They had Jay do a workshop at the grocery store one season on MTT (Holly Hubbard's rookie season). It was great! 

Then one season Kelli was sending them to My Fit Foods, that was neat, too.

That still just irks me. She couldn't even pretend to take it seriously. We get it, you think you're cute and funny. Now it's time to learn how to be a big girl. We have those people at work. Just can't tell when it is time to be serious

You know, I don't even know why I follow the DCC.  They always make me feel terrible about myself; like I should care more about how I look.  Then the alarm goes off at 6 am and I'm like, "snnnnnoooozzzeee button; at least I showered last night."  Seeing all these girls look so pretty all of the time just deadens my already cold heart.  

I remember hard core obsessing about Ashton Torres's fake eyelashes a few years back and I even asked my husband if he would mind my spending like $200 every two weeks on them.  Obviously he said no - he said we have to feed our children or something? #bummer

Michelle got a couple into camp too, right? I know she did Brennan's solo.  Hannah Anderson didn't make it to camp and i believe she did her solo...who else?

YES.  she is gorgeous! I think she and Molly Neumeister are two of the most beautiful this year.  

Michelle keys also did Kelli Quinn's solo. Kelli gave her a thank you on her Instagram today.

That's a lot of money and effort, it's probably hell on their skin, and if the Scholz  sisters are to be believed, they are required to look like DCC every time they set foot outside. No thank you. I don't care that much about being pretty.

That girl couldn't take anything seriously. She wasn't ready maturity wise. Would love to see her come back now several years later more grown up.

I don't think Lauren will be cut for her abs. I mean, look at the 6-pack Kelli Q has! I think Lauren is a great candidate. She was a Dolphins cheerleader and probably got pointers/a recommendation from former DCC Brooke.

There was defs media there because I've seen the random photo here and there but no one has released anything yet. Taking their time...

If the Heather/Allie rumor is true and it’s unrelated to dancing then these judges should be ashamed of themselves. Assuming appearance didn’t change (which it didn’t if you look at recent pictures) they shouldn’t make it one year, bust their tails for DCC for a year, out-perform the competition in their solos and then get the boot the next year while some questionable vets return. They call her little Heather for a reason… she’s tiny and this is a dancing position is it not? I hope this wasn’t some stupid ploy for CMT viewership purposes and I still hope what I heard about Heather H isn’t true. If the rumor is true, Kudos to her for posting that happy Instagram and not letting this wretchedly bad audition process tear her down. I agree with @pizzaislife … bring a second pitchfork and torch

Thanks for all the updates, links and photos on this thread!  I wish every new TCC the very best of luck.  Congrats to all the returning vets!  I loved seeing all the costumes and solos and great action shots of the auditioning girls.  I hope that if any of the vets were cut, they find a happy new direction for their lives and I will miss them.  

Looking forward to the show in August to see more details!

I'm dying to know the real story behind the cuts. Hopefully DCC:MTT will cover them. 

Can't wait until the new season starts. 

Not looking forward to:

--Kelly's genius system of yes no maybe

--the near constant use of the phrase 'kicks are a deal breaker or deal maker'

Love: 

--rookie makeovers 

--occasionally Kelly gets so into the girls' performance that she doesn't make notes and just watches, while doing this little shimmy sway.

Not only while some questionable vets return, but while some unproven potential rookies are accepted.  I hate to be "that" person, but sometimes I wonder if some cuts happen not for drama for the show, but to get the point across that nobody is safe & that it's true that you have to earn your spot back.

@RazzleberryPie yeah, I wanna see Yuko's solo too. Terribly interesting that it's one vet solo no one has footage of... Too bad our inside scoop columnist left the board. Surely they'd know where to get that..

What did you hear about Heather that you hope isn't true? I'm still so upset about her cut! And Allie's. And because I'm upset, I'm going to be honest and say something probably unpopular here. I think both ladies are prettier and maybe better dancers than the beloved Maddie, who has a straight waist and looks more like a little girl than either cut vet.  I liked watching A and H way more than Maddie. The girl is all teeth when she smiles and while "cute," she has zero sex appeal to me. I always figured Maddie had made the team in spite of her looks, and I appreciate that they take on quality ladies whose stellar qualities are about more than their looks. So cutting two of that class's best dancers and smartest ladies over looks (especially given the tight yet curvy figure Heather has) while letting Maddie or Milan back on the squad, to me, is ridiculous. Don't get me wrong, Maddie has grown on me and she made me a moderate fan of hers, but she just doesn't look like a DCC to me. I'm not saying I wish Maddie didn't make it--I'm glad she did!--but I just don't see why these two Barbie winners didn't and will be watching for a serious explanation come episode 2.

I really hope no one here falls down the conspiracy theory vortex, that girls were cut as part of some massive cover up to protect Holly.  Sometimes it is fun to let our imaginations run wild, I guess??? but hopefully we can all take a step back now that Scooby Doo has moved on to bigger things and remember that most ppl on the judging panel aren't going to vote against or for girls based on gossip and rumors. We know every year some girls make it back thanks in PART to "politics" or Kelli's gut, but there is a panel for a reason and 99% of the time Kelli wants to take ppl to camp that have an overwhelming amount of yeses.  I don't know... as much as we may not always understand their decisions I trust that they have reasons that aren't based on Page 6.

I wonder if CMT is filming right now the new girls moving down to Dallas, getting settled in apartments, etc?? Or do you think they wait till after Memorial Day? that was part of the show I've always enjoyed, seeing them with their uhauls, moving into a new place with another girl on the squad...wondering to myself just how awkward it would be if a week in one of you is cut... (seriously, how DOES that work? does cut girl just decide to stay on for rest of summer to foot her part of rent??) 

And maybe this should go into Current DCC thread, but it was interesting that so many of the vets IG'd getting their uniforms back.  I don't remember seeing that before? I admit the material of the shorts and top look a lot prettier than i thought so close up.
