After watching those kids being interviewed yesterday, I do have hope for real change.  Wow, those kids just blew me away and gave a clear voice to just how insane and inept the current government(s) are.  I think we will be seeing more and more upsets going forward and corporate money will start to lose it's grip.

On the other end of the scale, there are the "aging white voters" (as John Heilman referred to them). I assume he means the "aging white voters" who voted for Trump. Not all of us did!

I switched from MJ to New Day but it was even worse over there -- Alisyn Camerota interviewing that screeching mother.    I would like to think that if my child were killed in a mass shooting and then a TV reporter showed up within a few hours to ask me how I felt, I would kill the reporter and gamble that no jury would convict me.

I agree millennium, I wish they would stop interviewing her and running that clip.  That had enough saturation yesterday and now CNN is into full on exploitation.  She must be out of her mind with grief, let her breathe and let her be.  I'm done with cable news for the weekend and have moved on to Columbo.

Prior to 2012, Joe would be more open about the difficulties of being in Congress.Voting for gun control in his district would likely lead to him being primaried by the NRA backed candidate.

Joe is being fact checked on twitter about Scalias opinion on Assault Weapons. Apparently there is no Supreme Court Ruling on banning Assault Weapons.

I am reading it correctly Scalia's argument was for what constituted a well armed militia and since there is no way the Founding Fathers could ever perceive what we have now "dangerous and unusual" weapons were not part of the deal.  Again, if I am reading his ruling properly.  But then again Joe is an old country lawyer so he is probably right.

Montel Williams was a really great guest. It was weird at the end, though, when Barnicle threw out that random idea about raising a few cool million $5 donations at a time and challenging every NRA backed politician... Williams agreed right away and Barnicle just sat there frozen.

Mika rolled her eyes at Joe at one point when she tried to kick it to Donnie.  Joe interrupted for like 45 seconds.  He tried to be polite, but... he's Joe Scarborough.  What's weird is that in these rants he never covers new ground.
Also, has Joe not been in studio for weeks.
Montel had great energy while still articulate and seemingly heartfelt.

If you want to change the status quo, then VOTE. 

Find out your rep's NRA grade, if they took money, and if they're going to change.   If we don't let Congress know, it's us or the NRA, it'll always be the NRA.

Someone on twitter posted photos of Joe’s voting record on guns from a book called the American Political almanac. Joe voted to repeal the Assault Weapons Ban & was against background checks at gun shows. 

The NRA backed Joe’s opponent in the GOP Primary in 1994 Joe won anyway & became a reliable pro gun vote in Congress. Joe was mad that the NRA didn’t endorse him.

I think it’s hilarious that Jay Cost who works forJoe’s BFF’s Bill Smirky Kristol outed Joe’s hypocrisy over his past voting history. The fact that Joe Has changed his views is not the problem.

 The issue is that Joe is attacking GOP elected officials for not standing up to the NRA, when he himself was afraid of them.

Joe doesn’t need the NRA now so it’s ok for him to bash them. 

I doubt that broadcaster Joe would allow Congressman Joe on his show now. He would be kicked off quickly.

Joe Also tweeted that he had no power in Congress since he was 1 out of 435.

This contradicts one of Joe’s 10 commandments about how powerful he used to be when he was in Congress.

I hope I am too Jordan Baker.  I hope that people will vote with their hearts and stop this nonsense that we have been perpetuating based on party or tribalism.  The party is over, let's get it done for the true middle class.

Joe forgot that he didn't change his opinions on assault weapons after Columbine shooting in 1999.

The issue  with Joe is that he pretends that it's easy for GOP members of Congress to denounce the NRA when he was cozying up to them while he was in Congress.

Mika used to dress very nicely pre engagement. Joe dressed like a frat boy slob with cereal stains on his fleece sweatshirts.

Joe now dresses in suits & Mika has downgraded to the "Librarians in Bathrobes"  collection from Target.

Joe ought to simply be up front with his stance on guns when he was in office.  He ought to describe the pressure he felt, if any, to toe the NRA line.  He ought to explain his prior beliefs.  It's valid that he thought one way once, and changed his mind later.  His perspective could be instructive in how he changed over time.

Kasie is a far better political analyst than emotional Mika or Blowhard Joe. Kasie acknowledged that people may vote on other issues such as the economy or healthcare but the only way to get more gun control is to vote for people that support it.

