They were discussing Tiger Wood's latest DUI and Aisha was talking about how some people are under the influence

of certain sleeping aids and Sharon blurted out the name: "Ambien".

She must have the entire CBS legal team on the edge.

I agree with Aicha regarding many, many women issues and once again she took a stand on Thursday to stand with PP.

For that reason alone,  I will support Ms Tyler.

Thanks for answering. This isn't mentioned in Leah's book, but I remember when Sharon and Julie did an interview with Howard Stern a few months after the start of season 2 and when asked why Leah in particular was fired Sharon said she was constantly getting the network in trouble with her comments. I don't know she managed to finish that lie without bursting into flames, but it annoys the hell out of me that Sharon is allowed to say any and everything and everyone around her is quick to defend and excuse her. She has no redeemable qualities that I can see.

Keep goin', Aisha! It's good that she's able to be more outspoken with her political opinions now that she's on her way out in a few months. Lord knows I'll miss the hell out of her, but I'll enjoy the time we have with her left. Preferably without the short "little girl" dresses she's been wearing lately.

No red hair dragon lady all this week! *cabbage patch, tootsie roll, running man* She'll be back next week, I'm sure. And talk about what her classy daughter's been up to: http://exclaim.ca/film/article/kelly_osbourne_pissed_her_pants_in_a_starbucks. Nasty.

Sheryl was really laying the slurring on thick for some reason today. "John McEnroe juss need ta keep Serena name out his mouf! You know what I'm sayin'? BIG UPS TO ALL DA FOLKS DAT OUT DERE DOIN' DA DAG ON THANG!" Roselyn Sanchez's facial expressions made me laugh. She looked like "I don't have a clue what the hell you just said, but everyone's clapping so I guess I will too."

I enjoyed this week so much, despite it being a tad bit boring. Sharon was still MIA. Yay! Today had three of the hosts missing.

YUP! As much as I like Julie, I prefer Aisha moderating. Julie takes too long to give her opinion sometimes and it's usually just a rehash of something someone else on the panel just said. Anytime there's no "Mrs. O is the bestest" worship service the show flows better imo.

24 minutes ago, Medicine Crow said:

She's usually fine, but the first day she moderated she was bad. Not "Sharon" awful, but stumbling while reading the teleprompter, missing cues, etc. I thought she was better yesterday. One thing I wish she'd let up on in general is cursing so much. A word (or two) every blue moon is fine, but she throws out "bitch" and "ass" too often like she's performing standup and not on daytime TV.

I will say that I do prefer Julie as the moderator. I actually miss her when she's gone. Shocking.

She does take a little long to spit out whatever she wants to say sometimes. Slow and deliberate.

Agreed. Although there was this one time when she did a good job, it wasn't this week. But she is still much better than the red headed menace. Right now Sheryl is annoying me with just the sound of her voice. When she was moderating, you could tell that she was trying to change the way that she normally spoke and it was causing her to stumble all over the place.

I don't know what's going on with Sheryl personally but she's been really over the top more then usual the last few months. I like her and wish she didn't feel like she has to act like that so much of the time.

" She" wasn't there yesterday or today. That automatically makes the show enjoyable. I don't remember much about yesterday's show but I loved Mary McCormack on today's show. I don't think that I have ever seen her in an interview before. She was very funny.

Hated seeing Madam the puppet too but thank god she wasn't "moderating". She's so crappy she almost makes Whoopi Goldberg look competent.

LOL. She looked like a marionette when she was attempting to dance a jig to Earth, Wind & Fire at the beginning of the show. Either Aisha or Sheryl should've interviewed them instead of the troll.

She's been a guest on the show a few times before, but that was a few years ago. I might be getting her mixed up with another actress, but I thought her husband was caught cheating on her and she was going to leave him. I remember the ladies mentioning she'd just be on before the scandal. From the way she talked about him today it's obvious they're still together. I'll have to Google schmoogle (how you doin', Ms. Wendy? ;p) about it before I go to bed.

mcrae, Mary is indeed the one whose husband got caught kissing that broad from CBS'Scorpion.{It's actually why I don't watch that show) At the time it was being said that she was leaving him, but she obviously did not. I must have missed that episode of her being on the show.

Thanks, Mikita. I forgot he had the affair with Katherine McPhee from American Idol. I know one should never say never, but I don't think I could've taken the husband back if I were in that situation. Being cheated on is hard enough, but you're making out with another chick in broad daylight in a parking lot?! So blatant and disrespectful.

This is one of Mary's previous appearances: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BjDEOhHHGbk.

I doubt Miss Julie would say anything because she doesn't want to offend Les who probably is the main reason this is happening. Julie sleeps with him so she gets Big Brother and her own talk show. Others aren't so lucky.

Well, they might have talked about it if it was a show on a different network. They talk about celebrity news and scandals daily. However, they will sweep this story under the rug because it looks bad for the network.

Maybe because Julie is Asian? But I agree that it won't be discussed because it is a CBS show.

And..... they didn't talk about it. Not surprised though. They didn't say a word about Charlie Sheen when he lost what was left of his mind and went on that "tour" of his some years ago. And although it didn't have anything to do with them or CBS,  they also didn't talk about the Kathy Griffin/decapitated Trump head story either. Hope they don't choke from all the dirt they've swept under the rug.

Another week without Sharon. *said like Sheryl* THANK YA, JAY-SUS!

Nope. No mention of it at all. Not surprised at all. That Charlie Sheen was never discussed was amazing to me. It was a big story, but nada. Have they ever mentioned Leah and her Scientology show? There was lots of buzz about it and I don't recall them ever discussing it.

I'm glad that Patton Oswalt has found love again. I cannot believe that people are upset because it's too soon. Everyone is different. It has been almost a year and a half. What's the appropriate time length judgmental people?

