Bort December 9, 2016 Share December 9, 2016 Quote With out-of-town trips planned for the adults, Uncle Joey delivers doughnuts -- and unexpected drama. Stephanie's nervous about singing on television. Link to comment
Lady Calypso December 10, 2016 Share December 10, 2016 Urg, Joey. I don't know why they leave HIM as the babysitter. Look at his kids! Get a babysitter that actually lives in town! And look what he did now. But we got to see Matt take on the caretaker role, and I laughed really hard at this exchange: "How are we doing in the girls' ward?" *DJ and Ramona groan* "Looks like I made it to wine country after all." I'm going to be so sad when Matt and DJ break up for DJ/Steve to happen, which I think we all know is inevitable. As long as we don't lose Matt. Please never lose Matt. He's super awesome. Oh, I guess Becky and Jesse changed their minds? The adoption story was almost good. Again, I know it's a sitcom, but I'm pretty sure the adoption agency woman could get in trouble for manipulating potential clients for her own personal gain. And I knew what was going to happen as soon as Fernando said the words "Police Mom" and when Stephanie tagged along with them. I loved the Jesse/Steph moment. It was just so sweet and I remember why I loved their interactions the best. Danny and Kimmy co-hosting the show together was only going to go extremely horrible, and boy did it deliver. What's hilarious is that Kimmy's number wasn't even called. Yeah, I forgot Fernando was a famous racecar driver. 3 Link to comment
mj2000 December 10, 2016 Share December 10, 2016 Love the Jesse/Steph moment too. Jesse always had a special relationship with the girls and his own way of dealing with them. Was their any doubt that Kimmy was going to end up on the show somehow??? As crazy as I imagined it. 2 Link to comment
WhosThatGirl December 10, 2016 Share December 10, 2016 Joey is the worst! He can't even get doughnuts? And him ruining the nice moment with Matt and the kids isn't funny. It's annoying as hell. 4 Link to comment

I gotta hand it to her for having the restraint to get a small B-cup boob job instead of going for the Katy Perry level. Them getting stuck in the jail cell felt classic 90's sitcom. tennisgurl December 11, 2016 Share December 11, 2016 The second I saw that jail cell, I knew exactly where this was all going. Classic sitcom. Normally I would role my eyes, but, eh, its Fuller House. Its to be expected. Freaking Joey. Worst baby sitter ever! "No Nepotism here"! 2 Link to comment
WhosThatGirl December 12, 2016 Share December 12, 2016 I just don't understand how Joey can screw up buying doughnuts and why people think it's funny he's such a screw up to give everyone good poisoning. Like nothing Joey does is funny ever. He's like the worst character on this show. And I'm sorry that moment as I said before where he ruined the boys moment with Matt was annoying as all hell. DJa "wtf" face was totally me in that moment. 2 Link to comment

Boyett ... if you're reading this, keep Matt as endgame. I get the nostalgia of Steve/DJ, but Matt is so, so, so much better. It's like they're setting me up to get my heart broken, too. The worst part is, I can see a version of the show where there is no triangle and Steve could be the character that Matt is (minus the co-worker thing) and it would be fine and I'd be all about DJ/Steve. But because they made Steve weird and clingy and gave us Matt instead ... my vote is going to be Matt all the way. 8 Link to comment
ShortyMac December 13, 2016 Share December 13, 2016 Food poisoning from donuts? Only on a sitcom. lol The Jesse/Stephanie moment; sweet. Matt with the boys and Cosmo...my heart melted. It felt so right and I'm glad DJ got to witness it. One of my favorite scenes of the season. 3 Link to comment
LaChavalina December 13, 2016 Share December 13, 2016 For continuity's sake, I just have to mention that it's not strictly true that Becky "never missed a show" in 30 years. That's how we ended up with Danny and Vicki together. 5 Link to comment
Primetimer December 15, 2016 Share December 15, 2016 My kind made people sick, but in S02.E09, we also brought them closer together. View the full article Link to comment
betha December 16, 2016 Share December 16, 2016 Bob Saget is so ... off. Is he high? He doesn't seem like Danny Tanner at all. The mannerisms are way too much and too campy. It's like he forgot how to act. Which is weird because he seemed fine in the How I Met Your Mother voiceovers. maybe he just forgot how to be Danny. And his plastic surgery is distracting. :( Link to comment
WhosThatGirl December 16, 2016 Share December 16, 2016 I just think Bob is over dealing with this show? I don't know. I think BTS he loves all of these people, he's always at the group hangs they had that were all over social media back in the day before the revival and when john did the rippers thing on Jimmy Fallon he was the audience playing along as Danny, but I think actually having to step back in the role is daunting for him. That's just how I view it. Link to comment
methodwriter85 December 20, 2016 Share December 20, 2016 He haaaaattttes this part. I think the only reason he came back was for the money and for the love of his cast members. 1 Link to comment
McManda December 20, 2016 Share December 20, 2016 Could you imagine if Bob Saget passed on Fuller House? I don't think the show could handle the double dose of passive aggressiveness that would have been filed out between him and the Olson twins. 1 Link to comment

Doesn't feel like I'm watching him play the same character. Kind of same with DJ but not as bad with her. I remember DJ having a different type of personality. More of a laid back, not as loud and in your face. But it seems to be the theme of the reboot. Loud and annoying 1 Link to comment
Chicken Wing December 20, 2016 Share December 20, 2016 With DJ it seems more that they wrote her character differently, made her an uptight, over the top nerd mom, but Candace seems to have a handle on "being D.J." With Danny, the character feels the same -- he still says and does Danny things -- but Bob just seems at times like he doesn't know how to play the character anymore. 5 Link to comment

I mean I remember for a while after the series ended that Bob Saget said he was now being more of "himself" than Danny Tanner. Even when he appeared on America's Funniest Home Videos and even the episode of Quantum Leap he did. He was still being Danny Tanner and not Bob Saget. I remember watching him on Comic Relief and his stand up was different than I was used to. I remember seeing Dave Coulie on Even Stevens and Yes, Dear and he was kind of a toned down Joey in those. I guess it depends on things, especially when Coulie has been doing a lot of voice acting in the last 30 years and Bob Saget has done more voice over and game show hosting than being the neat freak, single dad. Plus, keep in mind, Danny as he said: "I turned 60 and I don't know how to be." Plus, he's remarried, even though they never really give us any insight on his new wife and his oldest daughter is a widow reliving his life in a way. You think at this point, Danny would either still be Danny or just come to a point where he just needs to be there for his daughter and grandkids and have some support from his 2nd wife. 2 Link to comment

Loud and annoying Yeah, I remember DJ as more laid back too. But we left her at age 17 when Full House ended. People change when they become an adult, especially when they have kids, so I can sort of buy her becoming more loud and annoying. I mean, Stephanie seemed different as a kid too. I would never have guessed that she'd want a music career. But yeah, Bob Saget seems like he's not even trying. 3 Link to comment
