Rocket is such a great character. One of the things that really stands out to me in all of the Marvel stuff is how they manage to humanize the characters. By the time I get to Infinity War, I don't even see Rocket as anything but a fully evolved person.

Yup, I'm caprice. Every so often you'll catch me talking about m. caprice (I don't want to change his name, again. Some of our longtime players might remember him as the trying man or ttm), although... the troubled man could work. Hmm.... I changed my name because I couldn't remember my password.

You didn't ask me, but the only Marvel movie I have seen was Endgame*, because I was begged by the niblings to whom I can refuse nothing to take them.  I did tear up, and as I have no prior connection to any of the films (although I did read the occasional Marvel comic in my youth so I at least knew who the major players were) I chalk that up to pure emotional manipulation by the studio that brought you Old Yeller and Bambi.

* - Unless we want to count the 1990 Captain America and Dolph Lundgren as the Punisher.

Over in the current game thread, we got to talking about the GoT game and the potential of a Varys/Littlefinger alliance. I started thinking about the pictures I took in Bayeux and had to post these. @BizBuzz, you'll appreciate these!

Because of the delicate nature of the embroidery and the linen, they had these signs all over, in both English and French. It made sense, being on loan to Bayeux from Tourism Northern Ireland, and who among us doesn't appreciate a good GoT pun?

I think I said it before this game started, but Guardians of the Galaxy is a really terrific movie all on it's own. You don't have to know anything about the MCU to enjoy it. I forgot about our introduction to Rocket that was just part of the Night story, between the random insults and the frustration with Groot: "No! Not her, him! Learn genders, man.”  Heh.

Anyway, cheers to everyone! Wishing everyone safe passage through the night and that the next time we hear from you it's not from the afterlife.

GotG truly is one of my favorite movies ever. Space opera with funny characters and great music, what's not to love. Rocket is in my top 5 favorite characters in the whole MCU.

It's a wee bit early for drinking. I'm having a pumpkin spice coffee. Yep, I'm one of those people.
