I thought Wendy's money was all tied up, so how is she going to fund a restaurant?  I guess she could get investors but whoever would take that chance has to be very optimistic.  If I recall, I heard that Kevin was planning/has opened his own (Italian!?) restaurant in NY or NJ.  Is that the only business that these folks are capable of attaching themselves to?  Seems like every celebrity thinks they have what it takes to open a restaurant.  I remember that Britney Spears opened one here in NYC and it only lasted a few months, and there have been many others.  Robert Deniro seems to be one of the few that got lucky - he is part owner of the famous place Nobu.

I don't want to imagine what the menu at Wendy's place would look like - a mishmash of dishes that have no connection, just things that she likes, and a bottle of hot sauce on every table.

Wow! I didn't know that. We have 2 Nobu restaurants in Southern California. Newport Beach and L.A. I wonder if De niro is part owner in all of the Nobu restaurants? 

And yes, there is the valid point that IF Wendy is really opening her own restaurant, does that mean Wells Fargo has resolved all the issues with her bank account? 

Wendy is a liar and she can't keep track of her lies. However, most of us can,  and everything about her behavior and her words is blatantly bull$hit.

Possibly you will still see these items and more on SS new show. It doesn't take a genius to know what WW segments were popular. And not because of Wendy.

I hope SS will bring back the Celebrity Look Alike segment. Wendy didn't invent it so maybe there will be some parts of the show that are the same but different. Done in SS style. (Whatever that might be.)

I cut the following paragraphs from @oliviabenson's comment:

To me, this phrase "sign off" sounds like he wanted them to pay for this rehab and is now spinning it like they turned their back on Wendy.  In addition, he seems to be amazed that they said that if she didn't stop drinking, they'd take the show away.  Duh!  Kevin seems to think very immaturely, like the world owes Wendy a living, paying for rehab and keeping the door open for her indefinitely.

omg, STFU Kelvin! Yeah, this is all Debmar-Mercury's fault, nothing to do with the fact that "The intervention took place about a month and a half before Hunter would go on to welcome a child with Sharina Hudson". Not saying Wendy isn't responsible for her own actions and sobriety, but it was obviously the baby/divorce that sent her off the rails.

And Kevin obviously thinks the same way as Wendy, thinking they should have just held her job for her indefinitely when she was doing nothing to help herself. Even in divorce, they are quite the pair.

Yeah, you'd think the baby was the game changer, but I'm not even 100% sure of that anymore. I almost think Wendy might have even tolerated that as long as it was on the down low and she could still play "all is well in Hunterville". But Sharina wasn't having it and Kelvin was the one who wanted out.

You guys have to keep in mind that Wendy lost 2 baby girls before having Kevin jr.  So it must have been a kick in the gut to know that Sharina gave Kevin the daughter that she never could.

Omigosh... this is just getting sadder by the moment.

So a fan saw Wendy in a car in Soho & made a video talking to her. He said he stopped filming when he realized she was out of it. (Although, he later released the video on TikTok.)

Wendy Williams apparently jumped the gun on announcing she was married ... because her rep is now saying it's just not true.

A recent report from Hollywood Unlocked claimed Wendy had said she was married to a cop named Henry with the NYPD ... but she wouldn't say much more than that. However, Wendy's rep is shutting the report down.

The rep told Page 6, “She is excited about a new relationship and probably got carried away in conversation.”

And JMOO millions of people go through divorce, custody battles,  cheating spouses,  financial losses, health issues. Why do people think W is some martyr who deserves to be considered a legend? Poor poor Wendy. 

 I have no sympathy for her. I do have sympathy and compassion for cancer survivors, domestic violence survivors, people who are permanently disabled from wounds suffered in the military defending our freedom. The list is long and WW is NOT on it.

It is sad to see how Wendy has fallen and I wish her well..  I hear that she is on the outs with her son and that is unfortunate.. Where did it all go wrong? Her issues are deeper than Kevin sr and his infidelities.  He cheated on Wendy when she was pregnant bed-ridden due to her high-risk pregnancy and she took him back.  There is more to this story in my opinion and it makes me sad.

Yes. It is sad because there are millions of "Wendys" in this world struggling to put their lives back together in the aftermath of all of the unfortunate things life throws their way.

Wendy has (had) an opportunity to be an advocate/spokesperson for so many important problems that regular people have to deal with every day: spousal abuse, health issues, addictions, infidelity. Instead of helping others by being open, honest and courageous she continues to pretend all is well in WendyLand. 

She needs psychological help. I do hope someone in her family/life can get her there.

I think they actually could be that bad. She's worn fishnet pantyhose for a very long time to hide something. She's not wearing pantyhose in those photos so I'm guessing that really is her "au natural". 

