paigow July 24, 2016 Share July 24, 2016 With the Russian mob threatening his family, Ray goes on a road trip with Mickey to Primm in hopes of recovering money stolen from a local casino owner. Meanwhile, Terry gains confidence as a trainer and gets renewed interest in the gym; and Bunchy and Bridget take turns looking after baby Maria when Teresa withdraws to her family's house to seek refuge from the pressures of being a new mom. scrb July 25, 2016 Share July 25, 2016 Temporary reprieve with Mickey turning himself in. But looks like Ray will have to kill the Russians and the art dealer. Conor looking to do something stupid with that gun. 2 Link to comment
Christina July 25, 2016 Share July 25, 2016 I struggled to get through this episode, stopping and starting it three times. Abby, Conor, and Bridget annoyed me, Mickey's story line was predictable, there was no dog or Lena, and Theresa's story line was stressful. I was afraid that she was going to hurt that baby, and I'm so glad I was wrong. Bunchy and her cousin not getting her the obvious help she needs is illogical. Even with Bunchy being childlike, he would know not to leave a baby with someone who he insisted just needed to sleep, which is near impossible with an infant. I also expected Conor to shoot Bridget when she surprised him walking up the stairs. I'm not glad I was wrong about that. 2 Link to comment
kathybgd July 25, 2016 Share July 25, 2016 I love this show! I love the laughs Micky gives me and I am glad Teresa is gone!(I hope for good) I dont want to pick this entertaining show apart exept Abbys New England Accent makes me cringe! (Im from Ma.) Imsorry but the kids of Ray And Abs are totally useless for this show and Lisa Bonet is the luckiest woman in the world cause in real life shes married to the most beautiful man on earth! 4 Link to comment
ElectricBoogaloo July 25, 2016 Share July 25, 2016 Normally I roll my eyes through any scenes involving Bridget or Connor but I laughed my ass off when Bridget told Terry that the reason she broke up with Pedo Bear was because some other girl came up to them at the mall and said, "Nice to see you're still fucking children." I mean, seriously, Bridget, did you think you were special and the only student he ever hooked up with? Girl, please. What happened to last week's righteous indignation about how he's ONLY sixteen years older than her? In real life, I would feel sorry for a high school girl being taken advantage of like that, but in the fictional tv world, it's Bridget who is one of the most annoying characters ever. When she crawled onto Abby's bed, it totally reminded me of when Angela did the same thing in the first episode of My So-Called Life. I noticed that Bridget drover herself home in a blue car. So why did Pedo Bear drop her off in his shitty car last week? I guess we finally got confirmation that Bunchy was special/different even before he was molested. For all this faults, Bunchy usually has good intentions so it's hard to fault him for that but this week was one of those times when I felt that his lack of maturity was a huge issue. Teresa went back to Bakersfield and had clearly been staring at the tv in a stupor for hours. Then she confessed that she wanted to stab Bunchy, the baby, and herself so clearly she was not in a good place. And Bunchy's solution to this was to leave the baby alone with her. I was afraid she was going to kill herself or the baby, so I was relieved that all she did was bring the baby back to him in LA. Connor is an idiot for breaking open that gun box. I swear, this kid gets dumber every week. Normally I am not a fan of non-parental adults getting too involved but I have been totally okay with Avi telling Connor to STFU and trying to tell him not to be an idiot. Loved that Mickey kept trying to connect with Ray and Ray kept shutting him down. The only time Ray gave in to it a little was when he remembered Bunchy as a kid. I loved Ray's unending smackdowns on whatever garbage Mickey said. "Do you think I'm an idiot?" "Did you just walk to the donut shop and then come back to the van to pee in a jar?" "I was so scared when your mom told me she had cancer." "And how long before you ran off with Claudette and left us to take care of her and each other?" I don't care what Mickey says about how he loved Ray's mother or how he did the best that he could. He is a selfish prick who abandoned his dying wife and their four kids. But I did love when he pointed out that Ray has become a cheater just like his father and that he'd better hope Connor is a more forgiving son than Ray is. Hopefully that will open Ray's eyes and curb his behavior a bit. But hey, we're five episodes into this season and Ray hasn't fucked anyone else yet. I think that Abby having cancer will guilt trip him into not cheating at least for a little while. I have made it no secret that Abby annoys me, but that doesn't mean I think Ray has the right to sleep around. 2 Link to comment
tricknasty July 25, 2016 Share July 25, 2016 Those fucking kids ruin every episode they appear in. I was hoping Avi would pistol whip that little fool. Then I was hoping the fool would accidentally shoot Bridget when she came home. So Bridge breaks up with the pedophile and instantly seeks solace from the person she appears to dislike the most in her family....her mother. Then proceeds to climb into her mother's bed with nasty boots still on. I would have pistol whipped her for that alone. It's not good when a show brings out my violent side... 4 Link to comment
Dobian July 25, 2016 Share July 25, 2016 (edited) I hope Darwinism takes its course and Conor shoots himself in the next episode. Ray never learned his lesson to not do jobs with his dad. He should have gone to Primm by himself. What an idiot Mickey is, though accidentally setting the guy on fire was funny. But calling his girlfriend to tell her what they're up to? Never occurred to him she might have been compromised? He's as dumb as criminals get. Edited July 25, 2016 by Dobian 3 Link to comment