Nope. They never mentioned Leah or Holly's name once they fired them so even mentioning Leah's show would make them look stupid.

Unfortunately not. She's in the UK taping X Factor. She'll probably be back next week. :(

Gabrielle Union sounds a lot like Aisha, except she's not as much of a spastic chatterbox. LOL. I like Ali Wentworth. I remember when Oprah would do round table panel episodes in the last few seasons of her talk show and she was a panelist. If Sharon were ever fired (never gonna happen, but we can dream) and Ali didn't live in New York, I wouldn't mind her taking her spot.

Sharon sucks the energy out of the room with her self-righteous speeches and hypocritical behavior. Like today when she went on and on about how she can't understand why people with empty lives spew their unhappiness and bitterness onto others. Uh huh. Sure ya don't.

Aisha doesn't leave until next month. She's probably away working on one of her 15 jobs. ;)

I liked Sasheer even though she wasn't able to contribute much. Not sure she'd want to commit to a show like this full time. She'd be a good option if they wanted a younger person on the show though and she's smart like Aisha.  It was so much more pleasant and watchable with the red headed monster being absent.

Sharon's whole speech had me rolling my eyes. She is so hypocritical. There's a reason why she does the nasty things that she does. I hate how the other ladies seem to think that it's funny and okay because it's "Mrs. O." that's doing it. It's not okay.

Can someone on the board recommend a good shampoo for Sharon? She's constantly scratching that red mess on top of her head and it really annoys me!

I bet that if Sharon weren't there Sasheer would've been able to contribute more. It takes that woman forever and a day to deliver her monologues and everyone else is supposed to just stay quiet and mindlessly nod at her "pearls of wisdom".

As much as I'd like to see someone like Alyssa Milano join the show, I would also like to see another black co-host get that seat to counteract Sheryl's stereotypical "sassy black woman" routine. Sheryl's not as awful as she used to be with that, but it still bugs.

Sheryl used to annoy me as well, and I used to want her gone. However, she started to tell us about her life and I understand now that she used laughter and humor to deal with her pain from childhood sexual abuse, her mother did not believe her.  There was a lot of hardship with her mom.  Her mother stabbed  her dad and told her that her dad had killed her twin sister whom she later found out had died, a few months after their birth.  She talks about the unfilled void due to her twin's absent from her life.  She carries a picture of her at all times in her wallet.  For a long time, she had a strain relationship with her dad, until she found out the truth.  She got raped as an adult, her husband committed suicide and she had to have a hysterectomy, robbing her, of her dream of having her kids. Not to mention, taking care of her older disabled sister, that is very costly.  So, I love Sheryl now. She is a woman who is so profound, graceful, warm, intelligent and full of empathy for her fellow man.. She and Ayisha are my favorites on the show.  Sheryl thought me a lesson that you don't judge a book by it's cover. I judged her as being a stereotype and buffoon. She is nothing of the sort..

I actually enjoyed Sheryl's stand up routine. Clean and dirty. She's a very funny lady. But it's one thing in the comedy club and a completely different thing in daytime tv. She actually is comparable to Sherry, formerly of the View with her behavior. I mean it's the same thing. Sherry was known for acting man hungry and constantly lusting after the male guests. The only difference between the two is Sheryl is legitimately smart. I want her to show that more and get rid of the silly skits. Not to mention the ridiculous lusting after male guests. No male could get away with doing that to female guests. I have no idea why it's tolerated with female hosts. Double standard I guess. It's not cool, funny or sweet. Just stop.

I agree completely. I do think that her act on daytime tv is off-putting. I notice that the red-headed clown in the middle tolerates her over Aisha because she is so stereotypical.  Aisha unnerves her.  This is the same bitch that said that Holly Robinson Peete was not Black enough..

I know I've mentioned Sheryl's recent Daytime Emmy behavior where she went the entire show long lusting after Mario Lopez before. I'm going to mention it again since Sheryl's lusting after men on The Talk has been mentioned. What she does on the show is mild compared to what the people who watched that live stream saw her saying. If a man had done what Sheryl did to Mario on an awards show TV he'd probably loose his job. It made me both mad and sad for her at the same time. I still like her but I wish she didn't feel like she had to act as outlandish as she does at times.

I used to mention this all the time over at the IMDB boards too. Plain and simple, a man doing this to female guests would be terminated, no question. But a female doing it is somehow considered funny. I'm glad I didn't see the live stream. I get angry just watching her do it on the show. Poor Mario. Someone needs to sit Sheryl down and very kindly tell her that this is not acceptable behavior and she doesn't need to do it in order to be funny.

I think it is because society has a double standard in that Mario should be flattered by a woman's attention. As bad as Sheryl is with that, I think Sherry is even worst and she actually got offended when people have called her out on that type of gross behavior.. I can write a dissertation on the many ways that Sherrie Shepherd has offended my sensibilities.  The woman is a walking disaster..

Mario was on the show not long ago and I wondered if any discussions went on before hand to make sure there wasn't a repeat of that performance on The Talk.

I'll try to find it and post it tomorrow, but last year Aisha interviewed Sheryl on her podcast and she opened up more about her life and the traumas she suffered. It's amazing that she didn't hate her mother for putting her through hell as a child and to that woman's dying day she looked after her, but her mother was so unappreciative. Had Aisha in tears.

Speaking of Aisha, THANK THE LORD SHE'S BACK! I'm not sure about Thursday and Friday, but Regina Hall and another woman are the guest co-hosts so I'm hoping Sharon's back on her broom to England to wreck some young hopeful's dreams.

We can see that Aaron Carter looked a damn mess in his mug shot. We don't need the Wicked Witch of all people making fun of him for it. Especially since she's married to a mess herself.
