But she's too old to be her daughter, and if she was her little sister (who we never heard of, or did we, long ago?), let's see, she'd be blood to Eric; Thorne, Felicia, Kristin; Rick, Bridget; Dino & Jack; and only (whatever you cal the relatives of your relatives' relatives) family to Katie, so yeah she could be Ivy's little sister and date Will.

Her niece, actually. Ivy's never been in the same room as her much older sister Jessica, who was a character whose run was back in the mid 90s and (at least at the place I'm at in my watch of early B&B in season 8) the biggest Mary Sue ever. And I hate using that term because Star Wars fandom have ruined that for everyone.

She's also not the type who I'd ever think would name her kid Electra. Maybe her father had a hand in that.

"hidden" is doing some heavy lifting in that sentence because homegirl never shuts up about her hatred of Brooke and Hope and all things Logan EVER. Hope has (for now) moved on from Finn, the thing Steffy told her to do on the threat of killing her line, and she's STILL pissed.

I had some modicum of sympathy for her in 2010 when it was very obvious Katie was pushing Hope up in her pissing contest with Steffy (that Katie should've taken out on her grown ass husband instead of using her niece as a pawn and setting her up for the lifetime of misery that's followed as a direct consequence of that action) and she was a peon in her own family's company. But she's not that anymore and hasn't been for a long time now. 

The only thing worse than a sore loser is a sore winner.

Speaking of which, anyone wanna take bets on how long it'll take for all the guys on the show to start praising her as the bestest intern they ever had at the company and how wonderful her virtues are? Because they ALWAYS do this for new girls on this show.

I do have a vague recollection of a mention (eons ago) that Eric's brother having kids, plural. In my mind I've thought for a long time that He had Jessica with his first wife and three other kids with his second.

Fires Hope? Fires Carter? Friday's spoiler says Ridge backs her up so I'm guessing she gets rid of HFTF/Hope and the ripples are Carter quits and either follows Hope and creates a new line or this could be setting it up for him to leave for that new show. Brooke maybe quits too and Bridge breaks up part 972? Then we get Tridge Part 423?

Also some "comedic" hijinks when Sheila does something wacky at the restaurant.

Heaven forbid we get time to get fully invested in a couple by slowly building them up. What's wrong with cute sweet scenes of a couple flirting, catching each other's eye, getting to know each other, etc?

I'd do one better by bringing in entirely new characters with zero direct tires to any of the three core families that will do what Sally and Nick and Conner Davis would do to drag the Forresters for the entitled, privileged ass hammers the show always meant for them to be. Even for people who hate the Logans, I really cannot see how the Forresters are any paragons of virtue either aside from maybe Bridget who is so unlike either of her family that if not for seeing her birth in an isolated cabin I would think she was switched at birth.

We are just full speed ahead with Will & Electra, aren't we? No need to let us get to know either one of them or see them have some interactions getting to know each other. And from what little we do know about both of them, full speed ahead feels wrong.  Will was just horn dogging over every single pretty woman he encountered minutes before he met Electra. And Electra is seemingly haunted by a stalker and freaked out about anyone in L.A. finding out about it all. None of that spells two people who are going to instantly fall in love. We should be seeing him changing from the wannabe player, and her being reluctant to get close to anyone, but slowly being won over by Will. Instead, it's like they forgot the stalker story was starting so soon, and now they're taking shortcuts to get the setup in place.

And Finn Steffy's Husband is going to keep carrying Steffy's water, even though he should know that Hope had no way of knowing he was going to be at FC at all, let alone walking into that room right then.

This has been the case for so many stories for at least the last six years, going back even to the Beth kidnapping, where Thomas was the only character involved who had been on the canvas six months before the story began. There's also her mommy, who is somehow also considered a "real Forrester" by Steffy's definition. I'd hazard a guess that Steffy considers Taylor more of a "real Forrester" than she does Zende, Ivy, or Electra. Hell, or even Kristen, Felicia, Rick, or Bridget, probably.

At this point, I'm legitimately curious as to whether we're even supposed to remember that Ridge isn't a blood Forrester. I get the impression that their mindset on that is "well, at the time, we had these well known soap actors on the canvas, and we wanted to really integrate them. But, they're not here anymore, so..."  But, if Carter did dare to raise that point, and Ridge's response was something like "Eric raised me, and I'm his son," Carter's response should be "well, that's because Eric is a better man than you. Remember how you were married to Brooke and helped raise Hope when she was younger? But Hope is only your daughter when you feel like getting into a pissing match with Deacon?"

Either that or Steffy will get to win whatever fight/slapfest happens. Steffy was able to smack/punch someone like Sheila around with little consequence...I can only imagine what Bradley will let her do to Hope, who knows karate btw, so there's no way a fight between those two is going end how it realistically should....

In the first interaction between Sheila and Remy it looked like Sheila did have a game recognizes game reaction. But in their second, it didn't. I'm all for Sheila being a hero in this story line that should be a summer story line, BTW, but I don't think they are going to go there. I expect Sheila to be passive, and supportive of Deacon, but not really a player throughout this story line.