Valmarmar July 25, 2016 Share July 25, 2016 (edited) Just suggestions : More Lena, less kids, no Theresa, give Mickey half a smart pill, so his mistakes and grovelling aren't quite so annoying. I LOVE this show !!! This season has some levity, which makes for a fantasic balance with the heavy issues being addressed. The actors are delivering perfectly !!!! Like how much do they cover? And given the enormous amount involved, I am certain they would balk at settling right away, citing the piss-poor security that allowed that money to be heisted in the first place. I mean seriously, how could they have gotten that thing out the door like that? Even with the lights off, it's not like the place was pitch black. And furthermore, why was the whole four million in there? That display should have been for show, with only real bills visible as a façade, and the bulk of the money in a secured safe. 3 Link to comment

I thought maybe his business picked up so much with the publicity and the "reward" out there that maybe it was better uncollected. Otherwise I couldn't figure it out. Which wouldn't be the first time I haven't quite grasped a plot line here. 17 hours ago, Christina said: I struggled to get through this episode, stopping and starting it three times. crookedjackson44 July 26, 2016 Share July 26, 2016 We missed a super chance for Conor to off Brigit last night. We can only hope he does it next week and then feels so badly he shoots himself, too. In any case, his sudden fascination with guns bodes no good - he's going to kill someone; I just hope it isn't Avi. 6 Link to comment
Puddy July 26, 2016 Share July 26, 2016 Two things - Ray's desire to "cheat" on his wife stems from something deeper than being a horn dog. There is no way in hell that casino would have been pitch black. Emergency lighting is a requirement and it does not run off of the main system for that very reason. Link to comment
WaltersHair July 26, 2016 Share July 26, 2016 I've thought all along that Buffalo Bill was in on the heist. The way he showed up and then just left made me think he was. I can't quite figure the specifics of it, but I imagine it will come to light eventually. Until Mickey turned himself in, I really was out. Meant it when I said I couldn't take the family trusting that poor excuse for a human and then everything going wrong. Again. It's just painful to sit through as a viewer-the writers thinking I'm more of an idiot than Mickey. It's like a joke that's funny the first time it's heard and then loses all humor when repeated. Endlessly. Don't care about Abby's breast cancer. It's meant to be her redemption arc with the viewers and I just can't muster the enthusiasm. Same with the kids. And Bunchy. No words. This show makes me angry. I don't think that's supposed to happen. 1 Link to comment

Joimiaroxeu July 27, 2016 Share July 27, 2016 I guess we know who's got next for Bridget's boyfriend. Ray should've killed Mickey when he first had the chance. That idiot will be the death of all of them, even in jail/prison. Every time I wonder how Bridget and Conor can be so dumb I realize that it's in the genes, straight from Mickey. For sure Conor's gonna shoot someone in the Donovan family and now it's just a matter of who it'll be. 2 Link to comment

Puddy July 28, 2016 Share July 28, 2016 Yes. Conner The Mattress Fucker. This kid is too dumb to live. What does he think is going to happen when mommy and daddy see the busted lockbox? He never even got in trouble for drinking and puking in his dad's closet. Link to comment
ElectricBoogaloo July 28, 2016 Share July 28, 2016 I initially thought that Connor stealing that gun would end in a 90210 type situation like when Dylan almost shot Brandon. Then I thought hey, it's Connor and it's Ray Donovan so let's have Connor actually shoot someone! 1 Link to comment
WaltersHair July 28, 2016 Share July 28, 2016 Someone seriously needs to do a poll on who's going to get shot- a sort of reverse on the old Who Shot JR from years and years ago. Because it's not if, it's when and who with that kid. 1 Link to comment
Loandbehold July 28, 2016 Share July 28, 2016 Quote Someone seriously needs to do a poll on who's going to get shot Of course, one of the options has to be self-inflicted. I can see that idiot looking down the barrel to see if a bullet is actually in the chamber. 2 Link to comment
