 25, 2018
https://ap2hyc.com/2018/07/2017-18-ap2hyc-tv-awards-and-the-winners-are/

Quote

Ship of the Year: FitzSimmons (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.)
...
With 8,599 votes, Ship of the Year brought in over half of the awards’ total votes, and was without question the most popular category of the season. With more social media attention than we could keep track of, the category proved once more how passionate and vocal fandom shippers can be. While the Olicity fandom started off strong and had a lead early on, the FitzSimmons fandom came together in the final stretch and nabbed 52% of the total votes and a win for Ship of the Year.
*  *  *
Best Team-Up: Crisis on Earth X (Arrowverse)
....
If you’re going to bring together every superhero show on the network for a four-night crossover event, you should expect to win the year’s Best Team-Up! Unsurprisingly, the Arrowverse’s Crisis on Earth X event won in a landslide victory, with 52% of the votes!

Even those who have given up on one or more of the CWDC shows will make a point to tune in during the annual crossover event. This year’s Crisis on Earth X brought together more characters than any CW Xover before, uniting the Legends of Tomorrow, Supergirl, Arrow, and the Flash teams in an insane four-part event. The characters we’ve grown to love over the years joined forces in order to take out the few people who could actually pose a threat: their own doppelgängers. Taking out their Nazi counterparts took a solid four episodes for the CW heroes to accomplish but it was a fun ride from start to finish that provided a few memorably heartfelt moments along the way.

Best Costume: Thunder (Black Lightning)
Best VFX: Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
Best Fight Sequence: Sinara vs. Quake (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.)
Best Makeup: Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
Best Sidekick: Castiel (Supernatural)
Ship of the Year: FitzSimmons (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.)
Favorite Breakout Character: Deke Shaw (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
Best Team-Up: Crisis on Earth X (Arrowverse)
Biggest Plot-Twist: Fitz’s Psychic Split (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.)
Most Kickass Female: The Women of S.H.I.E.L.D. (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.)
Biggest Damn Male Hero: Leo Fitz (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.)
Biggest Bad: Graviton (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.)
Most Heartbreaking Death: Leo Fitz (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.)
Best New Series: Black Lightning
Best Season: Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

I listened to most of their podcast (link in article above) announcing the AP2HYC TV Awards winners as well. The three podcasters were really annoying (one male podcaster in particular was super obnoxious). They said that last year was the first time they added the Ship of the Year category and, out of a total of 7,000 votes, 4,000 votes were cast in the Ship of the Year category last year.  Then this year, there were a total of about 13,000 votes cast, and about 8,000 of those votes were cast in the Ship of the Year category.

They also talked about how contentious the Ship of the Year category was and read some nasty fan tweets, including some about not wanting Olicity to win. The one female podcaster, Silje Falck-Pedersen, apparently wrote all of the articles about this competition and tabulated all of the votes. One fan tweet that they read said to vote for Olicity because the write-up about Olicity in the Ship of the Year section was so "salty." Silje laughed and said that she didn't think that what she wrote was "salty". However, from listening to the podcast, it was clear (to me, at least) that she didn't care for Olicity and that she was a FitzSimmons shipper and big Agents of SHIELD fan.

Also, in the Ship of the Year category, Philinda (Agents of SHIELD)  briefly took the lead at one point but ultimately came in 3rd place.
