I wasn't thinking the lair was underneath PT, but that would make sense with the scene in the trailer.

 

That would mean that Dig's Team was operating at PT. Unless there two completely different lairs.

 

Would make sense that it is PT, since that is where the team finished off in s3 & was using as an active lair. I can see RP letting them continue to do that and somehow setting up a random secret entrance. I feel like they will use this temp lair until the new one opens up.

I can't tell either, but I'm amazed anyone even spotted that and thought to super zoom in.

Not gonna lie, I was gonna scour the internet for some of these new photos when I had some down time to see if there were any shots of an engagement ring. I see them getting engaged early on in the season – especially now that OQ is running for Mayor so soon.  So I appreciate the intensity of the fandom & attention to detail. It saves me having to zoom at pictures.

 

PB posted several BTS pics on Facebook; that's one of them.

 

I hope it is a ring. Let's go all in. This show refuses to slow down story lines so why not accelerate this one as well. I'm good with it.

Oh, I've been all in since the end of last season. An engagement just makes sense for this couple. There is no other way or need to slow it down. I'm bummed we missed out on good moments, but that shouldn't delay the process. Even if they were dating, they are only gonna show us a minimal amount. It's not like they are gonna date other people, they already live together and they both have made it pretty clear that the other makes them the happiest. Plus having them engaged minimize the romantic overtones on the show. It keeps it part of the story, but not the major plot which is better for the show as a whole. I love romance, but this is a show that does not need to be bogged down by romance.

 I'm distracted by how short that dress is. It's floor length originally. Did they make it into a mini or did she just bunch it up while sitting down!

I think its the slit ;) So not a mini, but still showing a lot of leg.

I tend to think that trying to make KC a place on the show had a ripple effect that did hurt the show pretty badly.  She's what turned Quentin stupid and into a creepy stalker.  So that wipes off the

I used to hate the Spoiler Only thread; it was such a PITA going back and fourth but I've grown to love it.  It's much easier when you want to go back and find a link or check the dates on the production schedule, etc

Ditto on the spoilers only thread... makes it easier to look back for accuracy & sourcing of spoilers.

On funny note - tried to open that link to the thea photo at work and it was banned because "pornography content is blocked". So maybe my work filter knows something we don't know :) Though ive never had problems with tumblr before. Will have to check link when at home.

LOL. Mostly it's stuff we've seen before. I only actually spotted Thea and two figures running away from an explosion as new content. No porn, though.

I hope Thea's cray cray darkness is something she actually has to deal with and not just for a single episode. I don't really want her storyline to just be about getting a love interest either. Hmmmm.

Mayoral inauguration sounds weird to me because the Oliver for Mayor posters looked like they said "2016".

If that pic really is of Felicity holding the engagement ring, it doesn't necessarily mean that Oliver proposed.  When their dinner was interrupted by Thea & Laurel, and he found out about DD, Oliver could've decided to postpone the proposal and stored the ring away.  Then Felicity finds the ring and realizes what Oliver had planned a few weeks back.

I'm a big fan of the engagement coming at the end of the season, but I love the idea of Felicity being aware of the interrupted propsal. Like she finds the ring that night, but understands why Oliver put it on hold and she just quietly waits for him to be ready. Or she is the one who asks him.

 

I want the wedding in the 100th episode / crossover.

That pic shows Felicity wearing the dress from recent shooting (4x07, I believe), so several weeks would've passed from their interrupted dinner.  If Oliver had managed to propose and given the ring to Felicity in 4x01, and if she had accepted, then she would've been wearing the ring in every episode since 4x01 (and eagle-eyed fans would've spotted it in previous pics).  So if it is a ring, then yeah, she somehow found it that night or recently - or alternatively, he did propose and she put off answering.

I'd be worried that if they move things too quickly. that it won't last if they do an Olicity engagement this season. TV shows seem to have some unwritten rule that you can't keep ships together forever, whether it's kidnappings, death or they break them up. Unless it's the final season, which it's not for Arrow.

My first thought was that Thea had borrowed Laurels Canary Cry necklace.

I don't get why EBR would be hanging out behind the scenes holding onto a ring while KC is standing over her and applying makeup, so I'm leaning towards no, that is not an engagement ring. But, I'm one of the few who is still really annoyed by how badly they screwed with the Olicity relationship last season, so I feel it's WAY too soon for an engagement, and this may be affecting what I'm seeing here.

I know I have a ring I play with so much that at least a few times a year I take it off in my sleep. It's a habit. Maybe EBR plays with rings too. I don't recall her wearing them normally. So it would feel odd. Edited by BkWurm1

I don't like being reminded of the FB love interest. Something I'm not looking forward too this season.

 

4x07 sounds like it may be a strong Diggle episode per Stunt Dude's tweet.

