S06.E03: Back In The Saddle

Surprisingly, I have liked Katie so far this season. She doesn't seem high strung like seasons past and so far she's stayed out of mean girl antics and alcohol induced fights and it's made a difference it seems.

Sandoval and Jax are so extra but Sandoval getting descriptive about what he wants from Ariana and talking to her brother about their dry spell...just please, no! My first thought when Sandoval was talking about the dry spell, I thought that it may be because Ariana is completely comfortable in the relationship and pursuing her individual interests and therefore doesn't have as much time/energy to put into that kind of stuff. But she then acknowledged that they're going through some stuff...so my theory is that perhaps she's withdrawing a bit to give Sandoval pause and repel all those talks he was having about wanting to marry her and have children with her when she was very vocal about not wanting those things.

James has been well behaved so far. When Jax was telling the group about Brittany's phone call, James seemed to enjoy the drama but refrained from escalating the situation. And speaking of that phone call, Jax was downright scary when he began yelling. They need to do clinical trials on this guy. He's a pathological liar and has the audacity to lose his temper in that fashion when someone doesn't believe him. That's just psychotic to me. The fact that girls told Brittany exactly what to expect in his reaction and he did exactly as they predicted is enough proof of his pattern of destruction and lies. Brittany has horrible self-esteem if she puts up with this....or she just like the cameras. In any case, she's definitely not worried about losing her friendships. All of the girls who have known Jax far longer all have supported her and seem to want her to leave Jax because she's too good for him. And on a last note, it's really rich that Jax seemed angry in his THs while talking about the women making comments about his relationship with Brittany and what she should do about him being unfaithful. He wants all of the girls to mind their business but isn't he one of the biggest gossipers on the show (among both the male and female cast)? Jax's ego just thrives on either bragging about shit that he shouldn't (which eventually gets him into trouble) or talking about other people's business so that the drama can be focused on them while he can look like the good guy (often gets him in trouble). And then he complains that he just can't win and at some point always throws out the line 'I have no reason to lie' yet he's always caught lying.

So the gals has a KY-party? Nice to see the gals united by their hatred of Jax. Heh, it appears they predicted exactly what he was going to tell Britanny. Too bad she's too desperate for TV time to dump Jax. BTW, Jax, the expression is "could not care less".

It appears that Stassi's "party planning" gig is really successful businesswoman Lisa Vanderbuck's way of getting free labor. If Stassi knew what a party planner is, she'd know it's the underlings who perform the table setting and placing of the flowers she ordered. You know, what Schemer was whining about when she found out what Stassi was doing.

I don't rememeber or care enough to remember, but wasn't there a story about Arianna no longer being able to afford horse riding or something?

The thing about this show is that they all know each other so well, they are always drunk, and their loyalties shift like the wind. To the extent that their fucking each other over seems manipulated, it's because the 3 characteristics that I've listed above are constants. Jax has stopped letting Sandoval and Schwartz in on his indiscretions because he knows that they'll dime him out to their girls. Of course he never counted on Faith going directly to the women.

The thing about the fakery is that it comes straight from the cast. It never involves production. Scheana and Ariana lied and gaslighted Kristen season 1 and 2 because they both knew Sandoval cheated on Kristen with Ariana. Stassi lied about fucking Frank before she broke with Jax. Kristen did help to fly Miami girl in to have her confront Sandoval while he was working. They love and hate each other in such a violent fashion that they go to extremes.

James girlfriend has an IQ of 68 .... she comes off as if she’s missing a chromosome.... then she looked shocked when Lisa asked her what she does for work and she’s like model duh ..... no wonder James bangs other sluts .... she’s too dumb to figure it out that he cheats ....

The dry spell stuff is bullshit.  These people are young.  Why the fuck would you wanna stay with someone you have no interest in having sex with anymore -- when you're young?  Are we supposed to believe FI & Ari wanna have sex with NOBODY for months at a time?  Something doesn't smell right here.  Sure, this stuff is TMI, but they both shared it with us on cam, right?  Eh, I'm sure we're not getting the whole story here.  I smell a ton of bullshit goin' on.

And speaking of bullshit . . . ah, there's Lala.  You know, she's knee-deep (no, actually, she's chin-deep) in mountains of bullshit.  She's reminding me of Gretchen.  She's at a point for me, where I just consider EVERYTHING that comes out of her trap complete & total bullshit.

