This so much! It's like she is just throwing out excuses and lies and seeing what sticks - I don't know him, I know of him, I dated him, it was identity theft, my car was stolen, it was a misunderstanding. It's utterly ridiculous at this point. Honestly, it would have been better if she had just been honest and/or spun it like Oh my gosh, I dated him and when we broke up I kind of lost my mind for a while. I did some really crazy things, but I realized my behavior was a little insane and I've since stopped and am ready to move on.

Some of these charges are so recent it makes me wonder if she was trying to pull an Ashley (as in Ashley and David) and try to make the ex jealous by participating in this show......

Don't worry reality will wipe that goofy smile off their faces and I hear the filming schedule is brutal. I wonder how they do these side shots where the husband or wife speak behind each others back to the camera. Okay Dave I'm going to take Amber aside a few moments to see if there is any dirt she wants to share about you. I wouldn't play that game I'd always say something positive. I wouldn't want to be sitting next to my spouse when she hears me slam her looks or habits.

Nope.

A falsely arrested person's story would not change over and over again. That is the real issue.

I think what bothers people about this show is that these are real people the show is playing with and these real people have to deal with real consequences when filming stops.  What if Mia starts stalking Tristan when all of this is over?  What will his recourse be?  He probably wouldn't be able to sue the show, I'm sure they sign so many papers, stating the show isn't responsible for anything that happens. 

That's the thing about reality TV, these aren't characters on a show.

I was thinking the same. Mia didn't say she was a virgin. She seems reserved but was visibly more affectionate after he decided to stay with her. 

And yes, while a lot of what we see is producer driven, these are real people.

All of that may be true, but I still think the experts and producers put behind the scenes pressure on Tristan to stay in the marriage.  Like give him "advice" about how bad it would look, and that he would go against his beliefs if he left, because it suits their agenda.  The guy is so mixed up and trying so hard  to do the "right thing" that they could convince him of this easily.

As soon as I saw Mia's sister acting strange and pissed off with her for doing the show I knew the family knows she's crazy and does not approve of anything she does.  In fact I am sure I heard her father or sister call her nuts on one of the pre-wedding episodes.

Exactly. Amber is being honest and straightforward. She didn't lie about her own sexual past. She enjoys sex, but she wasn't just looking for a compatible sex partner! Amber was looking for a husband and (soon) a father to their kids.

Not gonna happen. Dave just isn't that guy. He's a "broey bro". And most of his friends probably are, too, because they hang out in groups --men who prioritize their 'bros' over all women, even their own wives.

Yes, Amber's fertility clock is ticking. But if worst comes to worst, she could use a frozen pop or (probably easier) a series of one-night-stands. And maybe, eventually, that's what she will do.

What she wants is a husband that will love their kids and share responsibility for them. And (of course) she wants someone who will love her and have her back. That's why she went on MAFS. She was quite honest about it. The 'experts' knew that, and they chose Dave for her. That's why she's taking this marriage seriously.

 

As usual, the 'experts' got it wrong.

To me, your comment highlights one of the basic issues with this show.  Good couples that have a chance are kind of boring to watch.  The ones that have the drama going on, aren't going to be good, long-term stable couples.

Getting on the show late - I'm a previous watcher.

Mia and Tristen - this is very ironic. The way Mia's father was even treating Tristen in the beginning - so judgey, so cautious. Mia is clearly a psycho female. Stalking charges, fraud - so much for your precious little girl. She is so phoney. I said in the very first episode, there's something really weird about her. Pretty women are always crazy I swear lol.