I'm wondering what happens to Sara after her resurrection. I know they've said that Laurel and Sara will have a better relationship, but I haven't seen CL in any of the BTS pics of the rest of the Arrow cast and she's filming Legends. Does she run away or get picked up by Rip Hunter or something?  CL doesn't appear to be in the eps after 4x05 and maybe 4x06.

Well, Laurel isn't going to be in 406 much if I understand correctly, since that was when KC was at NYFW. So maybe she and Sara leave for a while after 405 to help get Sara's head on straight? I'm just guessing here. If that's the case though, I don't really have an explanation of why Laurel would be back in 407 without Sara.

That moment with the LOT cast and Oliver/Barry on the bridge. Is that a scene that we should expect to see or something just used for promo purposes?

 

The article on Sara and Laurel confused me more. It sounds like we can expect to see Thea lose it so I'm thinking Sara has to be marbles given how totally dead she was. I kind of thought they would deal with some of that on Arrow.  Bonding moments for the Lances and so forth. But it doesn't sound like Sara is going to be in much of Arrow past her resurrection and before the Crossover/LOT launch.


Heads up, LA based press is seeing the premiere at a screening this afternoon. The time to go spoiler-free is now if you're so inclined. :)

i thought it was a roof?

 

I thought they would re-use some stuff from the promo/trailer but they seem to have reshot Sara's resurrection so who knows?

I don't expect the roof scene to be there. In fact I'll be a little disappointed if they don't redo the who assembling the team thing. The roof scene was just waayyyy too cheesy and exposition-y for me. It's fine for trying to explain what the show's about, but I hope it never shows up in the actual show itself.

Over selling Laurel scenes is par for the course with these EP's. I'm now expecting one bonding scene with Laurel and Sara where nothing much is really said or one is propping up the other. Meaning Sara will be giving her blessing to Laurel for stealing her name and Laurel will tell Sara she can go be a different hero with a different name and outfit color because she's using hers. Then Sara skips town probably because she doesn't want to hurt anyone with her crazy.

Maybe I'm missing the obvious here but I don't understand this filming schedule. Flash is filming their crossover episode while Arrow films 10? Then they double back and film their crossover portion?

I wonder why they aren't filming the episodes together like last time.

I hope this doesn't mean that the 10th episode is going to be numbered 4x08, while the 8th (crossover) episode is going to be numbered 4x09 or 4x10.  This filming out of order makes matching episodes to episode numbers so confusing.

 

I believe the LoT promo with Oliver & Barry on the rooftop was filmed during a special 2-day shoot just for the promo, before they even started writing scripts for LoT.

I find them skipping to 10 the most interesting part. Why not start 8 or 9?

They have a lot of guest actors this year is someone important unavailable so 10 is their only option? Was JB flying out to film the crossover or ep. 10? Does this confirm Donna/Malcolm scenes? Lol

I think this is the most likely explanation. They need certain actors for 408 and 409 that aren't available right now, so you film the next episode where all talent is ready to go.

 

Edit: what I'm REALLY impressed at is the writers room having 410 ready to go this early.

I'm guess OMG he flew out to film 10, if that's what they're filming. He didn't specify on Facebook.

There is speculation Malcolm is the floater so even though he tagged his post with Arrow, I wondered if he would also appear in the Flash crossover.

Of course it's also entirely possible that the tweets are wrong or misunderstood something. Maybe they're only filming a few scenes for 310 not skipping episodes around? I know shows preshoot scenes if actors are unavailable (Gina bell's pregnancy leave, Daniel Gilles filming Saving Hope and Originals)

That was my very first thought -- that they might need Caity Lotz and/or Brandon Routh for 409, and they're unavailable right now.

So about SA's 2 truths/ 1 lie? I don't know. The Huntress isn't rumored for the premiere but her dad was mob and there seems to be crime organizations at least in the flashbacks. So maybe a cameo. I can see Oliver breaking the VOW especially if it's Fecility, Thea and/or DD related. And Russia has to eventually happen.

I don't know, I actually think it would be something they'd do.  I always thought that GA would be the middle between The Hood and The Arrow.  The Hood killed everyone  (OK, not really) and The Arrow was MUST NOT KILL ANYONE (exaggeration).  So, I figured a healthier Oliver would come to understand what Diggle already knows, that killing should always be the last possible recourse but in war killing is sometimes necessary.

I'm wondering if he didn't just spoil that the Flashbacks ARE taking place in Russia. Because it's okay when he spoils things.

I like SA, but I feel that is him in a nutshell.

Breaking the no kill rule seems most likely.  They have set up a villain in Coast City for the flashbacks to I don't think they will be in Russia unless it's at the end of the season.

 

That ice sculpture makes me think that the big dressy thing is a benefit for the Star City PD.
