Joe called JD Vance an elitist who drinks Chardonnay. He changed his mind and now supports Trump.

Joe complained about Senator Tuberville not knowing who fought in WW2 . He held up military appointments.

There was an interesting interview with the photographer Platon. He interviewed Putin, who likes the Beatles  & Trump who calls himself the Storm. He said Trump should not be underestimated. The panel was quiet .

Joe calling anyone else an "elitist" is the height of hypocrisy.

He sits on his ass in his mansion in FL or Maine, yelling about situations he doesn't remotely understand, claiming to be a "dumb country lawyer". Apparently he gave up his dumb country roots the day he hooked up with Ms KYV and her DC insider father and his Rolodex of associates.  Bragging about being an advisor to President Biden, (which I don't believe, I don't care which political news site claims it happens).

Catch up Joe. Tuberville is part of the Trump puppet brigade. He's using Tuberville, Johnson, Vance, etal, to voice his outrage about the trial, so he doesn't violate the gag order.

Joe went on a rant against the NYT/Sienna polls for showing Trump in the lead in swing states. He doesn't believe Trump will win Nevada by 12 points. He said Psychiatrists & therapists will make a fortune from prescribing pills to anxious Democrats.

Joe was furious at Tom Brady for allowing the Netflix Roasters to attack the 2 moms of his kids. Joe would never allow anyone to insult his wife. Joe said Brady needs better advisors to warn him against these disasters. Brady made $25million from the roast.

Mika beamed at Joe.

It's good to see Heilman on the show. He tried to calm down Joe over his rants about Biden losing swing states.

Mika mocked the Trump sycophants at his trial for all wearing red ties.

If Brady has "advisors", I'm the Queen of England.

Brady can't stand being out of the spotlight. He misses the attention and acclaim, and he's too dumb to have realized that a roast is not going to be a day at the beach, or as he called it "so fun". (What adult man talks like that?)

He thinks getting knocked on his ass for four quarters by a 290 lb defensive tackle was tough?  Try being told, in front of an audience and tv viewers, that you're an asshole and everyone hates you. And that your ex wife is boinking the karate coach. In the house you paid for.

If you read about the interview he did on a podcast, he says doing the roast made him a better parent, because now he knows not to do it again.  So do something stupid, get your wife insulted on a program that your kids will surely see, and make it about yourself being "better".

JFC Tom. You may know football, but you are dumber than dirt about everything else.

Why does Joe give two shits about Tom Brady?  Does he forget Tom is a Trump fan?

"The Poll Numbers" report is always a trigger for Joe.  That and the demonstrations on campuses. He goes completely off the rails with both subjects.  One day he will completely combust. And we are all here for it.

Very True !. Joe will not accept any bad news about the Biden campaign since he became an advisor to Biden according to Axios.

Joe should send his band to play on the campuses where people are protesting. They will quickly vacate the premises.

Somebody had to say something about the NYT's monthly outlier polls.

What irks me is that I had to endure 10-15 minutes of boring, self-indulgent sports banter before they got to anything resembling news.  I'll probably start tuning in 5-10 minutes after the hour from now on.

I tuned in to see Meeka wrapping a very long strip of colorful cloth around her neck. Then she put it around her head.  And then.....she cleaned out her purse!  How many women have a coral purse that goes with the matching scarf? (envious)

I don't mind the sports talk all that much; it is a break from polls, trials and the rest of the 24/7 political discussions.  So imagine my thrill when Pablo entered the picture.  Meeka was so giddy over the purse/scarf "thing" that she almost bubbled over.  She "loves" Billy Joel and "loves" somethng else...The Preakness? Anyone remember? And she said that Pablo Knows His Value.   I think. I was in such shock over the purse visuals that I was hearing but not listening.

Tom Nichols (from The Atlantic) talking about his late cat was such an unexpected break from ... well...most everything on this show. Loved it and him. Meeka is still chirpy.

Joe complained about the high cost of cars. He & Mika traded in their cars for a 10-year Kia minivan with 100,000 miles. Joe is happy that grocery prices are falling. Rattner said he drives a Bently.

Joe complained about the NY Times polls that showed Trump 13 points ahead in Nevada.

Joe said he talks to the Biden campaign. They act like they have 4 aces.

They aren't worried about Trump.

The Biden campaign knows how to block & tackle.

Lemire echoed Joe's sentiments.

Heileman has a new job at Puck.

Lemire got agitated and said the debate in June will force Americans to see Trump on the debate stage. Voters will reject Trump.

Joe''s favourite word today is "Blocking & Tackling"

Bush did it in 2004 against Kerry.

If Joe is SOOO smart, why doesn't he realize polls are not a true indication of how voters feel, and these articles are click bait for both sides. The MAGA crowd gets to own the libs and the Democrats have a heart attack wondering "who the fuck ARE these people who would still vote for Trump???"

And if the media doesn't make the election seem like a really tight race, nobody will pay attention to what the pundits say and watch something else. Like anything else.

Joe really is a toddler. He gets mad about one thing and then that anger is directed at the entire world.  Maybe Mika could find her keys in the bottom of her purse and dangle them in front of Joe to distract him.