Barnicle came up with the idea of asking people to donate 10$ to fund a super pac that would primary GOP candidates that take money from the NRA.

Would Barnicle also support primaring candidates from the Democratic party that accepted funding from the NRA?

Would Barnicle put any of his own money into launching this campaign. ?

I enjoyed the interview with Montel Williams. He seems to know more about guns that Joe.

Why didn't Joe mention that Mika's daughter was having trouble sleeping and called her mom over the latest high school shooting . Mika mentioned her daughterr in the earlier segment.

He really has been active a lot on Twitter lately, starting with that Tweet going through his gun record and NRA positioning from his time in Congress. Plus it sounds like he answered a mention on Mika's account too (it reads more like him than her at least).

The show is pre empted by Meet The Press this morning. Mika & Joe are in a small Washington Studio. Mika is wearing  a black turtleneck with a black scarf . The Bond Villiness is back. Optimistic Joe is back. The institutions have held. The FBI did a great job with the Russia indictments. I thought that was Muller ?

Joe blasted Democrats & the media for villifying the heroic Ken Starr during the Clinton probe. The GOP & media are respectful of Muller.

Joe said the Founders predicted a tyrant like Trump so they have checks & balances.

Joe has charts!. Everyone agrees that Russia meddled in the election except Trump & Putin. Natasha was excited that Muller said a crime occurred, so there could be more indictments.  The Russian interference began in 2014. She still has hope that it will be proven that Trump colluded with the Russians by waiting till 2015 to launch his campaign. The mid term campaign is under threat. The show started the 7 am hour with a clip of a 60 minutes interviewer trying to get Tillerson to admit that he called Trump a moron. He wouldn't answer.

Evelyn Farkas is on the show! Trump is not acting normal with the Professional Bureaucracy. The US is not leading. Why wouldn't anyone not want to go to Munich?

Israel might go to war with Iran. Where is US leadership? Will Joe write a song about Iran & Israel?

Joe trashed Lazarov for being flat in Munich. He usually is tough at these meetings.

Moscow is doomed! Russia has buyers remorse. Trump isn't a Russian patsy. Trump hasn't implemented sanctions against Russia.

Trump isn't criticizing Putin, so the Russians are happy.

The Chinese are ignoring Trump's tweets against China.

Happy Presidents day!. It's Family Day in Ontario. I liked Meacham's quote about Reagan. You have to be an actor to be President. FDR was effective as an actor.

It's pick a President day. Joe said it was Lincoln. Meacham said it was Washington. Farkas mentioned George H.W. Bush. Joe's parents worshipped Harry Truman. Truman saved Europe from Communism.

Mika agreed with Joe that Lincoln was a god President. A few years ago, they asked everyone about their favourite founder of the USA. Mika said it was Lincoln. The panel laughed at her.

Jr. may be in trouble for collusion but Big Daddy is going down on financials.  Everyone has known he is a financial sinkhole for decades.  Mueller will tie all of those ends together.

Homeland Secretary Johnson came on. They issued a memo on October 7 2016 about Russian interference. Obama didn't want to make it a big deal about Russians because Hillary was supposed to win the election so they didn't want Trump to say the election was rigged.

Joe said Trump should have his phone taken away from him when he goes on tweetstorms.

Will Mika do that to Joe when he tweets against his critics?

Mika's left hand was firmly gripped to her Morning Joe mug throughout the 8 am segment. What's in the mug?

THESE indictments don't prove it. This is just one step in the process.  These indictments show that Russians were actively involved in doing everything possible to stop Clinton by supporting Trump Sanders & Stein.  One email they hacked even said "you need to be much more negative about Clinton". 

The next phase is announcing Gates flipping and testifying against Manafort, which could get Manafort to flip on "someone else", ie last name or married to a Trump.

There was a segment about Mini -Joe Soupcoff visiting Nunes district. there is an exciting challenger to Nunes. He has raised money!. They did man on the street interviews. One lady called MSNBC Fake News. They weren't paying attention to the Russia story. The Democratic opponent called out MSNBC for being focused on Russia. He wanted to talk about local issues but acknowledged that he raised $500K since Nunes dropped his memo. He takes money from Democrats all over the USA.

The district usually votes GOP for over 65%.

More clips of Tillerson as a potential country singer. Pace said Millenials are rising up against Trump. He is doomed!

What happened to Ignatius's hair? It's two tone. Did he raid Mika's dressing room.
