Fukui San: My reaction was not directed at you.  Just at the situation.  Although I couldn't care less about it (due to not caring about the Jets), it is vexatious that, of all of the things up & coming football/professional athletes learn from those that came before them...THIS is what they acquire!

I understand! Of all the dumb mistakes a sportster can do this one is the most inexplicable.  And it’s happened so often! Go choreograph yourself a signature dance instead!

The boo birds were out at MetLife Stadium before the first quarter ended. Ouch.

Before the Jets' first offensive drive ended!   Those poor fans - promised a savior and getting this.  But hey, I'm sure Rodgers is loading up on the cayenne pepper water in the locker room, so all will be fine in the second half.

We'll see.  To be honest, I think the NFL has a sense of humor.  Putting the Jets on television on Halloween Night (just in the New York area and maybe somewhere in the Lone Star state).  That I can respect.

I think that receiver that blew it also respects Aaron Rodgers.  Pretty certain that he & others advised him on a different TD celebration.  That's right: an Aaron Judge celebration doesn't count in the National Football League

AARON!

Houston should be fine.  Especially if the Jets knock of Indianapolis which should help secure the AFC South.  The latter sentence might actually benefit Pittsburgh on a grander scale if it falls to that.

The Jets schedule should be easy enough to win games, but that part started on Tuesday.  Houston has looked sort of blah.  Short week, road game, injuries.  Still no excuse.  Looks like 0/23 for Conference Title Game appearances.

The problem for Houston us that their O-Line is terrible this year, even moreso than last year.  And all their receivers are getting hurt.

The Falcons really suck, very unlikeable, & are an absolute vile wretched sad excuse of an NFL Franchise (even more true after 28-3). It downright sucks that we have to depend on these losers to hopefully defeating the Cowboys today. Hopefully, these idiots will actually remember to fall on the ball on the onside kick today unlike last time. I'm sure that the Falcons will find a way to bring us even more failure today.

That is a fact.  I'm not going to call this season a so-called sophomore slump.  I think both Ryans & Stroud are doing the best they can.  They aren't bad this year.  It's just that they went from zero to hero, in their first year.  So we figured they'd be great this year.  Especially with Jacksonville sucking more than Atlanta.

Still, I wouldn't be surprised if it came down to Houston and Indy, but the latter will have to double their efforts.  In an unsuccessful attempt at that, they might be able to obtain a WC spot.

The Falcons have a better chance than you think, Magog.  Overall, at least the Cowboys have accomplished something over the past half century + half decade.  However, it's about this season.  It's more probable than not that the Falcons win their division, and at the same time, it's more probable than not that Dallas isn't part of the annual NFL postseason, leading to a coaching change.

Which would be the only thing changing, by the way.

I think I'm definitely skipping the action this week.  For one, my team has the week off.  Of course, given the fact that teams can play on other days that aren't Sunday, it feels that way throughout the season.  Time permitting & feel, I should tune into a decent Detroit/Green Bay game.  And my remote does have a working mute button too!

Minnesota/Indianapolis should be fine at night, with the latter.  Unless I feel like watching Denver get spanked by Baltimore at the very least, there's no point in watching the early games.  I think I'll definitely be all in for sure starting next week, with NFL Red Zone!

Looking at what's happening with Anthony Richardson, I wonder if his story combined with NIL will keep QBs from declaring too early for the draft in future. The Colts knew they were taking on a very raw QB who had not played many games and would be a project, but when other people's jobs and income depend on winning, it's difficult for them to have the necessary patience.

But top college athletes can now make good or even great money from NIL, so there will be less pressure for them to declare really early. Was it Belichick or Parcells who said that a college QB should have at least 30 games before going pro?

The Falcons somehow didn't mess it up like I thought they would. They actually did something right for a change by beating the Cowboys 27-21. For that, I will leave the Falcons & Kirk Cousins alone this week.

Speaking of the Cowboys, HA HA HA HA!!!!!! I can never get sick of these losers falling flat on their faces week after week. Here is another dose of the Walk Of Shame after losing to the Falcons. They're magically delicious!

Watch Dallas Cowboys players reactions after another loss to the Falcons

Watching this is like seeing a double rainbow. Its absolutely beautiful.

Dennis Allen has been fired by the Saints after that loss teo the Panthers yesterday.  No surprise when you're team starts off hot, loses to the worst team in the NFL and is now behind that team in the division.  It was just a matter of time between him and Pederson.  (While the Raiders have fired their entire Offensive staff, I don't see them getting rid of Antonio Pierce.  After all they stuck him with two middling QBs - at bes, and the players like him.)

Apparently the players were blaming Allen for all kinds of mistakes and even tweeting about it.

Dallas players are also disgruntled in their pocasts, but Jerry won't do anything about it until after the season.  Even then, I wouldn't be surprised if he continued to stick with McCarthy, since he stuck wit Garrett for some really mediocre years.