And where is Wendy going when all of these recent photos are taken? Is she driving herself? Taking a cab/Uber? Going shopping? Going to a nice restaurant? She's supposed to be broke. Wells Fargo has her money.

I can't believe there is not one single person in her life to help her "stop the madness." I'm embarrassed for her and I don't even like her.

Two months ago she stated she had the mind and body of a 25 year old. Now she's claiming she looks 30 years old. She just aged herself 5 years in 2 months. 

And why is her face so fat? Plastic surgery? Restalyn? Collagen? Cheek implants? Those procedures aren't free.

We all know Sherri Shepard's new talk show is coming up next month. Odd that now, WW wants to be in the news.

ETA/FYI: I don't hate WW. I just dislike her. I save my hate for child abusers and animal abusers. Those 2 categories are enough!

^ Agreed. Even if she had nice legs (which obviously she doesn't) the short shorts are not a good look. I don't know what she sees when she looks in the mirror, but it's sure not a 30 y.o. I don't even know what's wrong with her legs, is it stretch marks or just extremely crepy skin? I've never seen anything like that on a 58 y.o. Funny in the Daily Mail article, her legs look like that, except in the last picture posted, they look pretty normal.

It seems the manager is rushing this podcast into production because even he can see that Wendy's steadily declining and he's gotta make the move sooner rather than later.  I think the manager has his hooks in and he's determined to get a podcast on and get advertising dollars coming in.  Wendy is just his puppet now and his end goal is to make money off her. 

Wendy's situation reminds me of what Bruce Willis went through - there was talk that someone (agent/manager/opportunist) was exploiting him to make as many movies as possible before he's incapacitated.  When/if this podcast does somehow get produced, I don't think Will is above having Wendy use an earpiece like Bruce, feeding her lines.  What a mess.

What is with all of the "news" reports about a variety of Wendy gossip stories? I've gotten stories every day in my news feed about her weight loss, that she claims she's REALLY married to a NYPD cop, her son has been banned from coming to her penthouse, her son claims Wendy has always been lazy (duh!) her brother and W are not speaking.

My intuition says Kev Jr is, at least, a pot smoker. Great person to have around mom when she is an addict of many substances.

September 2nd is the premier of Sherri's talk show so I'm sure Wendy will be putting herself in the spotlight even more frequently. 

I wish Carson Kressley could have gotten the talk show host gig but I don't mind Sherri. I know most people don't like her but I appreciate her humbleness to always thank established comedians (and others) for being kind to her and giving her chances when she was a nobody. 

Wendy always thought she was the "pioneer woman" who got others into the genre. Maybe she did. Maybe she didn't. Wendy will never win back my wasted time of liking her (over a decade ago)

I’m going to give it a shot.  I liked Sheri in the beginning, but she got too loud and hyper.  Just hope she calms down and has good guests.  There’s nothing else on 10 am here.  Is it for sure Wendy got married again, or just a hoax?  Anyone know?  I haven’t read anything in the N.Y. Papers.

Yeah the clapping thing and pumping up the audience may have been a requirement of Wendy. I think Suzanne has other important functions on the show.

Wendy's alleged marriage to a NYPD cop is old news. The crazy stories just keep coming! If she really married a NYPD officer she would let the world know in photos. Even if they had to pixel out his face for security ressons.

I’m actually surprised Wendy stood in N.Y. In her apartment.  I thought she would go to Florida near relatives.  Unless she has many friends here .. I don’t know, but who knows what’s going on with her family and son.  Or, her health for that matter.  Maybe she has lots of doctors here.  I know people that moved to Florida, but still travel to N.Y. To see their doctors.  It’s not uncommon.

@Chenoa333.     You live there across country, and I live here, yet you know more than me, lol.  I haven’t read anything here pertaining to her.  Maybe everyone here is sick of the bullshit.  Then again, I’m on Long Island, and the N.Y. Post usually prints about the celebrities, which I rarely read, plus all the crime in the City.  I haven’t been in the City in 2 and a half years because of the pandemic and crime.  Mostly tourists go into the City, not locals.  Anyway, about California. I love “The Housewives of Orange County”.  Do you know when they are coming back on Bravo?

Not for sure but I think they are coming up soon in the normal rotation of Bravo HoWives shows. Tamra is back too!

As far as Wendy news stories go, I don't know why but I get so many and lots more lately. It's probably a Google thing. Like that commercial about Google knowing "every move you make" while on the internet. Lol!

I think too many people tried to “control” her in Florida and that’s why she hightailed it back to NYC. Her ex was there, her family and her son. All wanted a piece of her as well as control if they could get her into a rehab or mental health facility. She wants freedom to do what she wants when she wants. I suspect not all of her choices are good ones either.