Or tell him Biden is calling and hand him an imaginary phone and then say "oh, I think he had to hang up, he'll call back before your nap".

2 minutes ago, oakville said:

Mika & Joe got upset at Steve when he said he couldn't talk about inflation as in-depth as he would on CNBC.

He means without Joe interrupting him and screaming about how the general public doesn't understand economics.

Mika's facial expressions and interjections seemed from the beginning like her head was swirling with grievances, moreso than usual. And this thinking led her to being annoying as H throughout. She was a real downer on any interesting conversation.

It's odd ... the segments I saw (only the purse cleaning, Pablo and talking about her cat) she seemed manic....giddy. I only watched for Pablo and Purse; so the rest of the time she was even more entitled than usual?  Well, let's not forget that she does come from a famous family and she heads up the biggest women's empowerment movement in the country. In the world. She has Suzie Orman!

I turned it off when they said Pablo was coming up.

It has irked me for 50 years and still irks me to this day that Billy Joel's music is considered rock n' roll.   It's pop.  Period.

I think Joel plays a variety of music, I wouldn't call any of it rock and roll. Pop, ballads, altho New York state of Mind is considered rock, which seems odd. One of my favorite songs of his is Goodnight Saigon, probably the only political song he's ever written and performed. It's considered pop, but I would say it's a very sad ballad.

Joe's music is classic garage band crap. Stay in your lane, Joe.  Loudmouth d bag on cable news.  You've nailed that.

SeanB....yes, Goodnight Saigon was an anthem of deeply-felt protest, helplessness; and a hard slap to the nation. It does not get the acknowledgement and appreciation that it so richly deserves.

Sorry, I look forward to Pablo and his take on sports and sometimes politics.  He doesn't talk Red Socks continuously when he is on.  The homer-ness of MJ between the New York teams and Boston wore out its welcome years ago.

Enjoyed Scarborough's spirited take-down of the Supreme Court this morning.   He's the only commentator I've seen who has addressed the problem from the perspective of everyday people versus the pseudo-academic posture assumed by other analysts.

SCOTUS may have been brilliant legal minds in the past, but the last few years we have assholes who are either so corrupt they couldn't get a job that ran a background check anywhere else, and a couple idiots who love beer and being subservient to men, respectively.

And the stuff about Alito and his flag? And saying it was his wife?

What is it with these assholes blaming their wives for their corruption? I mean sure, the ladies are in on the grift, but be a man and take credit for your disgusting behavior.

At least Joe doesn't blame Mika when he acts like an idiot.

I'm sick of the polls. Stop with the polls.

I'm sick of the Bibi Netanyahu apollogists. Stop having them on. He's aligned himself with MAGA. And it's actually been going on since he disrespected President Obama more than once.

Joe is upset at Nikki Haley endorsing Trump. They played clips of Nikki criticizing Trump. Joe said true Conservatives won't vote for an authoritarian President. Willie said it's better if Haley supporters don't vote for Trump. They could leave the ballot blank. Willie complained about Trump insulting Haley's husband. Cruz & Rubio also endorsed Trump despite him insulting their wives.

Rev Al Sharpton has a new snazzy striped suit.

Nikki will not be invited to the KYV summit.

Yes. Heilman was trying to lighten the mood after Joe's rant. Joe takes his rants seriously. No one jokes with Joe after his rants which frequently go viral on social media.

Joe also went on a tirade against Progressive Democrats in Oregon who supported legalizing hard drugs and defunding the police. He calls them woke left-wing latte liberals.

Joe went on a rant against college students on campus who are protesting against Israel. He demanded that they watch the videos of the female Israeli hostages.

Joe said Israel hasn't killed as many civilians relative to Hamas militants as the USA did in Mosul. Joe said the civilian death toll estimate in Gaza is too high.

Donny Deutsch said he saw the video of the October 7 Hamas attack. It was horrifc.

Joe said Hamas hides around civilians.

I usually enjoy Joe's rants....he doesn't sugarcoat the topic. And he is passionate about it. But lately - for me - it has been too much.  Especially on the same topics.  It can be exhausting and stressful. (when my now 50-something daughter was in the awful teen stage - and I was telling her she was making me crazy - she said "Mom, it isn't always about you"- and I had to resist the urge to slap).  That is how I feel lately about Joe's rants.

And yes, what is happening with Meeka's "look" .. on one tv she looks all arched eyebrows and heavy no-color foundation.  On my other tv the eyebrows still stand out; but the makeup looks pretty orange.

Calm down, Jack...Joe...Jill what's that guy's name again? You know the one with the crazy hair and the blonde lady.  The guy needs a good bowl of ice cream and a nap.

Once again, Cattie Kay, on the show this morning, went with her go to argument on any odd thing about America -- that there is no such problem in Britain or W Europe.  However, I feel like Britain is not immune from much of the insanity we have. And beyond that any country that still has a monarchy has no business acting superior to us in the sanity department. If Joe had been there maybe he would have pushed back but I doubt it. He usually seems to be accepting and hyper-polite to her.