Now, as far as Schwartzie & Katie & their supposed dry spells?  Doesn't this seem to be the nature of their relationship -- as they both spelled out over & over & over?  And they got married anyway.  So maybe it works for them.  Hey, it's not what I would want, but if they're happy, then God bless.  Or they could be full of crap too.  Oh, look, there is so much phony-baloney scripted stuff going on with this show, I don't trust much of what they throw out at us.

Jax and Brittany richly deserve each other.  i think they would keep Brittany as a cast member even if she dumped Jax-- she seems beloved by everybody else.  Makes it even more sick that she stays with him. 

Sick of their pointless relationship drama and ready for Katie and Toms pointless relationship drama to start next week!  Yay Lala. 

I liked James Kennedys girlfriend turning up to clean up puppy poop in a halter top with a keyhole neckline and tight pants.  

Is it wrong that I laughed when Ariana was thrown by that horse.  Kudos to Walter the horse.  But of course she ended up winning a blue ribbon --because dontcha know guys she is a real competitive cool girl who loves to win!

I’m going to need the gang to kick it up a notch. It’s like they ALL gave up. Jax doesn’t even TRY to lie anymore. Sandoval and Ariana don’t even TRY to act smugly superior than the others anymore. Even Kristin had a prime case to investigate—but nary a cyber-sleuth nor a fake text entrapment. Faith is RIGHT there—you don’t even need to use any airplane miles to fly her in—and you’re not even setting up a confrontation?! Both Schwartz AND DJ Jazzy James are trying to be responsible employees. Katie’s calm, Stassi’s meek, and Scheana seems to have some basic self-awareness. Who ARE these people?? Come on! This is lame. ALL of the other Bravo shows are also now lame. (Come on, RHNY, the pressure is on to carry this network single-handedly!)

I would say maybe this means they're growing up. But I think the more likely reason is they're all too lazy and just phoning it in at this point. They're all starting to look a little worse for wear too. I wouldn't be surprised if the whole cast gets an overhaul soon and LVP and Bravo try it with a new and fresh group.

I have just binge watched the latest 3 episodes. My take on why Brittany is so “horny” all of a sudden? Her mom advised her to have a trap baby. That way, Jax And his money are in their lives forever, plus more screen time for Brittany. 

I have also been really enjoying Scenes with James... not so much his vapid girlfriend. It’s amazing how much more tolerable weed makes some people.

I wouldn’t be surprised. I thought the Faith pregnancy scare was a little random to be dropped so suddenly. I think a Jax spawn is going to be the Chekhov’s gun of this season, by the 3rd act it’s going to show up.

Stassi as an event planner.  Yeah, lame plot device.  Can you see her planning an event?  I wanted hydrangeas, but you have roses instead?  Yeah, I like roses better, plus hydrangeas are so last year.  

She'd do whatever she liked best, and I can't see her paying attention to details.  She'd make each event all about her, anyhow.  Screw the bride and groom, look what I did!!

I watch so seldom, and it always hits me how stupid these people really are.  

Jax is a cheating rat.  The end (no offense to other rats).  I'm betting Brittany's mother is telling her to stay with Jax, as he's her ticket out of obscurity.  All she'd have to do is get another hot boyfriend, and there'd be conflict with Jax.  A storyline for at least one season.   Jax can have all the therapy he wants, he'll never be 100% faithful.  When he said girlfriends are a dime a dozen, that was your clue - every woman on the planet.

The correct phrase is I could NOT care less.  Drives me crazy.  Jax also said it's just between Brittany and I.  No.  It's between Brittany and ME.  So many of these reality "stars" think they're sounding more educated by saying "I" in sentences instead of "me", when the "me" is correct.  Also drives me crazy.   

Everyone else is boring.  Off to find something else to watch.

You'e right, there is a bit of a pattern there. I posted in another thread that Brandi, Lala and Erika Jayne have three of the worst mouths on Bravo. 

With Brandi, I think Lisa needed an ally for RHOBH, did play some chess getting Brandi to go against people she didn't like, and then used her for the Vanderpump Rules spin-off.

I'm not sure what Lisa gets out of Lala other than perhaps someone she thinks makes good reality TV? I don't know, but I enjoyed the original cast sans Lala. Stassi in particular makes me laugh.

IMO it's because Lisa, at her age, is vulgar like a middle school boy.  She enjoys the more profane vulgarities of the younger set even though she can't pull them off herself 😃