The Raiders can't even tank properly. If they somehow squeeze out another win with the new OC, I'm going to be really mad. I'm not a big fan of tanking, but the Raiders are certainly not Super Bowl-bound this year. If they had run up fewer pointless wins last year, they could've gotten a franchise QB.

The Saints play the Raiders this season, so Derek Carr could also become the first NFL QB to lose to all 32 teams. I do feel bad in that he's not a guy who's done anything to deserve that kind of ignominy. He's never been in trouble off the field, he doesn't act like a jackass on or off the field, and while he's not a great QB he's also not horrific either. But as far as that last point goes, I guess that's a large part of it - the horrific QBs wash out before they can play all these teams.

I admit I have a small liking for the Cowboys because some of my favorite Vikings are on the team now-Dalvin Cook and Eric Kendricks. Stefan Diggs' brother plays for Dallas, too. Too bad they have such a loser owner. I'm also glad Panthers won a game because Adam Thielen is on the team.

Now I want Tampa to to beat the Chiefs tonight. They can't stay undefeated. Hey Taylor Swift and her mom are watching in the stadium tonight!!! So glad I'm watching now!!

Good sack on Mahomes, Vea!

In a surprise to flat out nobody, the Chiefs found a way to beat the Bucs in Overtime 30-24

At least it wasn't a complete blowout.  The Bucs usually tank on MNF.  This is their M.O. though, and that is to be leading most of the game, and then piss it away in the 4th quarter.  I hate it that Godwin and Evans are out, but the team HAS to find a way to win.  Ugh.

Sing this to Brittney Spears 'Oops I did it again."

Oops, we did it again
We played with your heart
And we effed up the game.
Ooh, baby, baby
Oops, you had such high hopes
That we'd stay off the ropes.
We're not that capable.

Dallas traded for WR Jonathan Mingo from the Panthers.  Who barely has 100 yards this season, who has never performed up to par.  And they gave up a 4th for him, when hes not worth a 6th.  This guy ain't gonna fix the defense, lines, or running game.  What are you doing Jerry?

Poor Mingo goes from one bad owner organization to another.  Next stop:  Cleveland or Vegas.

I would not have been opposed to Garrett getting moved as well.  Though he's not exactly complimentary, I don't know if he'll be playing at decades end & to what extent

They're not going to get rid of Garrett.  He's the cornerstone of the franchise.  Even Schefty scoffs at that one.

Sort of like Watt with Pittsburgh.  On an epic return outlook, I get it.  However that would've turned the team into the Carolina Panthers.  Unless someone else had what it took to take that roll, I can't blame a franchise.

That goes for Garrett.  What I don't want to see is Cleveland parting ways later on in his career with the attempt to get something decent in return.  Myles would deserve to finish his career where it started (remaining with Cleveland).  The only exception is rewarding him with the right to finish with a contender (getting to choose where he wanted to play).

Am I going to have to watch freaking KC win every single game? God forbid they not air even one of their games on network TV.  Unbearable.

It's not just that; it's the fact that it takes the whole game to cash.  At least with New England 17 years ago the games were over by halftime on average

A year ago I said it wasn't fun watching them win all the time. It's even less fun now.  They have become the team I am never going to root for unless they are playing someone in my team's division.  And even then I might reconsider.

So we can look at this two different ways.  Either they are beatable and it just hasn't happened yet. Or someone in charge (NFL? TV networks?) wants to keep it close and things happen to ensure that.

The thing is the teams that face Kansas City don't do enough to separate from the close margin to where anything can happen.  I hear you; if the opportunity is there for the champs to win, it's going to happen.  In other words, a close call that can go one way or the other is going in their favor.

To be honest, one of the things I wouldn't do is kick a PAT to achieve a tie

I think I started that NFL is scripted stuff.  Therefore y'all can blame me.  As for horrible calls or no calls?  100% happens to every team.  Sure teams like Kansas City don't get them or benefit from others getting them at critical times that make the difference between winning & losing.

I believe it helps if & when people watch the game(s).  Pay attention & focus.  Don't just stare at the television.  There is a ton more than officiating within the 285 meaningful games every season.  For example, Cincinnati did not emulate Tampa Bay, which I enjoyed.  The outcome wasn't positive, but the respect (for me) was.  Nobody, especially the refs did not make anyone kick a PAT.  Maybe the significant details & correct actions taken will make the calls a moot point

FYI: Tomorrow is the final game within the league's International Series.  One of the teams, probably the one that's been in the professional league longer than the other, could, or should blow out their opponent.  At the very least, win pretty decisively.

No joke: The NFL would be better off re-airing the Sunday morning games that took place in Week 7, or even Week 5.  After all, it's all about the ratings & money