*The only thing I can think of is that Zende is still salty over Paris leaving him for Carter that time, and he doesn't mind Hope per se, but Carter specifically is what turns him off. That's fine then I guess...but still at most, he should only be mildly conflicted about staying.

Didn't Zende and Paris still get back together anyway after that mess? And then a few months after the last time we saw them together, he was sniffing after Luna. If thats the excuse this show tries to run with, it really doesn't wash.

I wouldn't say any of the legacy kids have had great writing but the boys apart from Rick get absolute bupkiss. Original teen Thomas was on the show for eight years in both of his notable romances happened in his first 18 months on the show. '05 to '09 was just dead space and then suddenly he's fire bombing Rick's car. The following three have all been various flavors of starkerish crazy..

I thought he was an anomaly because Bell was just a Tridge hater but no, somehow he's given Ridge Forrester's own namesake with Brooke even worse treatment!

So, is Bill going to get her out of prison and act as a halfway house for her now or something? As I just said in the episode thread, I don't see the point here unless they're going to revisit Luna's paternity. And Bill doing all of this makes no sense at all. Yeah, he was briefly attached to the idea of her being his daughter and all, but then she killed two people, framed her mother, kidnapped someone Bill cares about, and tried to move from "daughter" to lover.

Also, is there any doubt at all that Luna beat herself up, or bribed someone to do it to make a play for sympathy from Bill, so he'd fear she wasn't safe in prison? It would be more believable to me if it was RJ who was falling for her obvious bullshit so easily. 

However, I rescind all objections if we get Bitch in a Box, Part II.  It can be Steffy, her mommy, or Steffy's Husband. Dealer's choice, Luna.

Over on Reddit, someone said they saw an interview with the actress who plays Poppy, and she said that, coming up, we're going to find out exactly why Li hates Poppy so much.  I'm taking that to mean that we're going to find out that Finn is Luna's father.  Yeah, it could also be Jack, but I feel like making Jack the father would be pointless. He's already lost everything, and he's not a part of the show. And, oh, yeah? Jack cheated on Li?  We knew that already. It's no surprise. 

Now, if it's Finn? There's way more story to be had there. I can't quite figure out the timing.  At some point, Li became suspicious that something happened between Finn and Poppy and that Finn could be Luna's father. That suspicion must have come at some point down the road, after Luna was already there, because Finn and Luna had memories of each other from when she was little. But, Finn seems to be completely in the dark about that, so I'm assuming that, if this is the story, he was under the influence of something when they hooked up, and he doesn't remember it at all. Which would be why Li never told him, or anyone, seemingly, why she cut Poppy and Luna out of their lives. And it's why she was so against Luna being in town, because she didn't want there to be any chances for the truth to be figured out. Then, the murders happened, and it came out that Tom was Luna's father. That's why Li softened towards Poppy, because hearing that Tom was the father made her think that all of her suspicions about Finn and Poppy weren't true after all. 

But, with Luna back out of jail, the truth is going to come out. Maybe there's finally a DNA test done that rules out Tom having been the father. (Really, shouldn't that DNA test have been done by the authorities after they arrested Luna, since not wanting the truth to come out about her paternity was her motive? Or even after they arrested Poppy initially, since that was also, theoretically her motive?) And hearing that Tom actually wasn't the father will revive Li's anger, and the truth will eventually come spilling out. 

As for the Tom angle, I suspect he was convenient for Poppy to pin the paternity on, so she wouldn't have to tell anyone that her adopted nephew was the father. But, Tom became obsessed with her and with the idea of being a father, so she ran from him and just went with refusing to answer any questions about who the father was.

Oh, it shouldn't. But I assume that whatever idiocy they're writing with Bill is what gets her out of jail.  Finn being her father just gives her people on the canvas who want anything to do with her (i.e. Finn and Sheila). 

And it just occurred to me, can Sheila cozying up to her granddaughter who killed Deacon's friends be what gets Deacon to ditch her?  Because I'm all for that.

As gross  as this is about Poppy and Finn, at this point I will take anything that pulls him into becoming his own character and not Steffy's Husband™ at this point. The only downside will be all the screeching and foaming at the mouth that she'll throw at Poppy and/or Luna and no matter their sins, I'm just....so tired of that. I already have a barking Chihuahua at home, I don't need to watch another on TV.

I've been thinking for a while that it seemed like they just straight up abandoned storyline they had planned for Finn, but now I'm wondering if it was just that the Luna actress wasn't available for a period of time, so they needed to put off the implosion of the Sinn marriage until she was back on screen. And, yes, anything that pulls him out of Steffy's Husband mode is a good thing.

@KerleyQ, I am all for Luna being Finn's daughter and Shelia's granddaughter.

Watching Luna and Sheila team up to make Steffy's life hell would be all kinds of amazing and a welcome change from the boredom that is the current FC plotline (unless and until Brooke gets a backbone and wants to be CEO for herself), the teen set because as cute as Will and Electra are (and the latter reminds me of a young Gina Alfonso/Hope Brady from Days), Remy was the best thing to happen to their snoozefest of a storyline, and Tales of the RumpledFridgeSkin and Limp Beige Dishrag.
