K/J are officially getting softer than some veterans guts if they let her miss the game for her sister's wedding (side note, I'm glad she went and was able to regardless). I just hate that they harp on the rule of not missing a practice or a game if that's not really the policy.

I think this is one of the unintended consequences of the success of MTT and the girls' popularity on social media. Whatever the rules are, Kelli and Judy and the organization come off awful if they tell a girl she has to miss a family wedding, and nothing is truly private with any of them anymore. They sort of have no choice to but to "let" her go.

The Dallas Morning News always publishes a number of game day photos after the Cowboys home games.  http://sportsday.dallasnews.com/dallas-cowboys/cowboysphotos/2016/09/26/photos-zeke-leaps-bears-cowboys-celebrate-first-home-victory-year  I tend to like the DMN photo spreads because they are not filtered and curated by the Cowboys organization, and seem to capture more of the spontaneous action of a game day.

The swimsuit photoshoot behind the scenes videos for the girls (at least the snippets I saw on twitter) are so cringeworthy...the constant slow motion, body panning...it's just so CHEESY.  These girls are gorgeous but I personally do not find the videos flattering.

She's always wearing the pink, I just googled her name and only one picture of a nice wine colored lipstick showed up. The rest were pink.

Yuko's profile says  she's has 8 years of rhythmic gymnastics experience. Isn't that what Kat was?

If Yuko does have RG experience it must not have been anywhere good because Yuko's ballet technique is awful compared to Kat's (and several other DCC as well).

Ballet technique is very important to be succesfull in RG.

I consider nursing programs that gear toward RN licensure impressively difficult subjects. Heavy on anatomy, physiology, statistics, chemistry, pharmacology, etc., and when it's time for clinicals, no one cares if you need to learn sexy hips or how to walk in heels. 

Totally different than a dance major or something that can be done 90% online at your own pace.

Tasha may be a little vapid and have her priorities all sorts of twisted up, but i do like her and she seems like she has a good heart.  She doesn't gossip or bad mouth anyone (from what that we've seen), and she always seems pleasant and sweet.  Which is more than 99% of the humans I interact with each day can say for themselves!

what???  you mean sexy hips and walking heels ISN'T the most important thing in life???  surely you jest!?

Yes - nursing is definitely amongst the other impressively difficult subjects in life!

Research has shown the BSN program has more tests, papers etc than any other college program.  It is because we are dealing with lives so the responsibility is huge.  Many clinicals are 12 hours long so not sure how she is able to manage doing 1 if not 2 days a week of clinical experience.

I presume she has no summer clinicals or classes, or is taking pre-reqs. Kudos to her if she can work all that in, but even if she is a brainiac energizer bunny, a person simply cannot be in multiple places at once. There are only so many hours in a day.

Some of the girls went to New Jersey with Shelly the past two days. I wonder if they had an appearance there. Holly's snap of Shelly singing was hilarious.

100% agree (I'm an ICU nurse).  If we missed ONE clinical, it was academic probation. Two, and you were out of the program. Between clinicals, class, physical assessment labs, skills labs, and lectures, there were *NO* days off from school, except weekends.  And if you weren't at school, you were studying your butt off because in order to graduate from the program, you could earn no less than an 81% on each exam and have no less than an average grade of 81% on your homework/papers/projects. No rounding up or extra credit.  It was rigorous & difficult. Felt like mental boot camp!

When that former TCC quit training camp because of her anatomy class, I understood why.  You couldn't possibly get a good enough grade in it with the schedule for TC. I know Colin was an RN, but she finished nursing school before auditions, although I believe she did take the NCLEX during TC. Was Jackie Bob also an RN? I know she & Colin worked for the same plastic surgeon.

Back to OT: I loved the commentary in the plaza video!  Raylee looks great as a brunette, makes her eyes POP :)

Jenna is the cutest. Her hair is adorable!!! I felt so bad cause someone commented on her photo and she was like "they'll probably make me have extensions, we'll see"

Great picture of Maddie - wow what a difference a year makes!  She really has grown into her looks and style.  Not a fan of Jenna's look here but that's just personal taste.

Watching episode one of season 8, and Kelli Quinn had enough consideration to get her name and hometown during her camera chat. And here we are at season 11! I think she might have been shown in season seven as well. I hope they show a big old montage this season when she makes the team. Or show group!! We might see tomorrow :)

She posted this one yesterday, so looks like extensions are back. We'll have to wait and see how she styles it when she's in DCC mode.

Agreed, short and curly looks better than long and curly. If she's going to have it long I like it straight. But it's not about what we like, it's about what Kelli likes lol

I agree short and curly looks better. I actually like it better than the long with loose waves that she's always had as a DCC, but I suppose that as a fifth year her look is so established so they might not want her to change it.

Selina posted a bunch of pics from the summer on her FB (we aren't FB friends, she just has some photos public) and I see that Loren choreographed her solo routine!! Loren wrote the sweetest comment about her too...ah, wish I could see her solo!! i wonder what her choreography is like! 

Loved seeing more of Selina; I like her but feel like i know NOTHING about her.  I didn't realize she was a teacher...so awesome!

I recall that someone wrote on this forum that Kelsey sat out of some early season performances.  Could those in the know please tell me why and how long she was out?  Watching her on this season of MTT, it seems surprising to me that she made the team.  Did they take her on and then realize she didn't have the choreography or field work down? I tried to scroll back but couldn't find the original discussion.  Thanks for the deets, if anyone can offer any.

An insider posted that Kelsey wasn't supposed to perform in the first preseason game because she was still having memory issues with the choreography, but she did indeed perform so she must have gotten it down.

Thanks for the info!  Good for her for getting it together, if she in fact did perform well.  I also remember TX Star writing that she had mistakes in every number during the meet the team event.  I'm suspecting that Kelsey might be a one and done DCC. She seems to have a lot of fans, but she would have to improve a lot, I'd think, to make it back as a vet next year.
