Yep, I found out about the change on Futon Critic after watching last night's episode:

1/14/18 (Su.) 9:30 PM FOX (LME-410) Paint Misbehavin'

1/14/18 (Su.) 9:30 PM FOX (LME-410) Nizzle Pizzy in a Dizzle Stizzy

My SpoilerTV link in the "Postcards..." spoiler thread was automatically updated with the new title, and I noted the change there. :)

So...Karl is being left unattended with a house full of babies? They gang didn't know the truth about him, though. I'm sure he likes adults, though.

Tandy is nuts, yeah. But not "eating corpses" crazy. You know what they say: poor communication kills.

Next time: The gang finds out the truth.

I hate to be that guy, but the show messed up its own timeline in this episode.  A couple times earlier in the series, the virus was revealed to have occurred in 2019 and they revealed the present to be early 2024 at the end of Season 2 (probably late 2024 now after the time jump).  Tandy said it had been only four years since the virus (unless they want to reframe the virus as 2020 so it doesn't seem so it doesn't seem so near to viewers).

Are we sure that Karl didn't already eat the babies ?  I don't think we saw any of the babies in  the entire episode.

And are they really going to drag out the 'Jasper ran away' sub-plot until whenever this show returns ?

Likewise, the Rubik's cube/bomb in the house mystery also goes unresolved.
Though Todd was playing with the cube in the cemetery -- so here's the question, if he solved the cube so far away from the house, would the bomb still go off ?
Though I'm still not convinced the bomb trigger is in the Rubik's cube -- because any power source small enough to fit inside the cube would have not lasted 4+ years (even if it seems like 6).

Karl should have killed Tandy just for invading his personal space (i.e. the tapping of Karl's glasses by Tandy).  They don't know each other at all, yet they let Karl roam the house unescorted -- especially since Karl couldn't his stories straight, because one of his nicknames was Mr. Story Un-straightener (that whole conversation was not funny, and painful to watch).

Nizzle pizzy in a dizzle stizzy = Tandyese for "Nose picker in a dust storm." :p Yeah, I can see why they changed the title! xD Also, when Tandy said, "This situation just went from serious to ... grave," I was like, "What, no 'boom' with that one?"

I was actually glad to see the main group again. :) Melissa continues to be the voice of reason, and I thought even Carol was a lot less obnoxious than she's been lately. (Though Jasper wasn't credited as a guest star, there was a brief glimpse of him after Melissa set out the cooler.)

Nice callbacks to all the times Tandy had been a poor judge of character before (Pamela, Pat vs. Lewis, Phil 2, not to mention how he had tried to kill Todd early on and didn't get along with Carol at first); funny that his instincts about someone are pretty much right on the money this time, but nobody believes him until he eventually convinces Todd to accompany him in following Karl to the graveyard.

Next episode won't be until Sunday, March 11 (one week after the Oscars)!

ugh.  I feel like the producers are doing anything and everything they can to get people to stop watching this show.  I think I just reached my limit.

That being said... one final question...  how is Carol powering a flat iron?  Even if they have a generator, is that really the best use of a limited source of energy?  (oops, that's two questions...)

Karl's rendition of Benny & The Jets was fantastic. I also loved Tandy and Todd's faces as they realised that Karl was a cannibal.

Karl must really love the taste of maggots, because I assume that's a large part of any 4+ year-old buried corpse.  Unless it was embalmed, in which case, extra spicy!

Yeah, I was thinking either maggots, or Karl would only have bones to gnaw on by now :p (unless, like you said, that particular body was embalmed). But anyway, yeesh, what a helluva thing for the show to end on before taking a two-month break!

I thought the BatJ scene went on a bit long -- but then those sorts of cringey, overly-long gags are right in Forte's wheelhouse, and Fred's performance was pretty darn good for a character whose "semi-professional" piano-playing is supposed to be suspect. xD Also, while I found the episode itself rather anti-climactic for a mid-season finale -- granted, there was no way they could've ever topped that Phil's-surgery / Mike-hurtling-to-Earth sequence from s.2, but the emotional "Shangri-La" montage in s.3 at least seemed to try -- I did enjoy Karl's interactions with Tandy (SNL "Kelly Brothers" reunion! "Yaaaaa..." :D ) and Gail.

Yeah, I liked this episode but I really expected it to end on a cliffhanger. On the other hand, a part of me is glad it didn't, because now I don't have to spend two months worrying if any of my faves are gonna die.

I wonder how the crew are gonna get away from Karl? Is yet another move gonna be on the cards?

Hulu has the episode. It was pre-empted where I live, too.

It was good to see that even Tandy has his limit on how gross something can be. Puking in the graveyard was actually an appropriate response.

After all they've all been through, though, I thought it was strange that they trusted the newcomer so easily and completely. This show is completely plot driven at this point.

I was glad Karl went to the cemetery instead of randomly running in to Jasper when he was driving.

I like that Melissa apparently found Jasper but decided to respect him by leaving supplies and not giving away his whereabouts. He can then know he's cared for, without being dominated. She's right that he managed on his own for a long time before they met. I understand Todd's feelings, but this is not a normal situation and he can't graft on pre-virus rules to this situation.

I missed this episode b/c of sportsball. I even tape with an extension on Sundays but my extension wasn't long enough. Sad!

I keep forgetting about football too and I have to watch it on On Demand, which means sitting through the commercials.

The thing with the band-aid was so gross! I find it unlikely nobody would be suspicious of this guy who claimed to be a prison guard - surely it would cross at least one of their minds that he might have actually been an inmate. They just accepted him a little too easily, I think.

I was going to comment on these exact two things. I loved the Benny & the Jets scene, particularly when Karl first started playing. Actually, I expected Tandy to accept the playing as good -- I don't know why I expected that -- but I'm glad that he clearly knew it was bad.

And Tandy & Todd's reaction to seeing Karl eat part of a corpse made me cackle. I loved it.

I think it's kind of sweet that Karl is trying not to eat his friends. I think his resorting to digging up a corpse will actually gain him sympathy from the group.

When Karl was painting Gail, was that music from 'Silence of the Lamb's in the background??

Yep, 100% it was. Recognized it right away. Buffalo Bill's tuck-dance music. It is Goodbye Horses, and Clerks used it as a parody of the Silence of the Lambs scene.

Scratch that -- FOX is pre-empting the return of the Sunday night lineup for this:

OJ SIMPSON: THE LOST CONFESSION? :p

So LMOE won't be back until March 18. :\ (Also, 'Ghosted' has been pulled from the schedule for now, and 'Brooklyn 9-9' is going in its place.)

I used to like Soledad O'Brien, but this is just sad.  It's going to be the 2018 version of Geraldo and Al Capone's vault -- all buildup with no pay off.

I guess Fox didn't want to burn off new content against the Oscars, but didn't decide this until the last minute for some reason.
It's not like they didn't know the Oscars were on March 5 this year when they originally scheduled everything.  Then again, it's Fox.
